Wow, what a great tutorial. I stumbled across this app and wanted to know more so I searched it on UA-cam. Your title sounded promising and I it totally overfulfilled my expectations. You got me immediately drawn into the tutorial with your very positive attitude. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge the way you do. Liked and subscribed of course :-)
I wanted to get better at animating. I came across this app from a youtube animator while watching shorts and found out they used this. I downloaded it and was happy about the format but still wanted to see how to use it and came across your tutorial. Thank you for taking time out of your day to make this video for us!
So glad I found your video on UA-cam! I have been wanting to learn more about Fresco because of the live brushes, and now I know you can animate in Fresco, as well. You are an excellent teacher - I will be watching all of your videos. Thank you!
I have an iPad and am a hobby artist. I am really happy I found this your video about animating in Adobe Fresco. Your video is easy to follow and understand. I am excited to make some animations in Adobe Fresco.
Thank you Ashwini, I was stuck for weeks on this animate/motion thing, thought I had a glitch in my Adobe Fresco software. Nobody tells you (and it’s nowhere to be found in Adobe tut’s either) that you have to draw an object vertically to make it move in the right direction when aligned to path. You really made my day 🙏🏽 Great tutorials by the way, very clear explanation on every subject. Keep up the good work. And off course will follow and subscribe… 👍🏽
Yeah, the path thing is pretty hard to figure out, it took me a while to get that right as well ☺️. Thank you, I’m glad my videos are useful ☺️. If you want more animation tutorial videos, I have a playlist specifically for that, do check it out ☺️
Another great tutorial! I have tried Motion a few times since the update (a lot of trial and error!) and it’s starting to make more sense now. Thanks for explaining about using and animating multiple layers, and keeping the number of frames the same! ❤️
I’m glad you learned something from the video! First time when I tried to work with it, I was so confused because there was only 1 layer for each animated object (was used to working with procreate with animation) 😂. But this setup is definitely more intuitive and a lot easier to use! Hope you are having fun with the new update 😀
very helpful tutorial. . . thanks for sharing. . can you make a tutorial animation that does not loop. one scene into another in the same file? or do we need to create a new file to do that? thanks
Thank you for that great tutorial! I have done a lot of onion skin animation in Photoshop and Animate, but never tried Fresco. You make it very clear what the program can do. I will try that tonight!
I just started using Adobe Fresco recently. I must say, I’m quite enjoying the animation features. It’s kind of addictive, yet therapeutic at the same time. Also 1+ subbed ✌️
Hi! I definitely hearted your comment because I remember doing it 😀. I have no idea why it would go away like that! And thank you for leaving a comment, I love that people enjoy Adobe Fresco, especially the animation part of it ☺️
Imagine you gave 2 parts in your animation: 1. A growing plant (4 frames), 2.a blooming flower (5 frames). The 4th frame of the plant part is a full grown plant. The 5the frame of the flower is a flower in full bloom. When you run the animation, it reaches the 5th frame of the flower, but there is no 5th frame in plant part. So it takes the 1st frame of the plant part, which is a baby plant. Now the animation is out of sync! Hope that makes sense ☺️
Hi, Well.explained♥️. My question is - If I want that bee to fly and come sit on the flower along a motion path (pause) and then take off again in a different motion path, how can I approach that? 😅
Ah! Tricky! I’m still learning the tool, but I think you can separate the bee animation into 2 parts. 1 st one has path only till it sits on the flower, the second one has path starting from the flower. Will have to experiment a bit with the settings. BUT, you can always choose to animate it NOT using the path feature and it will be super simple to do that 😀
@@printmesomecolor Yea it will be easier to do frame by frame I guess. A bit confusing when you turn on the 'show motion path as frames' option and try to adjust the total frame lengths 😅 Hope they will add some more small features to this. It'll be great to create short story telling gifs/loops.
when i saw there was an update i just thought it fixed a bug or something, so i updated it without thinking.then i went to draw something, i saw the animation feature and my mind went on a trip
Great video. I just did my first animation and then........ OMG. You can't export as a video file? EDIT . Oops my bad, tap motion in the export settings.
What if I want to create an animation where all objects don't show/work at the same time. For example, in this illustration, first I would want the plant growing along with the clouds moving and later I would want to remove the plant and only have the bees and the cloud. Is that possible?

What? You hearted my comment and then removed it within 20 minutes? What a tease.

@printmesomecolor 😅👍It's all good. I'm sure it was just a UA-cam thing.
really thank U for your tutorial .. it helps a lot .. thank U

Why we have to choose only multiples of frames in the next layer??

Do you use adobe animate ? And if you do how do u loop objects
Your voice vry attractive n appealing
Hi, Please make few more motion videos
Definitely ☺️
Are layers in adobe fresco when animation unlimited?
FlipaFlip, Toonsquid is the same app or its advance then Fresco..?
when i saw there was an update i just thought it fixed a bug or something, so i updated it without thinking.then i went to draw something, i saw the animation feature and my mind went on a trip
😀😀 it’s a feature I have been waiting for ages and I’m glad it’s here!
Great video. I just did my first animation and then........ OMG. You can't export as a video file? EDIT . Oops my bad, tap motion in the export settings.
😀 This update would have been a huge fail if they didn’t have a video export !
Is 2d animation possible in fresco ?
How to export it ?
I can’t find this feature on my iphone
I think it’s not available on iPhone
What if I want to create an animation where all objects don't show/work at the same time. For example, in this illustration, first I would want the plant growing along with the clouds moving and later I would want to remove the plant and only have the bees and the cloud. Is that possible?
Yes it’s possible. For the section where you don’t want the plants to show up - Go to the plant animation frames and add empty frames in the end.
@@printmesomecolor sure thanks. Will try this out
@@printmesomecolor when I draw on a new layer, it gets back on the first frame of the previous layer.
Can we use Adobe fresco in Ipad ?
Of course! I use it on my iPad
@@printmesomecolor okay thank you 😇
How do you export the animation???
It’s mentioned in the video.. at 21:30 I think.
I don’t have this feature, how do I get it because it doesn’t need an update
What device are you using?
@@printmesomecolor IPhone
Apparently it’s still not available on iPhone
@@printmesomecolor sad
They might roll it out for iPhone soon
Is there way to export transparent gif in fresco?
Hi! I tried hiding the background and exporting as a gif, but it still seems to have a background.. will have to check a bit more!
No homo
tNice tutorials is absolutely horrific, i can’t process tNice tutorials
