When the zombie apocalypse comes I will come to you for stickers!! Haha! Toooo funny! I also put my ECLP in a filofax. I have a finsbury and its kinda tight with all of my other stuff, but I still love, love it!
FYI - Fiskars has a warranty program and will replace the bar with the wire for free...it only takes a picture to do it...mine frayed too!! Check out the website :)
Thanks for sharing the keep it together folder bottom taping. Great for creating a third pocket. Also a note for plum paper, you can request it come unbound so you won't have to cut it at all.
Useful tutorial I may do this myself. Just a hint please use the tabs on the ends of the rings to open the binder, opening a Filofax by its rings can wreck them.
Just found your channel and enjoy your videos. I so relate to having a professional "grown up" look to your planner. I would be completely laughed at if I brought my planner with stickers to work and in meetings with my "corporate peers". I also use Filofax. For writing with rings in the way, I just cut slits in all my inserts so it's like an arc notebook and I just slip them in and out when I write- it's perfect! Also so glad there's another planner nerd in WA like me - Go Hawks!!! :)

I just watched a video where LisaMarie from Paper & Glam put her EC into her Kikki K and put a strip of shipping label paper over the perforations on each side of the page. She said it did bulk it up a little bit but the extra space would be worth it to me. I'm not sure if this method would work with the Malden though because it would increase the width of the page about 1/4 inch and it already seems to be sticking out as it is. Would love your opinion. Thanks!!
Please contact EC and let them know that there are customers who have A5 binder planners who would like to have their planner sold unpunched in that size. If you agree, please ask others to do the same thing.

Your video totally convinced me to transplant my EC into the A5 Malden Filofax! Just a few questions, is your Malden the Ochre color? It seems a darker color (which I like) than the picture on Filofax's website. Also are you still using the planner in your Filofax? I saw a more more recent video and you were using a coiled EC. Just wondering if you found problems with using a binder system. Thanks so much for the video, it was fantastic!!
Hi Shia Lane ! I actually ended up being more bugged about losing space in the Wednesday/Thursday columns than I thought I would be. Many of the stickers I make and sell in my Etsy shop are made to go across the entire width of the column so it made using them difficult. Also it made the planner a bit heavier and much larger all around and I found I wasn't carrying it with me as often. Other than that it was great to be able to move things around and add stuff in. I wasn't using my notes pages up as quickly as I thought I would so problem solved haha! Let me know if you have any more questions! :)

I'm glad it was helpful! I find that the wider the A5 binder, the better for housing the Erin Condren inserts. They are significantly wider than traditional A5 inserts so they tend to stick out. The Malden is wider so it works pretty well. I believe there are companies that make A5 wide binders now too that fit these inserts even better. Hope that helps and thank you so much for watching!
What size of a hole punch did you use? I have a one hole punch but the holes are a little bit bigger than Filofax holes.
I believe I used the 3/16” side of this crop-a-dile. That seems to be closest to the original Filofax hole size. You should be able to get away with a 1/4” punch as well. I generally just use the adjustable Rapesco 6-hole punch I got from Amazon now. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!
