      Unfortunately, he did let her off. He could have arrested her for failing to stop for the police, but he cut her a break that he likely wouldn't have if she were just an ordinary citizen. But, I agree, he is FAR more worthy of the public trust.

      @@heatherh5450 Yea but he did that only because his boss and his boss's boss were called to the scene by her, they didn't ask him straight to let her off they both fear of the camera but the attitude was a pressure to him. It's so obvious anyone can tell, no way they can find excuses out right?

    ANYBODY THAT HAS EVER BEEN IN FRONT OF THIS DISTRICT ATTORNEY NEEDS TO CONTACT THEIR LAWYER AND BRING THEIR CASE BACK IN FRONT OF THE JUDGE. IF SHE WAS WILLING TO MAKE ONE MISTAKE LIKE THIS, HOW MANY MISTAKES HAS SHE MADE IN HER LONG CAREER AS A DISTRICT ATTORNEY

    Nothing will be done unless pressure is placed on the Governor's reelection campaign. Doorley got away with something that other people would have ended up in handcuffs and a visit to the jail.

    If there is any doubt about a 2 tier justice system, this should remove all doubt. Any other citizen would be in jail for fleeing.

    She can still be charged for fleeing an officer. There are countless examples of citizens who were arrested, pepper sprayed, tased and/or stopped using a PIT maneuver (sometimes resulting in an overturned vehicle) for not stopping soon enough for an officer. The chief also should be reprimanded for letting her off the hook for fleeing. This is ridiculous.

      @@jedimastermind007 Sovereign citizens believe they are not under the jurisdiction of the federal government and consider themselves exempt from U.S. law. City officials and law enforcement both seem to fall into the category. Sovereign immunity, is a legal doctrine whereby a state cannot commit a legal wrong and is immune from civil suit or criminal prosecution. Sovereign/ Qualified immunity protects individuals from having to follow the law and protects them from criminal punishment.

      @@rwoodey68 So, according to what you explained, since she paid the $183.00 speeding fine, which falls under vehicle and traffic laws, has she forfeited any so-called sovereignty and is now subject to resignation and to be treated like anyone else who isn't a "sovereign citizen"?

      Yep, lawyers and judges in my area get a free ride home when pulled over and are drunk, 2 cops in family, that is the policy, they just show a card and taken home

      Cops also. I know of 2 who were stopped for DUI and were driven home without a ticket or arrest.
      Blue Line Gang covers their members with perks from getting arrested, and they keep the body worn cameras silenced.

    She didn’t “make a mistake in the moment” and she CONTINUED lying and covering her bum in the interview. Governor better see that not only does that indicate that she’s not sorry, she likely thinks she had the right to do everything that she did.     How can she prosecut anyone, when she committed a felony her self. How many people have made the same mistakes and she threw them in jai. No excuses, just corrupt. Above the law at its finest. She's guilty of a felony but we are transparent. We investigated ourselves and found no wrong doing
