I’d like to see a more improved version of this. This exact one seems almost like a gimmick, great starting prototype though

I wish they would invest in things like this more often. I'm honestly surprised at the output from a simple candle.
    Good find!

The Luminser is still available for sale on Amazon for $19.99. An 8 pack of oil candles is $14.99, also on Amazon. Good to have for emergencies and educational for the kids.

great... so now I bring extra oil canisters instead of extra batteries, this doesn't solve anything.

      Curious what you expect!?

@@smadas4192 I think you are simply confused on what the purpose of a lantern is; it's to provide light...
And this here what we are looking at, is indeed a lantern, nothing more.
What I expect is something hopefully better or more useful than a lantern.
So what are you seeing here that makes this more than a normal lantern?

@@Sl4yerkid unlimited power! Oil lasts alot longer than batteries and the light is very good! If I still went camping, I would pick this over batteries!

Buy the time you buy the oils cartridges you could have a solar powered light. Still might be Seth the cost for temporary use. But if there is an SHFT you wouldn’t be able to buy the cartridges
