This *may* be a remake of an old classic, which people seem to hate just for the lolz these days, but knowing that the dog-actors in this movie were rescued and then given forever homes afterwards made this movie a thounsand times better!
nighty - Them being rescues is adorable but there’s no denying that this is no where near as good or as charming as the original. I feel like there have been too many talking dog CGI films recently for this to be interesting. The original will most likely be way better than this.
@@thedayaftertomorrow5950 It's not meant to be. "better," just a newer version of the story and since it's on Disney+, which many people will have, it'll be checked out. Also there are slow moments in the original that I hope this movie doesn't have. Of course the animated one will always be the superior one though, but I'm a big fan of Disney animation so....
How fitting that Montey before filming was EXACTLY like Tramp's story

I am so beyond excited and happy the remake is being filmed only with rescue dogs! I foster dogs from two local shelters where I live, one of which is always at capacity and has no choice but to euthanize simply because the law states they must take in every dog that comes and most members of my city refuse to help shelter pets. I'm telling you firsthand that to see the love in the dogs' eyes when you bring them home from the shelter, even just to foster them, is priceless. I've fostered 16 dogs of all ages- from ten weeks old to ten years old- and all have found amazing new homes! I have another foster dog right now that was deemed 'feral' because he lived without human interaction for all 4 years of his life. Many of my fosters were saved from euthanasia hours before they would have lost their lives, all because I stepped up to save them. I say all of this to say: please support rescue pets in any way you can. Even if you cannot foster due to your life circumstances, every shelter always needs more volunteers. I started at age 16 at one of the shelters I foster for, and it changed my life and gave me my passion for rescue. Thank you, Disney, for creating a cast of all rescue dogs! It means more to me and all other rescuers than you will ever know! ❤

I volunteer at my local Humane Society. Some of my birthdays I asked for money to buy things for the animals at the shelter instead of presents. I'm looking forward to this film!

I had one of the puppies as a foster that is in the sandwich scene. They were both fosters of One Love Animal Rescue in that scene.
That's exactly why this is so amazing they could've just done the whole movie with cgi but they put rescue dogs in as actors to make a statement about adoption! So wonderful

They used real dogs because they are easy to trained not like some movies have to used by computer because they can’t trained wild animals

Well, I'm still waiting for a live action of 'The Little Mermaid' not just because it's my #1 favorite Disney movie of all time but because I heard Daveed Diggs will be voicing Sebastian (that's when apparently I felt bad for Lin Manuel Miranda because Sebastian is his favorite character and his son was named after the crab, not to mention 'The Little Mermaid' was also Lin's favorite Disney movie ever)
'Lady and the Tramp' is my 2nd favorite Disney movie and 'Robin Hood' is my 3rd favorite btw

Going to see this just to support these film makers!! More people need to adopt instead of shopping for animals. There are so many cats and dogs being killed in shelters everyday. Also you can say “LET PEOPLE DO WHAT THEY WANT” yeah, you’re right but that doesn’t make their choice any less wrong. #adoptdontshop

I just watched the remake on disney+ in some ways its better than the original in others the original was better all in all still a great movie

can't wait to watch this movie on the 12th right? i don't leave for my trip til 13th. i love disney and dog movies and always wished i had a spaniel i could name lady. think this remake will be very heartwarming. love how rescue dogs are used almost like the benji movies.i hope this movie makes me cry in a good way.

All 3 of my dogs are rescued off the street and my cat is also a rescue off the street.
Someone tried to kill my dachshund when he was 8-weeks-old, we still have him and he is 14/12 years old now, he was tied to a trailer and left for death. My other dog ( I don’t know what breed he is) we rescued him from off a busy street, he was dodging cars and almost got ran over, he was not even 5 - months - old when we rescued him, he is 9-years-old now and loves to hug but has huge trust issues with other people. My chihuahua was the runt and was gonna be put down because nobody would adopt her, we immediately stepped in and adopted her, she is now 9-years -old as well. My cat is a Siamese and she was abandon on the streets by her previous owners, we adopted her after my Russian Blue died 8-9 weeks earlier at that time. She is a sweetie and still hasn’t grown out of her kitten stage, she is 5-years-old now.
We don’t rescue anymore but if we do see an animal that needs to be rescued, we call animal rescue and we inform them about the animal.

I hate people who do that, trust me that is animal abuse and cruelty. We can’t rescue anymore. We will only call if an animal needs to be rescued. I’m a huge animal lover and when I get paid, most of my check goes to my pets. There vet appointments, grooming, flea medication and getting dog shampoo.
We r unable to rescue anymore animals. I hope and pray that animals that are suffering and having trouble finding a home, are alright in the scary world.

I believe that Justin Theroux will do as good a job doing Tramp's voice as Larry Roberts did and I also believe that Tessa Thompson will do as good a job doing Lady's voice as Barbara Luddy did. Certain scenes in the original version of Lady and the Tramp remind me of six Thomas the Tank Engine stories about being careful, eight Thomas the Tank Engine stories about working together and eight Thomas the Tank Engine stories about behaving well.
