I would totally agree with the statements on the Dominator SS, as I have one, it’s very uncomfortable to ride but always commands a presence whenever & wherever I ride it.
@@NortonUnofficial Very special bike that - even more awesome with the high bars. Love it. Hope Norton goes from strength to strength. Keep making the vids. Heading to Baffle Haus for lunch on Monday 7th August - thanks - didn't know it existed until I saw your vids!
@@NortonUnofficial personally I’m pretty unhappy with TVS. But I also live in the USA. You’ll have a better chance finding a Donington or TVS commando in your neck of the woods.
Hi great question and that’s given me an idea for a video on the topic, I can wheel my dominator and Commando out and do a side by side walkaround of both bikes. Top of my head, the fuel tank is different, as is the swingarm and the Domi has a monoshock vs the twin shocks of the Commando. Domi’s typically have the straight through megaphone pipes, and the rear seat unit is very different too. The seat is higher on the Domi than the Commando. Dominators are rarer and more expensive.
You lucky man owning one I thought my MV Dragster RR was a great looking bike but this thing IMO is better. I’d love to get my hands on one. I saw one in original grate going for 40k pounds so to me in Aus is around 75k AUD Need a second job
@@NortonUnofficial I wouldn't be buying something like that for comfort. I'd probably get a custom Tan leather seat made, (similar to the seat on a CCM Spitfire,) just so I don't get piles, but it's about the looks and that sound!!
The Dominator SS is far better with no bull electronic aids and unnecessary expensive rubbish. Well done to Norton for making this beautiful bike. Keep them simple and cheaper with basic forks and normal tank. They need to have a price of around £14k maximum and simple technology so us real working class bikers can possibly one day have bikes that are simpler, reliable we can maintain ourselves rather than have headaches with electronic engine management like on the KTM 890 that costs an arm and a leg for mechanics, spares and electronic diagnostic stuff to possibly fix and if Norton have Suzuki, Yamaha or Honda build quality and QC they will sell by the shedload.
The bike is uncomfortable; the performance is not great. The finish on the bike is terrible. The foam padding for the seat comes away in hot weather and the tank decal is stuck on. Crazy when you have such a beautiful looking tank. Overall, the bike is a visual treat and only comes alive when you have the megaphone exhausts. Sadly, they are way too loud for the road, but they sound like some fire-breathing monster. It is a symphony of the most amazing automotive sounds.

Thanks for your comments. Yes the Domi always grabs the attention. Ride safe.
Stunning looking bike . I could spend hours just looking at it , that's truly an artistic creation on wheels
Thank you for your comments, I do love walking into the garage and seeing mine parked up. Though I'd much rather be riding it! Cheers
Excellent video mate.

I own a Dominator Naked and a Commando SF. I love them both, but the Naked is my absolute favorite
I want to get a Commando to go with the Domi too. Undecided whether to go for a new TVS one or a used Donnington one

The Alloy gas tank is the best shape I have never seen 🤠
and the sound is very race sounding. vary cool British bike. 😎
I love mine, it's a real head turner
could you explain what's the difference between the Dominator and Commando? I honestly don't know,... does it have a different frame?

I wonder if any made it to Australia
If you are a lucky owner and live in Melbourne I’d love to see it in the flesh
If all theses riders need all the extras perhaps they should get a car ,a bike is about the excitement
What an amazing sound. Its the best engine with pushrods.
I love it too, thanks for your comment. Cheers. Jonathan

I love MV too, I had a Tusismo Veloce. Would love a Dragster, they look amazing
I sooo want this bike, or the streetfighter version.
It is very cool. Not very comfortable to ride though!!

Yer they look good but is the engine any good
No! Damn thing seized today on the motorway. It’s not going anywhere. Could be gearbox though. 😞
I love my no. 73 SS
Love my Dominator Naked too. Always gets lots of attention
