Thank you for watching and commenting. I guess you are also a child of the Eighties? The first SW films were mind blowing and I think all of us that witnessed these films for the first time remain massive fans and look back at those years with a great deal of nostalgia. Wishing you the very best for the New year and hope you continue to watch my videos. Best regards...Tony

Outstanding! Thanks for sharing and congrats to the winner of this amazing piece. That is museum quality right there. I was fortunate enough to get the 1/12 scale Hasbro Black Series Snowspeeder which is also an collectable and an incredible value and when you considered what you got for the MSRP. This 1:6 Snowspeeder is just on whole other level. Again thanks for sharing.

Thank you. This raffle is actually being launched next week. If you are in the UK and follow "nxt win collectables" on FaceBook there will be a notification when it is released. Up close to this model, you can see the attention to detail that the designers have gone into...it is spectacular. I too have the 1/12 scale Black series Snowspeeder. I have not un-boxed it yet as I want to display it correctly...Crazy price for these now and really hard to find. I think I picked mine up on Amazon Black Friday for about £60 a couple of years ago. Thank you for watching and commenting.

@@williepirie5329 I am sorry. Space truly is the biggest enemy for the collector :( In the very least I hope you are able to get good money for it. The reality is, the economy is in pretty bad shape right now and everything helps. Take a lot of pictures of it before you let it go.

Hi and thank you for watching and commenting. I love this ship, probably in my top 3 from the original SW movies. I purchased this in Mint condition but with a highly damaged box about 10 years ago and sent it off for grading. It must have been old shop stock as it had never been out of the box and it achieved a 90 Gold from UK Graders. The value of these old vintage toys has rocketed in the last 5 to 6 years and the cost is now a joke.

I watched the first Star Wars movie in a theater when I was 15 years old. The special effects at the time were amazing, nothing like they are today, obviously. This model is beautifully done! A truly epic piece of work... I think my partner would have a fit if I brought that home!
At this scale I'm surprised there's no seatbelts, are they in the kit or just not done? The 3.75" & 6" variants of the last few years manage to do it, but it would be odd there's none here, ah well. I think I'll go for the 1/6th AT-AT instead.
A guy on the RPF who works on a small island of the Thames, boat building, knocks up some absolutely stunning 1/6th Star Wars vehicles. of which most head off to Outpost One in Germany - The Falcon and Slave 1 he built really have to be seen to be believed!
Nice prize, I need to take a closer look at NXT-WIN

Wait! a 1/6 scale Falcon??? I gotta see that....going to start googling now. If you are a fan of Star Wars or anything highly collectable, check them out...they give away amazing prizes. Your comment about seatbelts is a great one...I have the 6 inch version of the Snowspeeder and that has seat belts. JazzInc are great but yes there are a few things they didnt get 100% correct...But to their credit they only make a few of these as limited edition so I guess they concentrate on the wider details.

And I’m guessing either I missed how the giveaway works, it’s already done, or I’m out of luck because I’m Canadian.

Hi and thank you for watching and commenting. This is an incredible model and yes I too was very emotional when I was handling it. I love this ship and the others which we all saw for the first time in 1980 when this along with the AT AT and Slave 1 first hit the screen. The SW vintage toys are fetching crazy money for what they are. Last year I saw that a vinyl cape 3.75 inch carded Jawa sold for over $30,000 US. To think this was a plastic toy that sold for less than $2 in 1980, it is bonkers!
You have not missed the Raffle, but it is currently only going to be available in the UK. My sons are looking into the option of opening it up internationally, but not sure whether it will be in time for when this is released in May this year. If you follow them on facebook, "nxtwincollectables" they will post when this comes up for a prize.

Somone had made a fairly decent life-sized paper mâché Yoda which sat in the main window of the big popular record store in the main street. I had the original kenner snowspeeder when i were a lad in the early 80s. always been my favourite after the millennium falcon, i think i would need to build an extension to display this one...

It is also my favourite, but after the AT ST and the AT AT...'Empire Strikes Back' remains my most favourite SW film as I remember being blown away by the special effects and realism of its time. This is a monster model and someone here in the UK will get a chance to win this as a prize once my sons go live with the draw in May. Thanks for watching and commenting and wishing you the very best for the New year.

Yep...you are correct and that is disappointing especially when you get that on the 6 inch black series version, but I don't think it detracts from the amazing detail in the cockpit. Thanks for watching and commenting.

It's definitely an amazing model but I don't think it looks nicked enough weathered etc. I'm sure it needs to be seen in person to validate this.

Hi and thanks for watching & commenting. I like the look of this, but I have seen other owners who improve on the weathering. As this is going up as a prize soon, we left it in its as delivered from factory state.
