3:click movie
4:click the video you want to put in
5:press the plus sign that is underneath or next to the video you selected
6:click video and click the song you recorded
7: press the 3 dots
8: click audio only
9:hear how your video sounds like
10:click done
11:press the import button
12:select save video
13:choose your export size
14:and your done

It will be good if they have the option for us the ppl the use VS to mute the music we add in one of the clips that and we add or to lower it but the small video clip sound it’s use idk if u get what I’m saying.

Morgan TV oh I’m sorry. So you want to first open up cute cut then upload the vid once you’ve done that click on the vid you just uploaded it should have a volume like icon press on it and you can then choose how loud you want it to be in the beginning or end

So I’ve seen a lot of comments about being confused on how to get just the audio/voiceover. When you click the plus sign (symbol) on iMovie it takes you to your camera roll. This is where you’ll select the video that contains your voiceover. Click on the video & more CLEAR options should pop up (due to iMovies new update). You should see an option that says audio only!! Click audio only & your audio should now appear into iMovie. You can drag this audio around (hold down on the audio & then try to drag it around). I’m so incredibly sorry for the confusion & I’ll be more than happy to make a more clear tutorial if needed. If you guys have anymore questions, don’t hesitate to ask! I’m here to help! 💛

Enya Boyce you click the add then when you click on a video there should be a button with 3 dots click that then click the music button

Hey! If you don’t know how to add the audio on the updated iMovie, all you need to do is add your first clip/video, then click plus to add another video. You can screen record your audio beforehand and click your screen recorded video. There should be three dots. Click that and more options should pop up. Click “audio only” and then it imports as your audio. You can cut it and everything. Hope this helps a few people! ❤️

*for some of the people asking how to do the voice in the middle of an edit.* do the regular edit first, then save it (obviously). then go on imovie and import the edit and the clips you want of them talking. after, you want to spilt the edit to where they’re talking. detach the audio you want of them talking and (personal preference) make the regular audio 82% and them talking 100%. then you just want to make sure it’s lined up and it looks like they were already talking. then you can delete the clips that have no sound. :) hope this was helpful but i’m bad at explaining things, so if anybody reads this and doesn’t understand i could post it on my channel.

it‘s nata When it says that you have to import ur photos/videos for the edit into there. For example, you can split the scene, then import a photo/video into that clip to make ur edit. Srry if it sounds a bit confusing, it’s a little hard to explain but I hope you get what I mean :)
