Awesome stuff dude. It was great meeting you. I still need to send you some pictures of the games room haha. Keep doing what you're doing man. Appreciate you!
Same here Max. Thank you for making my day
The box art is so much better in Japan.
I've been to Akihabara in 2018. I'm going for a full loose cartridge classic Gameboy collection and at Retro Game Camp a bought a lot :) I really liked that they spoke English a bit and that they marked all the cartrdiges that contain a battery with a vignette when battery was replaced. I'm planning to go back next spring :)
Great stuff, really cool meeting a viewer all the way from Australia! I definitely want to go to Tokyo One Day!
yup, I've been to this store. Akihabara is my must go to city every time we visit. Absolutely love Japan.
These Japan videos are some your best work. I look forward to seeing what else you found game hunting.
So awesome, meet a fan of channel and then you include him in big part of video. Definitely made his trip even better I’m sure. Your class act man.
So much Awesomeness in this video, Keep em comin!
I love this video Steve. Glad you found some great games and met some people from the tube! I still look forward to your videos and glad when I see your face. I'm right here dude!
Great travel video and game footage! Always nice to see different locations!
Awesome video man 😎!
Awesome video man. I love fighting games too.
Love retro game camp easy to find very small “tight” shop but full of bargains
Trader and super potato a little more expensive but full of retro goodness !!!!
I can’t wait to see how the future continues in success for you 🙏
I could spend literally hours looking at all these stores in Japan. I miss going to Akiba and Sunshine City in Tokyo the most. Great pick ups btw!
Loved the art on all those Famicom Mega Man Games, loved seeing all the PSP games and of course the Sega Saturn games. Japan got so many DBZ games we just didn't get! That downstairs arcade was dope...but that "educational" video was WILD! So cool you got to meet one of your subscribers in a different country. The Sailor Moon figures look great. Looks like you had a fun day that day!
Shout out to the slipknot Hoodie. Rock on!!
I'd be like a kid in a candy store at those shops. I'm hoping that I can make a trip to Japan in the next couple of years but I fear it will bankrupt me lol.
Great video love it , your a cool dude and ur passion for gaming is amazing.
Very cool seeing you meet fans. And I approve of the shirt selection 🙌.
Thanks my brother
I would love to go to Japan 😊 looks like a dream ❤
Good stuff again and well edited. Apart from Japan exclusive games, I'd like the original Japanese Dark Souls PS3 in my collection just for the cover art. None of the games you got, I'm not super familiar with except for Okami, that's dope!
13:04 had me dying, brother.
Education
Hey man I have that green zelda shirt too. Nice lol
I'm glad that you were able to go to Japan Mr. Wright way they will forever continue to have the best arcades and retro game stores in the world something you cannot find back in America no wonder People who live back there are always saying physical media is dying because they've never been to a country like Japan before. I need to go to Japan and get some games to I'll go broke LOL😆😆
This video made me wanna be there!!! 😞💪🏿
Those Sengoku Basara games 😭😭😭😭 I will go to Japan in december, I really hope that I can get some
Megaman 7 looks great. I will play it one day. The gundam game looks good. I have that one, but haven't played it yet. Its Gundam Journey to Jabaru. I love the DDR games. They are even great on the controller without the dance pad. I heard about Rage Racer being good. Hot shots golf, a great game too.
Doing Japan , the Wright way
with how public the ads are for gaming in japan i would think seems like gaming is more accepted in japan main stream then the u.s to this day gaming in u.s by many people is consider a activity for the kids
Aw man you were literally in video game heaven. When I go to Japan it'll have to take an entire army to make me leave. I have ajapanese ps3 game that I've been dying to play and I just foundnout there's a fan translation english patch available
You gotta get that dragon quest slime 2ds XL. Much cheaper than importing
I was there last month and I was really disappointed in Akihabara was expecting a video game mecca with back-to-back video game stores but it was full of schoolgirls trying to get you to eat noodles. I only managed to find Super Potato which was in a little hole where you had to use the elevator :( I should have done my homework before going there, and with my 2 young kids who were tired from all the walking, it wasn't a great day.

Hi Mr.Wright, nice pick ups and informative about the prices. What is the name of track at the end of video after 27:00?
HI Steve :) really enjoyed this video. I would love to go to Japan so much. Did you have any sushi while you were there?
Thanks and no as I eat so much here
Love the art cover on all the games I’m at the Xbox og covers so nice. Isn’t all the Xbox og games region locked? I know a few Xbox 360 are region free.
Lots of stores in that area you didn't visit. Super potato, mandarake, friends, Suragaya. All within 6 mins walk of trader. Trader is good though.
Bruh.. was are you assuming??? I got so many video coming this month 🤦🏾♂️ stop assuming
@@MrWrightWay why the abrupt tone in your words? I was just letting you know there are other shops nearby. You sound a bit too offensive for me. This is my first time looking at your videos and only got my attention because it's in akihabara. Good luck with the rest of your videos.
For the see anything you like, I like the multi colored snes controller. I would have to do some research on Japanese games/systems or you can keep reminding the audience what systems are region free. You said the PS3 is region free which is good in case people come across Japanese games. It also really helps if its a game that you don't really need to read Japanese to play the game. I don't think the PS2 is region free. I don't know what you mean by PS2 games are easy to translate. Even if it is, do you mean there are options in the game menus to change language?
Greetings brother
Why you didn’t visit hard off or book off store they are just like a thrift store in Japan awesome video
I have more videos coming this month from Japan and that was one of them
@@MrWrightWay niceeeee
pc engine core i need to get!
lmao at 13:07
cute girls, happy ending. hellz ya
music in your video is too loud. Cool Akihabara browsing though!
So uh...funny story regarding japan in a way. From ebay i had purchased Dragonball raging blast for the ps3 and well i failed to realize or notice i was the japanese edition....Order finally arrives and well i got 3 copies of Raging blast for ps3...3 of them...what am i supposed to do with them.
I miss game hunting in Japan. You really don't know what you will find
me too
@@MrWrightWay Nice video! I know you picked up some Vita stuff on your visit. Japan has so many Vita games that never made their way to the States
Can’t wait to go back! Did you buy any of the Japanese only games? 😊
I did
Nice! I’m going to see if I can find any PS4 games. We love this console! 🫶🏽
sengoku basara on ps3 and guilty gear on ps3 id want
Akihabara has two large stores selling sex products. Japanese dress conservatively but don't have issues with cute/pretty anime girls. Which is the opposite of what I have been seeing in north america. Sexy is bad but ugly characters in games is good.
Uhh everything is organized and sorted out great in stores please try to avoid touching and moving everything and leaving it a mess. Ty 😅
But you have a PIG is your profile and stop making Weird comments.
Prices converted plus if to big you ship it home?
Huh ?
Can you buy stuff and ship it to yourself back to the States is that a cheaper way to go then to carry it with you back on the plane?
I think it’s better to bring extra bags
Shipping for US to JP is ok. Reverse is not cost effective. Been living here 12 years. Especially after Covid started, shipping back home got expensive, I don’t do it anymore.
ayoo do you have link or qr code for that sussy video? for research purposes only. nvm I found it HAHAHA
Lol
was there 3 weeks ago - the prices have exploded once again and buying retro games there is just bs at the moment....
ofc if you look for low level PS2 etc. games it is still reasonable.
but heavy hitters for NG or PC Engine are crazy right now. even shovelware titles that cost like 2000 yen in the past are now 10k+ showcase titles...
Anytime I see anyone talk a expensive game it’s always the “heavy hitters” and “most desirable” why is that?
@@MrWrightWay you mean the terms? dunno why those somewhat got established among people
The local BookOff was selling SNES Super Mario World for about $3 and CIB Mario Kart for $10. Retro games spans a vast universe. I got Ninja Gaiden CIB New for OG Xbox like 2 months ago for ¥110. Just depends on what you’re looking for.
@@midwestdawg83 well I guess congratz to that. but as you said - it depends what you're looking for ofc.
rather cheapish retro games that cost max around 1000 yen are still rather cheap and available.
however if you're looking for systems like the Neo Geo, PC Engine or rare Famicom games. or even niche systems like Japanese retro computers...
those systems had ridiculous price jumps in the past years.
same with the Mega Drive.
a lot of PC Engine titles that cost between 2000-7000 Yen like 4-6 yeats ago cost now anywhere between 10-30.000 Yen. Which is ridiculous tbh.
ofc it also depends on the titles.
I have to ask *Mr. Wright Way* why would you game hunt in japan? not that theres anything wrong with that.
???
Is your ps2 modded to play Japanese games?
Yes it is
What game is that there playing
Street fighter
Fire Phil Spencer . I did not like what he said in his XCAST interview .
Buy yourself a gimble
I have one but I didn’t want to use it, but how are you giving advice with your videos are hot garbage TRASH ??? Lol that don’t add up my dude!
UA-camrs have ruined game hunting in Japan.
and TBH they are ruining everything that was good about Japan.
Nothing personal against this Chanel.
I’m talking about ALL UA-camrs and social media “influencers”.
Just my rant.
You give ALL OF US too much power lol. No one hasn’t ruined anything. This is stupid ass comment without doing any kind of research. You do know have cell phones, stores can look up prices, eBay and other stuff .
Stop being a crybaby!!
I see a game in PSP game only jap release a Vs battle the character transporm futuristic vehicles game is unique I wish I can go to Japan to find it
