I've loved your Yearly Favorites for years - has always been a good reference for things I may like. I've wanted to get the Chanel Water Tint for years now but still must get. For categories in this video, I've definitely become a Kosas girl for brows, concealer, and powder, Laura Mercier Light Reflector moisturizer, Mario powder bronzer, and Kjaer Weis Inner glow blush were probably my tops~

All it took was that Charlotte Tilbury palette opening in the beginning to make me instantly like this video and buckle down for a good time with a bowl of freshly popped buttery popcorn! Can’t wait for part two!!! Been obsessed with Merit’s flush balm in Mood and pairing it with their lipstick L’Avenue that I got on Black Friday! Such a comfortable easy to use formula and perfect wintery autumn berry with a hint of brown shade! Been getting a lot of compliments on it too from my friends saying it just looks like a perfect natural wintery flush! Love, love, love it!!! 🍿💗🫶💗🍿

hurray for yearly favorites season! it's always fun to see which products/formulas stick around in your yearly favorites and which are new appearances :) i don't use base products, but my number one favorite this year in the face category was definitely danessa myricks' clear dew wet balm (which i discovered through your videos!) - used it almost every time i wore makeup. i stuck to a low-buy this year, but a new affordable edition to my blush collection was elf's putty blush - it's a fantastic cream to powder finish, i own bali, which is a really nice muted red. other than that, my favorite blushes were old favorites: kosas' cream blush and colourpop blush sticks. also, kiko milano's contour stick was perfect for masc days: it has two shades, and the darker one is perfect for my medium skin tone, and it blends sooo nicely.

My new favorite base routine this year is mixing a the Rare Beauty skin tint with MAC’s Strobe Cream in Pinklite with the Glossier concealer. My skin looks dewy, luminous, and healthy, and I’m obsessed!
What a great cocktail of products, all these products are already amazing on their own. Can’t wait to give it a try!!

I’m still desperate to get my hands on Merit products, especially that gorgeous blush!
My favourites in these categories include Luminous Silk foundation and concealer, By Terry powder (I just bought the mini for my purse and it is teensy), Hourglass Elephant palette for blush, bronze and highlight (also does the job for eyeshadow in a pinch). Cream blush faves are TL, especially Freddie and Phoebe.

Hourglass Veil Retoucher! It’s the best concealer ever - so lightweight and luminous but in a healthy/serum way. I wear it all over my face instead of foundation and I love it!

I know this is a oldie but I love the ct concealer looks so beautiful I also liked or should I say loved the dark brown ct eyeliner. Such a gorgeous look if I want a darker brow look, I am also in love with the ct bronze and glow film star powder. That is a must so utterly beautiful 😍❤️

I love a good recap with some newbies. The past 3 years I have been working on my skincare. I have added 2 serums and prescription Tretinoin to my skincare routine. Because of this I can now use very minimal make up. I do not like foundations. So I use a tinted sunscreen for my daily routine. Adapting your use of concealer and brightening creams as been a game changer. My next big purchase will be Chanel Les Beige Water fresh glow. Brows are so hard for me. I have natural gray hair and brows. The only thing I have found is Benifit Brow products in the color grey. It is cool and very forgiving. Thank you for everything you do . I like the end of year favourites. I have rediscovered Dior eyeshadows. Their previous formulas were a bit on the dusty powdery side. New formulas are so much better, creamy with a smoother finish. I splurged on a few of their eyeshadow palettes, Miss Dior 1947, Diorshow backstage in Khaki neutrals, Ecrin couture eyeshadow palette and the Galactic eyeshadows for the holidays. Dior's eyebrow gel a new discovery for me, as I previously never used eyebrow products before.
I have discovered Chanel Le Volume mascara, which is fast becoming one of my favourites, but I think my all time favourite mascara has to be Dior's Pump'n volume.
Sisley anti cernes concealer is great for concealing dark circles, without giving that cakey powdery effect and it lasts all day. Their stylo eyeshadow crayon sticks are EXCELLENT! No primer needed, lasts all day no creasing. Sisley's Phyto khol star waterproof eyeliner pencils are very good, with different finishes from sparkling (my favourite) to matte.

What an edit of products! Spot on as always :) I've saved this video for when it's time to replace my used up products. In sharing the 2022 faves, I love the ordinary serum foundation, its hydrating and very buildable (perfect for rosecia) without being greasy. Blush, my mum and I were both in agreement that Liz earle blushes should make a return with the original formula. (Been years now and we still haven't forgotten how much we loved them.) LE velvet lips and highlight combo are my multitasking go to at the moment.

My Refy brow top is also broken! You introduced me to the Minimalist and I love it! Perfect for everyday and great for travel. I also have the CT bronze and glow, and Ilia multi stick from your list. My faves this year are definitely cream blush though, Rare Beauty liquid pinches are so fun, still loving the EM cosmetics So Soft and color drops. Also really like the Rare Beauty melting blush, it doesn’t get a lot of love compared to the liquid blush but I love my nearly mauve shade and think it’s perfect for travel!

you should definitely try hourglass beauty in 2023! they have a lot of really gorgeous products. my favorites are the mascara and ambience face pallete.
I've used their Caution Extreme Lash Mascara and some lip shades in the past, they were lovely! 👏 x
the ilia skin tint made my list this year! my first time trying a very light formula like that- my only problem is that it tends to separate on my skin. i cant wait to try out their blush now!

Thank you Clare! I still love their Water-Fresh Tint too but for a different style or purpose now. That one is so barely there and incredibly light, then the No.1 Foundation has more coverage (but still sheers out beautifully) and even more glow ✨ x
Ok I’ve just ordered the Chanel number 1 foundation also in br12! My faves this year have been the Lisa Eldridge and Nars light reflecting so I’m keen to try it x

I don't wear foundation--I don't need it--but when I tried Chanel's water fresh tint I was hooked. I love smearing it all over my face.

This UK summer, I bought Makeup by Mario Transforming Skin Enhancer & I’ve panned it. Very light application. Slightly bronze so you can use it as foundation or bronzer. Think you may like it.

I really liked that limited edition By Terry CC serum too. I did get Peach Glow but it is much more pink than the Starlit colour. I ended up getting Nude Glow as well and really like that one too.

Hey Matilda, for a replacement of the Chanel Eclat Lumiere (which I also lament) I highly recommend looking into Sisley Paris Stylo Lumiere Highlighter Pen. It's been my replacement since I've stopped finding my Chanel pen for years. Enjoy!

Try Clarins Instant Concealer in the pinky shade for a brightening under eye concealer. Shocking colour range but I’ve had my tube for over eight years!

Curious what you like more about the Chanel foundation than the water fresh tint?
It's a lot more glowy Emily! The Water-Fresh Tint is so lightweight and watery so it doesn't leave as much of a sheen as the No.1 Foundation ✨ x

Does the Chanel foundation settle on dry patches? I’m very curious to try it but I’ve found that the water serum foundation with the pigment drops that you love, while hydrating, isn’t very moisturising on me and ends up settling on dry patches that I didn’t even see before. I always love your yearly favourites, can’t wait for the lip products!
Thank you Hannah! Not at all, but then I didn't have that experience with the Water-Fresh Tint either. I have dry / dehydrated skin so I always make sure it's prepped really well with a dewy moisturiser and hydrating SPF before my base makeup 👍✨ x
I recently picked up the Westman Atelier contour in Biscuit after your videos persuaded me!
But, the Merit day glow highlighting balm was a disappointment for me this year. I liked the formula well enough, but it expired on me pretty quickly and got smelling kind of gross. I know cream products expire faster, and clean beauty even more so, but for the same price point I know I can get other products that I can get better longevity out of in my collection.
Ooh what do you think of it Sydney? 😄 Uh oh, this has made me want to double check my MERIT highlighter... it never had a 'nice' scent from memory but I don't think mine has changed much luckily x
Tastes are so different. In my opinion, these blushes you mentioned here are not good at all. Yes, they are balmy, but staying power is bad, they perform poorly in hot/humid conditions and application is not easy at all. Some of them lift the products below. There are other great blushes and hope you give more a try soon.
Absolutely Alexandra, taste and style always plays a part in shaping our favourite products! 👍 I personally love creamy makeup on my dry skin and always prefer those textures over powders (even though powders do last longer and perform better in hot weather). I know creams can pick up product underneath if you wear medium/heavy base makeup, so stippling a brush or tapping your fingers might work better than applying straight from the tube. I've tried hundreds of blushes over the years so I'd be interested to hear some of your favourites! x

I really wanted to try the CT concealer! Surprised that it’s on your favorite list! How do you feel about the glitter? So many other reviews mentioned it ^^
...I've never noticed any glitter so that answers your question Tiara 😂🫣 I'll have to take a closer look at it tomorrow, but I've certainly never seen any obvious glitter or shimmer on my skin! I've only used it as a pinpoint concealer to cover spots really precisely, so maybe the glitter is more noticeable if people sheer it out or wear it under the eyes? x

Always very honest about my love of luxury and indie brands so I haven't tried any drugstore skin tints unfortunately. We don't have the same variety of brands in Australian pharmacies, but I'd love to explore more drugstore products next time I'm in the US! ✈️🇺🇸 x

I haven't tried any others like it unfortunately! I know Vichy Dermablend is popular in the UK and I used it about 10 years ago when I was studying there, but haven't been able to track it down since. Hopefully you might find some dupe suggestions online ☺️👍 x

Absolutely! If anything, for a few years people used to ask if I ever wore neutrals and browns because I love rosy, pink, peachy and red shadows so much 😄🍑 Just wore a wash of coral to a wedding recently and some Glossier lilac eyeliner to a dinner! You'll see some hints of colour in the next episode x

Chanel No 1 worst foundation ever for me. Didn’t dry down tacky feel but dried out paper powdered skin look plus polka dots no matter how I prepped or blended. Returned and second Chanel foundation fail allergic reaction to revitalize. Won’t go back to this brand again.
