That is hands down the best swimming video I have ever seen. I have seen a lot over the years. Really, really helped. Especially the bit about crawl being a constant transition from one side to another. Before this video I didn't get that the glide phase is on your side then in constant transition until the catch. The demonstration about the trailing hand entry with lead hand still out in front while rotating has really helped me.
The explanation about gravitational effect of the sinking lead arm with the recovering arm directly above was so clear.
Thanks a bunch (from me and my coach who knows I dropped below a minute for 100 but, doesn't know why🙂)
Wow, thanks for sharing. Glad this was helpful. Keep working on it 💪🏊♂️
Too much catch up isnt either good, i got used to it. Now i am learning how to be ready for rotational force and startin catch little bit earlier. Then i can feel more pressure at end of stroke, same time reaching forward.
Yes, the timing lives on a spectrum depending on your speed and distance, and what areas you need to improve to maximize streamline and propulsion
@@traindaly Yea. Learning correct tech is difficult because dont know how it should feel. If feeling were known then corrections can be made. It would be nice video option to interview good swimmers how they feel the stroke, when they start aply power etc.
Feeling is the best way to learn. Thats a great idea. Thanks for the suggestion.
Thanks for the tips. I'll try it tomorrow!
@@gustavoxd7 awesome. Let me know how it goes
