Anthony not only that but the perks are also upgradeable as well. Really stoked to see they didn’t go backwards with zombies, I was really worried they were just gonna go back to basics after all the criticism of the new stuff in bo4 but they didn’t they actually made it even more different. I’m actually shocked they had the balls to do that

I think that this will just be a start up map for the new story... they don't seem to pay alot of attention to the 4 playable characters. They usually do that in the first trailer. My guess is that we're going to be very surprised in the coming maps.
You can play as any multiplayer operator in zombies now, so that's why they didn't focus on the characters.

@Alam Velasco yea obviously he's talking about the story/universe but there's no way primis will make an a appearance. He's talking about the zombies because that's from the aether storyline and like craig said "he hoped to make a new world without zombies....well he was half right" this means that nikolai failed from getting rid of everything hence why there are still zombies. It's a running gag in zombies that the zombies never stay dead so it only makes sense

To me it gets boring alot when going for high rounds on the old cod games especially bo3 because i have nothing to grind for now i have many reasons to grind manly for battle pass and leveling up my gun to make it op asf is the right innovation.

Ryebread 28 the free DLC isn’t worrying in my opinion, Fortnite was free and it was fun and good until Epic added so much that the game wasn’t fun anymore and became bad imo, also spending $40 on a DLC pack for 1 zombies map that could be a hit or miss isn’t good and looses you the fanbase

I see some people complaining about how you can spawn in with a loadout and there making it a way bigger deal than I think it should be and I wanna say why I think it won't be a problem. So as they also announced there will be weapon rarities of some sort so the way I'm imaging it is that no matter what weapon you spawn in with it will be like a grey rarity and no matter the gun it will be scaled down to what a pistol would be so either way the gun won't be useful for very long if you don't PAP, I feel like people are thinking they'll just be able to spawn with a PPSH and it will last them like all game and make the game too easy on early rounds which I don't think will be the case. The other thing I see a lot of people crying about is the fact that you'll be able to exfil to end the game instead of just dying and again I think this is something that will be fine I don't think it's something that will ever be required but just there as a way alternative way to play or just to use as a way to end the game instead of killing yourself and I think those extra rounds that you have to do once you call for the extraction could make for some very entertaining videos or challenges because apparently, those rounds are gonna be way more intense and challenging. My biggest worry is the killstreaks I really don't like the sound of that but who knows maybe they found a cool way to incorporate them we'll just have to wait and find out

I agree with everything you said. I’m personally very open-minded when it comes to zombies, and I love innovation. I’ve managed to find something good about every map they’ve ever released. My only concern is how much the game could crash. Having your game just stop working is just the biggest “oof” moment in Zombies. I want the game to be functioning and running way more smoothly than Black Ops 4 and even Black Ops 3 did.

I can see what you mean with the loadouts. Even tho you can get mps or other guns into round one, i will start with a pistol for that good feeling of starting week and ending strong. Even tho the weapons are weak like pistols, it would not feel as good as having a pistol as a starter weapon in my opinion

pp man I’ll be fine if they bring back old characters in a new universe as long as they don’t tie the canons together, I don’t want a new universe of zombies to be connected to the terrible bo4 end basically telling us that they failed to seal the dark aether.
On one hand it’d be cool to see some of the old crew return in some way, but in the other hand I fear it would feel forced or like a purely fan-service thing. If they do bring anyone back I hope it at least is in a way that is tasteful and actually makes sense to the story, however maybe the old crew should just stay dead and actually let a new chapter begin.

This new zombies is looking very good in my opinion, i like that theyre focusing on fun and replayability instead of easter eggs like BO4.
God I just hope we can all have fun playing it, would be a shame if the game dies out without getting to its final dlc cycle like bo4. I just wanna have fun on zombies again with my dad

Load outs are nice if they work like bo3 but they’re bad it they let you spawn in with any weapon like WW2 and bo4
Glctc Thnkr I think they’re gonna make it so you can choose between a few ars or smgs or whatever but not every gun. they’ll most likely be weak guns aswell. I don’t really like the idea of loadouts when you spawn either but if they do it correctly then it could be good. It also makes sense because you’re going in there as a military group sent by weaver and i don’t think they’d go there with just a pistol if they knew there might be zombies you know.
Fearrr yeah but primis and all them get all these guns from other maps then as soon as a new maps starts they only got a pistol, it don’t make sense realistically but progression and video game wise it makes the most sense

The disappointment when I actually got to play Cold War zombies was as intense as the hype when I saw this trailer. It lacked any character and just felt like any other game mode with perks thrown in. Such a shame.

Loadouts in zombies takes away from the classic progression of gaining points slowly to buy doors and make your way through the map. Same thing happened with BO4.

the only thing thats gonna suck about this for me is that there is no longer a zombies crew now its just random multiplayer operators

this ties up a lot actually. I wouldn't be surprised to see weapons like Thundergun and Raygun come back to zombies. On Call of Duty: WAW campaign on one of the missions you were able to summon the Raygun, and on Call of Duty: BO campaign you were able to find the Thundergun. They've shown us leaks of the universe tied together and this is when the world is revealed.
