My Volvo radio was going on and off hitting bumps. I bought a nice JBL Bluetooth speaker around $150 and use my Iphone to Play music. Works great. No commercials with Spotify just great sounding music.
I got the same problem how do fix this?? plzz help (BMW 1 series 118i 06) I echk the fues okey and battery okey but cant find any solution;/ after I charge the battery and pull it back not work anymore;/ Updatefinally for me it was the ISO to the radio so check that folks;)
It’s the connection you got a jump a wire over the stock radio harness harness Splice into the power wire on both sides of the radio harness So you create a bridge over the radio harness for your power wire then add a ground off your body and add it to the ground on the radio harness Basically you’re here making a bridge wire for your power and ground because the connections from Walmart or shitty for the radios they don’t get a good connection
I dont remember if this was the same radio I had or nothing but it turned out there was a bad chip in mine that caused it to not work in cold weather if it was above 60 degrees or so it would work perfectly lol wild
I'm dealing with thw same issues....sometimes I'll blow my horn and it will turn on..lol....I've ch3cked all the fuses in the car and checked the harness for continuity and everything is fine. Took the radio out of the car and rigged it to the battery and the radio turned on....this shit is frustrating 🤣🤣
I have almost the same problem and i don't understand it.the boss radio will turn off and then back on and also shut down for a while before it comes back on again and it keeps doing that , how can I solve this situation?
I have same problem with my 2015 Honda Civic Si while driving or even stopped it will turn off and on its stock radio too I need help form yall professional Lmaoo idk anything abit that stuff
On the back of the stereo where the wire harnesses that plugs into the stereo the plug on the back of the stereo could have bad solder connections on the board itself which could be causing that I would say personally check it and if you can resolder it and you might be alright
I've had the similar problem you've got and I basically took me stereo apart resold of the all the pins that connect the car to the stereo and sure enough it worked absolutely fine after that not a problem
@@NathanCamron-zs6ciwhen you fixed it, you're saying it's the power plug I figured that for my car as well (broken wire or something). Did your radio turn off like powerwise because mine will work sometimes then it won't I was figuring wiring issue of some sort but my power still stays on like the screen and button lights did that happen to you as well or just radio off?
OMG I have that same issue, I just move my antenna and it starts working, its finicky and wants to be in a certain position. Update: So I found out that my radio for some reason lost its ground connection and was trying to use the antenna's ground, so I cut the antenna's wire and expose the antenna and ground connection and soldering the cables together for a better connection to the radio.
@@kadepeter7736 like the long antenna outside the vehicle, the ground would usually be rusted for the antenna and when it shakes my radio would turn off, so i just simply took it off.
First off looks you have spliced wiring. When you have it removed check the color code for the wiring, you probably can find it after understanding that color code. My first impression was you was a weak connection between your ignition control wire. Once again that is color coated. Find that wire and make it better. My suggestion. Past the fuse box will require more work. If you get it working but doesn’t turn off after you take the key out and open the door did it wrong. Must go through the internal breaker system.
I have no clue, i have installed anew radio since then, but it still shuts off, and i have tried multiple different fuses, and checked for shorts and it still shuts off
@@carsong1126 its the plug ot the radio side but the car side when u check for power you may still get a 12 v reading because the constant vlts is still going to the radio my harley ended up being the new harness with the radio when i giggled wires it would turn off then hack on or i turned my handle bars and it would shut off then back on i ran a main ground to my battery and found the hot on the other side if the factory plug ignition hot not constant hot and ran my power from there works great now
The radio in my 96 ram will just shut off when going over a bump then turn back on shortly after

It's these cheap power end radios. After you use them a short time they go to malfunctioning. You get what you pay for.
