Detroit is good if your in your 20s. Grand Rapids is good if you're in 30s.

If you don't have a car in Detroit it will be tough unless you live and work in the same area.

If you want, diversity culture good food minimal racism, minimal bs move to the Detroit area the culture, the variety of people, the variety of things the variety of resources you are not gonna find in Grand Rapids if you want Simple very black-and-white moved to the west Grand Rapids segregated a lot of underlying intentions and trust and believe it’s like night and day
