Tiktok is the worst app to have ever been created and it's made Tiktok a lot of money
Tiktok culture is breeding a new age of Tiktok cringe. However Tiktok isn't just cringe, Tiktok is ruining society. Tiktoker's such as Charli D'Amelio and Bella Poarch are promoted because the Titok algorithm rewards hedonism. However, Tikok's design is also ruining generation z's attention span and destroying their short-term memory. But as Tiktok culture distracts you with Tiktok' cringe videos, you'll be to consumed to read Tiktok's privacy page which admits to sending all your data back to China's government, too notice. This is why Tiktok is cancer. Tiktok is a psychological weapon and we have to stop watching Tiktok videos/memes.Because Tiktok is destroying education. This video details how tiktok makes money.

I’m sorry dude but this is way too underrated
It's not just TikTok, anybody know what Tencent is??? It is a major Chinese investor in game publishers such as Epic, Warner Brothers, and Blizzard. So now it's social apps, games, oh and Google and Disney.
I strongly urge anyone interested in breaking away from this garbage to Google Yuri Bezmenov. He was an ex KGB agent who defected and told the US about massive psychological and social destruction.
Please, get rid of Social Media, get rid of Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok. Because the great reset is upon us and it will only take another few years before "Socialism" gets its grip on us.

It's also ruined the music industry. Songs nowadays are 2 minutes long and don't have anything about them. They're shallow and hollow. Very disappointing.
As a border millennial/gen z, i gotta say tik tok is negatively impacting the minds of everyone, watching one conspiracy video leads to a whole algorithm of false information and mistrust, confirmation bias has never been easier to achieve with all of these videos that feed into one side of the opinion. Attention spans dwindling, exclusively caring about the approval of strangers, depression and suicide reaching its highest in human history, following trends that half of the time is simply bad for your physical and mental health, our phones know more about us than we know ourselves, and if this continues it can get to the point that our phones will fully dictate what we do, and with everything going on around the world, it's basically checkmate on the human race. I know no one will read this but I had to get this out somewhere.

I was actually thinking about this today; when I was a kid my parents didn't allow me to have a TV in my room for years. When they finally conceeded and found I was breaking the rules in regards to set limitations on when the TV was allowed ON, they took the remote away from me, meaning that I couldn't turn it on from my bed. Smart move.
Why not just bar social media content on children's phones between certain hours. I.E between 9am and 3pm and then again between 9pm and 9am for example? That way they're guaranteed not to be so thoroughly negatively impacted by it.
It's honestly disgusting. I have a cousin who's 11 years old and he just can't stop watching tiktok. Every time we go to watch a movie he always says to skip a certain part because it's "boring". It's safe to say that TikTok has had an effect on him. Can you imagine watching tiktok for 3 hours a day how much useless information would enter your head? It's crazy the world we live in.
That’s really sad actually
I don’t understand how a level-headed individual could allow their kid to 1. go as far as becoming addicted to social media and 2. let them continue to use their phone in a situation like that. Does your brother or sister have no control over their kid?

My w9fe got into it for a while and it eventually came to a point where we had to talk about it. No accusations, no yelling.... I just showed her several videos of psychologists saying how bad it is. It wasnt immediately but she realized she was doing nothing but watching tiktok all day long and neglecting everything else and she finally snapped out of it. Im not religious, but thank you lord!
Well that’s a jaded way of seeing things, but this video exists for a reason and I believe that it will change a good many minds. The one thing that isn’t mentioned in this video is that Tik Tok has so much more influence than just peer pressure, many see it as their way of cultivating an audience on the digital market place and potentially setting up a career for the rest of their lives and many have already done that, even if it comes to a risk of personal data and livelihood. Is it a good excuse? Maybe, maybe not, but it’s a hard bargain when you could potentially live off 30 second clips if it’s at the cost of your privacy. We’re already at the point where people use Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter all just as much and those platforms are all on the same level as well. It doesn’t matter if they are within our borders or not, they are beginning to impact our psychology as a species at this point.
This video does have a lot of issues though. Not defending TikTok, but a lot of the things said here are fueled by a lot of reactionary vitriol and some legitimately conspiratorial thinking.
I believe real conspiracies have always existed and we just don't always know what ones we're getting right or what to look for. This world is slowly collapsing beneath the people who step over everyone to get ahead in life.
Also, many (not all) of these TikTok users keep uploading false news making more and more people scared of what scientists have to say, and now they believe everything is a conspiracy.

no, tiktok is way, way worse.
And the irony, of desktops being insecure, is that they used to joke windows was insecure, Android is like Windows XP in security...
And I don't ever consider Apple, you can't control any shit with IOS, it does what it wants, Apple is not more secure, its only more secure than Android in a way that it makes impossible for the user to change things, but from the other side, some developers have special access to do whatever, so its even more insecure than Android, which everyone basically already knows its the wild west in security and can take measure, which you can't with IOS, as you can't even customize it to be more secure.
(and before you say crap, I know what I'm saying, I have a literal company that makes a "jail" software to isolate in a secure box an application, so it can't interact with anything else in the system, unless you allow it, Apple is the worst in terms of systems, it is not more secure, its just secure in a way that's hard to jailbreak and free the phone to do whatever, to really make it yours)

I have actually had someone tell me I'm being abusive in the fact that they don't have tablets to suck their minds away for hours a day. They play outside, read, draw and people compliment my kids for being kind and polite all the time. I see how some kids are and it blows my mind.
@@starrykat7263 eh being able to navigate the internet, being tech literate and even social media is fine to an extent, but letting your kids go ham, get sucked in by the social media brainwashing of hoarding likes, getting obsessed with appearance and feeling inadequate is crazy. People should at least explain to their kids, that the stuff influencers post isnt how their day actually looks like.
@@starrykat7263 You’re doing great, thank you. 13 year old here, I’ve only had free reign on my devices for… not even a year, actually. I always did feel stressed and left out because I always had these “stupid rules” about using my devies, like no social media, or time limits, but I think they’ve done nothing but help me. I try to control my usage, and don’t use social media. Raising your kids with phones in their hands is not a good thing… if only my friends hadn’t been raised that way.
It's not just TikTok. I've never downloaded or been on TikTok, but I can see from years of social media use my attention span has suffered terribly. I used to read 100 pages of a good book at a time, now after 20 I get antsy or bored. It's sad. I got rid of my Facebook 6 months ago and am considering deleting my IG app from my phone. Been trying to read more. It feels good to be picking up a book again and exercising my mind. You forget how exciting it can be to turn the page and read what happens next.
Absolutely. I'm shocked whenever I read a new book how insanely difficult the first few pages are. After a few tries I get back into it and love it but it really shows how little attention span I have per default.
Literature on the web is also good, SCP is free and it's home to some incredible feats and works of art.
@@yotokil2914 That's true, but nothing quite beats having a book in your hands. Since I wrote that comment I've managed to read 2 books :)
@@bubblephobiaoftheshire A book a week keeps the brain from being weak! Aha, but yeah I can understand why physical books can be preferable, I just like free stuff and I can't go out because of Parent :]
Oh and yeah, in relation to social media in the post, I've done a decent job of staying out of it for my age range I think. After all, I wanna be a _somewhat_ smart 12 year old and not an unoriginal and *kinda* dumb one, to sum it up plainly :v
I don't care if it makes me socially undesirable, albums and novels are better anyways xD
Good to know you have positive mindset. Keep it up!
Excellent work! Simply excellent. This is precisely what Tick Tok and all social media is doing these days. It's heartbreaking to see the Y and Z generations becoming the new lost generations. It's truly sad and creepy to say the very least. I refuse to ever watch Tick Tok for ANY amount of time.
Thank you for the dopamine hit in this video!!!

Parents buying TikTok shirts for their 4 year olds makes me puke.
yes exactly or givng their four year olds phones with tik tok on it and calling it parenting or going its the only way to keep them quiet
And organizing TikTok birthday parties.
But the good thing about it is that it makes the kids get over it sooner under the ancient rule of: "if grown ups like it then it's not cool".
I saw a literal 3 year old wearing a tracksuit with the tiktok logo and colours (white read and cyan) on it
Chill💀
Parents don't really know the truth behind, they think buying something that their child could relate to will make them happy. Don't blame parents, they'll do whatever to make their children happy.
Also the double tap like feature causing imprinting of how your feeling in your brain. They use tapping in a great therapy model EMDR. I downloaded it and found myself losing 3 hours like Majik. It's was obvious to me. But the young ones SMH. Peace great video
Hopefully this app gets banned. It is the trashcan of the Internet. I never had this trash app and never will. I hated it from the start.
I had it for like 30 minutes, realized how addicting it could be, and uninstalled it.
Well done. You have passed the test of the good and the bad side xd
Well done.

You have no idea how true that is for people below 15-20
i enjoy philophy and when i try to think of different concepts it doesn't take more than a minute before I give up. I'm 15 and watch tiktok almost everyday and its fucking terrible
@Rico Johnson well clearly you do
im 16, and i can confirm people my age are hella stupid
@Rico Johnson im sorry why are you here again? Aside from calling anyone and everyone a moron for reasons I guess?
That's the point. Keep them dumb
It is an absolute sewer pipe. I completely agree and the fact that they Let little girls get on there like that tells me something's wrong with it.
The Ironic thing is that the people who need to watch this video probably don't have the attention span to watch all of it lmao.

When TikTok became famous, I honestly thought it was overrated, now I'm glad I never used TikTok
My sister consumes hours of TikTok videos every day. I sent her the link to this video and she told me she wouldn't watch it. I asked her for the reason why she wouldn't and she said "no one watches 20-minute videos".
If you ask me it is already too late. There is no point in trying to fight back at this point.
its sad, people think this video is like parents saying “oh its that damn phone” when it actually has a point.

Personally, I think TikTok is just showing off how destroyed society already is.
true =(
I lost hope in society before it and now I lost all hope for society.
Destroyed by leftism. Critical theory. "Progressivism."
Am only a fellow citizen dont like and use tiktok, dont lose hope remember we have still people like us
Use literally any platform. Just not Twitter.
I recognized one of the songs playing in the background. It's a song called "Ecstatic Wave" by Jens Kiilstofte.

Google and other big tech companies do the same. Google for example saves the data from your phone which app you opened at what time for how long and that for everyday you use it. So what really is the difference. Just because China is the big enemy like Russia. People need to realize the US government does a lot of bad stuff in world too and you generally should watch out who you give your data too. Also a friend once said to me "well I have nothing to hide", but that's not the point. Now you've nothing to hide but what about 20 years from now!

I feel bad. Hope she gets the help she needs tho.
I used to do the same, tiktok was like a drug to me... anyway sending support😊❣️
As a gen z girl, I feel really concerned about my generation. When I was 12 all I did was play ACNL and a few Pokemon games on my 3DS, that’s it. Now I don’t mingle with my friends much because all they talk about is some dumb Tiktok trend :(
@@Elystelle_ luckily my few friends hate tiktok as much as I do. One of them used to use it, but they deleted it because they just hated it. I’d say my friends are honestly part of those few gen Z kids that are actually smart.

I have downloaded tiktok once and then I delete it bcoz its just don't fit with me.
I've never installed the app, and refuse to buy a new phone since majority sold here in my country come pre-installed with it and some do not have the option to uninstall. Telco companies promote data plans exclusively or add on only for tiktok.
A year ago, I quit all of my social media, left only discord for friends and reddit for some news I wanna check occasionally. Best decision in my life!

One of TikTok's biggest sin:
Basically ruining songs I love to a point where it became unrecognizable. If I can create 3 billion bots to give TikTok 1-star rating I will do it.
I mean you COULD ask a dev to create what's basically a virus that can self replicate infinitely and program it to do nothing but give TikTok a one star rating as it keeps self-replicating.
