Just found your channel lately and have been watching all of your mpfi tuning vids as am in the process of teaching myself the ropes and I’ve gotta say your videos have been an absolute blessing dude, A plethora of knowledge combined with just as much past experience aswell as a dash of genuine regard for your viewers… Just got yourself a new sub mate, Keep it up!
Darn it now I have to go buy it lol
I just started doing this for people. I offer small designs on engine covers . I use a k40 with the bottom cut out.
Looks like it does a good job! Might have to pick one of these up for the garage!
For anodized is awesome
Merry Christmas.
Kyle, Thank you for evaluating this. And a real BIG thanks for you and your channel! You have helped so much with tuning you will never know.
Two questions; would you happen to know how to contact the manufacturer of this device? Also, would you happen to know what the smallest font that can be etched with this? I am searching for a laser etcher that can etch a serial number that has a single digit font dimension of 0.060" tall x 0.040" wide in to black anodized aluminum.
First of all, Thank you for your work and sharing of this information.
When adjusting the timing/fuel tables there is a function to "interpolate" the
table. I am not sure how/when to use this function. I've seen the
changes it makes and the changes appear to be very extreme changes.
Should we always "interpolate" the changes to the table or just in
certain situations? Thanks again.
Merry x-Mas get the MM catch best in the business. Customer support A+ Mighty Mouse wild and don’t look back
I may have I go that route, don't even want to install this elite one
Acid etch the aluminum first then use the laser
Sometimes cermark doesn’t work that great, I haven’t used that ultra you have, I’ve only used the lmm 6000.
I have a 50w Trotec that cost 100 times more than that one, but still is trial and error. I usually just make a 1/4” dot and keep trying different power and speed levels. 100% power and 1-4 on speed. Spraying a really light coat of cermark seems to work best and I keep relasering it till it’s black then wipe it off.
Good luck
Yeah, this 20w just doesn't get it done
What can I use for button etching
What would you recommend for bumpers or wheels?
gd, the future is awesome
Kyle - most your videos are so far over my head with vehicles, I don't bother watching. But I've needed something like this for a long time for pet urn name plates as I'm currently using a trophy shop to make those. I'll probably give something like this a shot. I bet I figure out a jig that would hold them in the right position so I didn't have to adjust each one. Great job. Appreciate it.
Hey, hit me up, need to get a pretty solid one
@@GoatRopeGarage Yeah, I'll send you some different color name plates to see how well it works. Bring it with you next time and I'll pay above asking price if you'll set up the software and show me how to use the thing. I'm sure the manual is written in terrible broken English. No big deal if you sell it either.
Need a fiber laser OMTech for Chinese 50 watt if you need to do metal but looking at 5000$
They are nowhere near $5000. I have a 70 watt OMTech and I paid under $4000 (including shipping) direct from their website.
A 50 watt is $2300-$2400.
@@chunkymunkey33 Re-read my post my friend. I did not say a Co2 laser. I said “fiber”. Good luck with the Co2 with metals.
@@motojager you’re correct, I read your reply too quickly and didn’t see you were referring to their fiber model. Damn you dyslexia!!!
