I just love the way u teach I was really struggling to learn play song but you just made me play it in just 2 weeks practice.really really thank you Ella❤️❤️ you're the best👍👍
Very well explained....loved it,very helpful ❤️.....I searched many videos regarding buzz sound , but I got my problem' s solution here, Thank uhh Ellen 🌹💕
Thank you for the tips. My guitar has been buzzing a lot recently. I got it restrung for the first time because it was long overdue. But it buzzs in certain areas of guitar (mostly on certain single notes). I took it to get looked at about a week later, but they didn't notice the buzzing. They just said that perhaps I am used to used strings and to give the guitar time. But if that's the case, I don't know how long to give it because I can't play how I usually play without a buzz and it's very annoying.
So glad it sounds like you finally got it figured out! 🙌 I remember how frustrating that was as a beginner so hopefully these tips can help others struggling with the same thing. 🤗 Thanks so much for watching! 💕
Really well-done video, Ellen. Organized and to the point, and with your friendly personality it really shines. Whoever does the editing gets a thumbs up also.
Wowwww👍👍.....nice job girllll👍 This is Tupur n I hve been seeing ur videos since a long time....🥰🥰..hehe...ly.. remember I will support u in everything you'll do...😊...cause ik that u r a good person..helping others.
This is excellent. I’ll just add, even if you can do your own setup, about every six months you should have a pro do it. If you travel to an area with a different climate, you should have it set up then too. Basic the weather effects the instrument’s materials; they’ll expand and contract, the neck can become bowed-a leading cause of fret buzz-and you get ‘fret sprouts’ where the edges of the neck feel sharp at the frets. Frets should also be polished and the fret board cleaned (finger grime) and re-oiled to condition the wood about twice a year. It pays to learn how to do this yourself along with how to change your strings. A cheap guitar that gets some love can play like a guitar costing four times as much.
Thank you!! I normally play the uke but I'm adding the baritone uke aka tenor guitar. And I'm getting the buzz. I think it's my technique, to be honest. As a uke teacher i should know better!!!
Hi there! thanks for telling me about this! I have experienced this problem since I started. I do have a Teacher but he lives on the opposite side of the world so we can't really do our practice for that long. I figured out my problem. It was my pressure and the right spot to press! Thank you a lot Ellen!
Thanks so much for this video. I've seen a shit ton of vids on here going on about a lot of other complex reasons why I suck, but you got right to the point and brought up some things I had never even thought of like the second tip, and the last one about warped necks.
Hi Ellen This was very useful. Especially the pressing too hard and bending the strings. I hadn't even considered that. My issue is more about "fat fingers" I just can't seem to get my fingers to fit of not mute strings. A major chord is the one that gets me all the time. Do you have any advice? Tks heaps Matt🇦🇺🦘
Excellent video. My problem with my fingers had there own mind. Teaching them to curl and press makes it hard to correct the tension when I play. I can't seem to apply the same pressure on all four strings at a time. I guess that will take time.
So great to hear!! 🙌 The action makes a huge difference in how easy it is to play (especially as a beginner) so I'm glad you found what works for you! 🤗
Thanks Ellen for this video for people like me who are learning from YT and don't have a personal teacher ❤️
definitely! 🤗 thanks for watching and i'm really glad to be able to help however i can! 💕
Yesss

Wow. I’ve been playing guitar (as a hobby) for more than a decade and still did not know these technicalities. Thanks for sharing. :)
Thank you! I didn't realize how hard I was pressing down on the strings. Which was making it hard to arch my fingers
I just love the way u teach I was really struggling to learn play song but you just made me play it in just 2 weeks practice.really really thank you Ella❤️❤️ you're the best👍👍

And this a problem for your child mind because ... ? Lack of attention span beyond t-shirts and bumper stickers?
