Thanks for your videos. But there are instances where the oil is well gauged and the generator shutdown, until you disconnect the oil switch the problem persist. What's the cause?
@@TimothyOyeniran I think the float needle inside the generator crankcase is stuck. Sometimes a little wabble and shaking can make it unstuck. Or you can just dismantle it and check the float needle.

Nice video,my generator shut down i changed the oil it didn't start until i unplugged the oil switch connection,do i need to change the sensor

Great video on oil sensor and switch..I bought used Firman eco8990esr but later realized the oil switch is missing while the oil sensor is still intact on the engine. I got a new oil sensor and I have plugged the oil sensor to the oil switch but how do I know the on/off switch wire to pug the oil sensor output wire to?
There is a black wire coming from the plug end... That's d wire
@@bencoinstitutethe only wires coming from spark plug area are the two wires coming from carburettor. What Is the black wire you're talking about connected to?

No there is a black wire under the tank.... Look for it
