I love to see others who can't live without a paper planner. I'm a tech person, but can't manage my work & home life on electronic devices. I had used a Franklin Planner for years, but as I'm approaching retirement, wanted something more fun. I love the Erin Condrin Life Planner, but do miss the binder aspect. You've given me something to think about. Thanks!!
Woo I LOVE when people give me ideas! I'm in the middle of watching your video and it got to 12:06 where you have morning and night routine cards! What a smart idea! I'm so dumb sometimes haha Great video!
About to make a comment and realized that I have watched this video 6 months ago. HAHA too many Erin Condren/ Filofax vids on youtube to keep track of. I just wanted to say that I do agree with you that there isn't a place to track water, etc etc so if you wanna do that like you said gotta get stickers for em or something. However, I also like how in that sense you can customize it to your needs. Not everyone is going to track their water intake or do meal planning or what have you. And as a planner addict we love our stickers so yeah more power to that :)
I did the same thing with my remaining EC planner and put it into my Filofax. After that runs out, I'm going to get iHeartorganizing's planner pages on etsy. It's a very similar layout to the EC lifeplanner and it's only $10!
I do the 52 week money challenge also, but I reverse it as I found the first year I did it, it was hard to come up with the large amounts of money towards Christmas. I love doing it.
This is really such a great idea. I really want an A because my personal just seemed so small and using my planner to put in it would be great. I may do this next year :) Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the video! I was thinking a Franklin Covey and after the video I purchased an A5 Filofax and EC planner to insert. I think it will work great! I like the FC inserts but they had an abysmal selection of binders.
Thank you!! I have punched my EC into my A5 kikki k. I see you have not included you plastic pouch, keep it together pocket or cover did you just leave those coiled?
I was using the filofax for 2014 but I just recently got my erin condren this week (March) 2015. Are you still taking your erin condren out of your spiril? And what are you doing with the inserts when it's a new year? Do you still keep them? Store them somewhere?
mom2triplets04 Right now I am strictly in my coiled Erin Condren, but when I did put them in my Filofax, I saved all my inserts and stored them in our family memory box :)
This looks so well organized and used! Do you carry this with you everywhere? I'm currently in a Personal Finchley and going through the whole personal/A5 quandry... So was wondering how portable you found your A5. Thanks!
I currently don't carry it with me daily, but I think that is just because most of my "work" is done in home, being a stay at home mom and UA-camr! If I worked outside the home, I definitely think I would carry it with me. It isn't overly heavy and I think would be really beneficial in a work setting!
Quick question on the rouge inserts, how did u go about cutting them out right? I ordered last night and when I printed it the insert is in the middle of the page. Was there a certain measurement u went by? Thx for your help!
Itsaplannerthing I had the same problem. I just used a Filofax standard page as a guideline but it was kind of a pain in the but! I wish she formatted them to be easier to cut!
Hi there! I have the same Filofax as yours. Loving your sparkly dividers. Your E.C. pages look fantastic in the filo . How do you archive the pages at the end of the year? Love from England.
Hi Sharon, don't you just love the Finsbury? It's my second one. I am thinking of trying out a personal sized Malden as well! As for archiving the papers, I paperclip them together, put them in a zip lock bag and file them with our yearly files. I keep them in a ziplock to prevent any water damage and keep them safe. I wonder if they make small waterproof bags...hmmmm! I may be looking for that on my next visit to The Container Store! :)
I love your video I totally agree with you about the EC Planner. Is the A5 heavy? I have been told the A5 is heavy and told me I should get the personal filofax
Hi! I have been using an ECLP and just received my new one. I wanted to be more creative with the dividers and personalization, so I just ordered the exact same Filofax today. So coincidental, because you are one of my favorite YTubers to watch for EC planning and today in a search for the Finsbury found you again!!! But, it seems like you have abandoned the Filofax or perhaps like many have a few planners??? Did you buy a special punch for the holes? Any updated tips? Thank you so much. Always look forward to your videos!!!
Nice video of your Filofax/Erin condren planner. What about this idea, why not use the extra pages in Erins planner and add one or two pages to each week. This would allow meal planning or any other items needed.
I uncoiled and recoiled. It was a pain in the @$$. I don't like the recoil. I am going to go to Staples this week and see about their coiling service. The only issue is their coil is plastic and I have 17 more months with this planner. If this doesn't work I will probably get an A5. Have you looked at the PPP. They have a similar set up as the ECLP but there is more room to write in columns. There are different layouts you can choose. The quality of the binding and covers can't touch ECLPs but if you protect it with an A5 that doesn't matter.
I just got an A5 and the person I bought it from had EC inserts in it. So this is my first experience with them! Where did you get the little stickers of the garbage pails?

Dawn Switzer That's exactly why I switched! I loved the layout of my ECLP, but the design of a Filofax/binder. It's the best of both worlds! :)
Woo I LOVE when people give me ideas!

Great video!

Seven Swans A Swimming AWWW! Thank you so much! That means a lot to me!
I love your setup. You have it put together really nicely. Nicely organised. Love your glitter dividers too!
FollowingAmanda Thanks so much!
TFS I wish I was as organized as you are in your Filofax.!

I love having an A5! I am really loving my current set up! So glad you found this helpful! :)
thanks so much for sharing this video...super helpful, I feel the same way, having the versatility of the binder style is awesome. Thanks again.
Thanks for the support Gina!! :) I love the binder style. I really feel like it makes my planners last year after year, since it can grow with me!
Wow! just found your vid, enjoyed watching you. We have like planner interests. Please keep 'em coming! :)
Thanks for the video! I was thinking a Franklin Covey and after the video I purchased an A5 Filofax and EC planner to insert. I think it will work great! I like the FC inserts but they had an abysmal selection of binders.
Liza Fern :) Hope you love it!
It's a shame that Erin Condren doesn't sell loose pages that fit A5 and personal sized ringed planners.
Katrina Workman I agree!!
Thank you!! I have punched my EC into my A5 kikki k. I see you have not included you plastic pouch, keep it together pocket or cover did you just leave those coiled?

WOW, the patience you have to slice all that to cut and modify for a filofax!
It's so worth it!
Really? Are you liking it?

Wow, your planner is stunningly beautiful
AskDoctorHeartbreak Aw, thanks so much! And yes, they are made from glittery cardstock that I found at Michael's!
love your filofax!!!!!!!!
What are you using now and did u like it in the filofax was it heavy ?
Kim, I'm curious what made you change back to a bound planner? Thanks :) Your videos actually got me into the Erin Condren world :)
Where did you get the lined pages in your tabbed section? Cute planner!

Michelle Fitchett I don't find it to be too heavy!
Wonderful

I bought a special hole punch on Amazon. It's the A5 6 hole punch and it was like 20 bucks. Hope this helps.
The Olie Magnetic Clips are sadly discontinued at The Container Store and always out of stock at Walmart. Let me know if you find them anywhere else.
My Container Store has them on back order! I had to specifically ask them to order them!
where did you get that pocket at? The ones with your stamps in it.
Nice video of your Filofax/Erin condren planner. What about this idea, why not use the extra pages in Erins planner and add one or two pages to each week. This would allow meal planning or any other items needed.
cherylynn927 I like that idea, Cheryllynn! Thanks for sharing!!
Hi! I really loved your video!! just wondering what hole punch you used to make the EC pages fit in the A5 filofax? Thanks!
Cherie Wheatley I used a single hole punch...it took longer but I felt like it gave me the best control.
thank you so much!

Where did you get the little stickers of the garbage pails?
ladyinblack1964 I love A5s! The stickers were purchased from StickersWashiandMore on Etsy!
