Wow, I'm playing in that band on horn but I can't believe how slow we took it... all I can say in our defence is we had a list of about 25 or so Sankey songs and we played every verse to each song. As we dropped out on one verse, I guess, this is close to the end of the service and are exhausted by this point. Always enjoyed it and whatever the weather was like on the Saturday before, the Sun on the Sunday always shone bright through the Chapel windows. The view of the fields outside was magnificent.
Praise the Lord for this video. I rediscovered this song last Sunday! May we all sow seeds of kindness and reap the sheaves. God Bless you.
What a cracking good rendition of this stirring hymn! Rich and sincere!

Out of tune? Must be the band. The Welsh are incapable of singing "out of tune". Love from the U.S.A.
Christ that was out of tune!
A few Poms must have sneaked in.
