7/9/2019 This is for all of my Super Fantastic family members that have been supporting me from the start. Bekus our channel is growing so fast I feel that it would really be a fantastic idea for all of us to get together on the 1st and possibly the last Saturday of every month to do a LIVE UA-cam hour. I was thinking this would be a great way for us to talk with each other on a better level, also to answer questions and to get to know everyone that has had my back from day one. I am retired military and getting back into fishing and hunting. I ran across this video yesterday and glad I did. Cam goes out of his way to explain, show, educate and discuss his product in his videos. I appreciated his integrity so much, I bought his hooks. I have a 'nasty' feeling I am going to become a loyal customer. Cam is legit folks, I would think twice about passing him up.

Trokar hooks are pretty sharp too. The duller your hooks the harder you have to set the hook. When it comes to crappie fishing, I use an ultralight rod and the smallest reel size I can get away with. I use flurocarbon line for clear water and light braid for sensitivity. If your retrieve is too fast it doesn't give the fish a chance to get hooked. With a smaller reel it has a lower line retrieve rait.
I don't know if I'm hooked on the nasty bend hooks or Cam's awesome energy! I just became a subscriber..."The game is over"! Lol Thanks sir!

Good to see you posting bro! I can certainly witness to those Nasty Bend Hooks! I usually take the pliers to get the hooks out of the fish, but with the Nasty Bends, the hook set is just right! No need for the pliers. Can't wait to get that Platinum Edition! I have to put in work this Spring.

I throw ultra finesse 1/32 ball head weedless skirted jig with a 6-8 size hook for bass fishing. I use an 8 foot crappie rod to throw them. I use 10lb braid mainline to a 8lb leader. I catch huge 1-2 lb crappie and 1-4 lb bass on that setup on the regular. It's a blast I live down on a private lake in the lake Seminole area on the georgia side.
Crappies mouths are paper thin , never worried about hooks. If you know how to fish, you can catch them on cane poles.

@@CAM67 yeah. Home of the 3 pound crappie. I don't crappie fishing much but I snag all the time. Grenada spillway has 60 and 70 lbs carp in there. I've caught 2.5 lbs crappie in there before tho

Love all of your videos. I have NEVER caught a crappie and I've tried very hard. I've almost given up until.stumbling upon this channel about a year ago. I'm in South Carolina where the weather is crazy right now. High of 50 yesterday now in the mid 70s. Using a jig like that is great but there's a fishing line called nanofil is made by Berkeley it's made for spinning rods only they can make that jiggle a lot farther then what you're using

Those sure are some nice looking crappies. I had to laugh when I saw the title... SPRING! Ha ha, spring is nowhere in sight up here. I've still got 11 inches of ice on my spots, and more cold weather and snow on the way. I'm a believer in those Nasty Bend hooks, though. I love mine, they really do hook up easy. Pretty much the ONLY jigs I used for crappie all last spring, summer, and fall. Good stuff, my friend.

If You want to know when Crappie Redbreast and other Pan fish are with eggs , look at their hole and it will be a pinkish color or similar

Very nice man wish I could afford couple rods reels and them jigs. But just had heart attack last month so my fishing gonna be off buying anything for few months only gonna be able to buy stuff for big n little fishers to close to spring. Got to get stuff to give the kids not me. But maybe next season I'll be able to get me 2 sets and go catch some crappie. So for now I'll use my small bass rods don't have any crappie rods no more my last few broke and few gave away. But awesome video nice crappie need me freezer full Dr said eat more fish. Sir I like your videos but I have some of them hooks that look like yours and they do the same on hooking up with fish well from what I have seen on your videos I have never use your hooks and on the rod and reels I got a micro fishing pole from walmart and it is just as good I mean I dont know for real cause I have never used yours but I wish I could to tell you which one is better but I like your channel and love your work keep it up thanks for and appreciate all the hard work and time you put in to your videos and channel so thanks again

When I was young my dad taught us to count as soon as the jig hit the water. We counted until we caught fish or got hung up... if we got hung we counted to a smaller number.
Lets say I kept getting hung up at 9 everytime. Now we started reeling at 7. What ever number we started counting fish at that’s the number we used to start reeling.
