- Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley released a video statement Monday morning in response to the viral video of her arguing with a Webster Police Officer who tried to pull her over for speeding.
She committed a felony, she needs to be fired and then charged appropriately.
Yep, and she's still not accepting responsibility for actions... saying that she "made the officer's job harder." No, you knowingly broke the law and committed a crime by ignoring his command to pull over your vehicle and fleeing the scene!!!

If there were no bodycam footage, she would have totally gotten away with it. THAT'S why she apologized. For getting caught. What an asshole.
The police chief needs punishment as well. He gave her special treatment and allowed her to escape the other serious charges the regular citizen would have charged with. The cop needs to get an award for standing strong doing his duty.
Absolutely….he needs to lose his position along with her…but probably doesn’t want to do that because maybe she can do him a favor. Horrible what they both did…he needs to be investigated too.

Did you watch the video, the police chief said get a supervisor, and then stepped away from the situation. The supervisor came to calm things down but it was finally the officers choice to only give her the ticket. It was clear though that he was struggling with the decision. She definately got off light because of her position.

The cop talked to the chief for a minute then gave her phone back and continued pressing her. Her call to the chief accomplished nothing for her.
The cop said he could do a few different things, write the ticket and/or arrest her. He even said to supervisor “At the end of the day, I got discretion, so….” and the LT agreed.
I think he decided not to take her in because it wouldn’t be worth the paperwork and the hassle.
This cop got hung out to dry by his own leadership.
She is not sorry for breaking the law, she is sorry because she got caught and now her job is at stake.

Not sure which is worse; her fleeing police or smugly saying she will prosecute her own offense. Not to mention 20 mph over gets an automatic license suspension. Then to behave like she did, knowing she is on camera. That’s four huge red flags.

To anyother individual involved in a traffic stop for speeding and avoids arrest by fleeing or failure to stop and angrily confronting a law enforcement officer, while disegarding a direct order and is arrested and or violently apprehended, This is the case to use as a defense in that county until this elected DA is held responsible and accountable to the rule of law.

Her treatment of the cop is nowhere near as bad as her corruption. That shit she said about how she's the one who is going to prosecute it is the definition of corruption.
Anything less than disbarment and arrest for eluding is unacceptable.

Forget the evading part, I find the phone call more troubling.
Shes under the assumption that she can break the law and you should just run her plates and ignore her but assuming you do stop her she believes she can make a phone call and everything goes away.
That means there is a chain of corruption in the system. A link of people you can call to make stuff go away.
I'm more interested in who is part of this chain than her not stopping immediately.
Every number she has on speed dial should be investigated and text messages recovered.

The chief ignored her. He told the cop to call a supervisor and removed himself from the situation as he should have. There’s no need to involve the chief in speeding ticket and the chief acted properly.
The LT showed up and the cop was allowed to handle the traffic stop as he would with any civilian. It was the cop’s decision to give the ticket and not arrest her. He even discussed it with the LT, the cop said “at the end of the day I have discretion, so….”, meaning it was his choice to whether to arrest her or not.
The DA’s office *CANNOT* maintain credibility if she remains in office.
She is only sorry that the general public has learned what a despicable person she actually is.

Doorley interfered with a police officer in his official capacity when she called the police chief to intervene.

Who the hell does she think she is. She was being held accountable for speeding and instead she calls the officer's supervisor. There's a second felony too, when she calls the head of the police department, she tries to obstruct the police officer's investigation by attempting to put it to a halt. Interfering with a police officer's investigation is called obstruction of justice. It's a felony. She has racked up multiple misdemeanors and felonies.

Anyone of us would have had guns drawn on us with several charges if we decided to ignore police lights. Nothing will happen because it’s being referred to a “friendly”. This police department also needs to be scrutinized for treating her differently than another citizen.
We are only getting an apology because of the video being released. If the police officer treated her that way she would demand he be fired. Her true character came out, and everyone got to see it. I hope her family is embarrassed by her actions.

The level of entitlement in assuming that she would get off scot free, the level of disrespect towards the polite cop, and the refusal to follow orders shows her complete disregard for the law when it applies to her. I couldn't believe the way she was acting as I watched the video. Surely she knows that cops have body cameras? She showed how the entire police department has a policy of not ticketing individuals involved with law enforcement in that town. At the end of the interaction the cop apologized and explained that he didn’t know she was the DA because he wasn’t looking at his computer while following her…in other words, had he seen it was her, he would have stopped pursuing.
