Hulk is the best b&m sit down
Its the most famous b&m coaster in the world. Its just that in the coaster community it isnt talking about much
I found it overrated, if anything. My rides were completely forceless
I’ve only ridden Hulk and Kumba and I definitely preferred Hulk. While Kumba’s hell role is amazing, it did make me feel nauseous while Hulk is fine for me
I rode the early smooth OG Hulk. rough OG Hulk, and the new Hulk. Hulk has some slight headbanging on the restraints, but nothing major; smooth enough, and tons better than the headache old Hulk. Hulk's onboard audio is perfection; the music went with every element.
Finally, someone who understands the glorious creation that is Rip Ride Rockit
I never understood the hate thrown at Rip Ride Rocket over the years. I've had a blast every time I've ridden it - great airtime, good forces, and an insane selection of secret songs to make each ride interesting. Glad to see it in your top 30!
You aren’t alone I went on it for my senior trip a couple years ago and thought it was awesome I don’t get where the hate comes from
The hate comes cause of those brakes. When the park is full there are slight brakes thus not feeling any air time or barely any forces. But when the park is pretty empty the trains just go through those brake sections without( I believe) almost no braking, This is when you feel airtime and the gforces on that turn after going through the building.

“Stronger” is a great choice, but “Kickstart My Heart” is my favorite for the ride.
Also I was on it once when the speakers weren’t working and it’s such a different, inferior experience
Same with Hulk, not 1/2 as fun without the soundtrack.

YES, Rip Ride Rockit is so underrated and the airtime on that thing is crazy. Also the songs on the secret song list are slept on a lot. 3 of my personal favs are #711, #715, and #123

@@RJ-tn9rl personally, I think the right side is better. Because your closest to the ground/water when the car dips to the side. Your practically upside down when it does it. That being said, the left side is fun too, because you're being flung more when the train twists, so it feels like you're going to be flung out of your seat into the water.
@@RJ-tn9rl I’ve ridden all four seats in the back row, and the back-left outshines all of them by a country mile. You get so much more whip over both of the Stengel dives and the restraints make your upper body feel completely exposed.
Kind of unrelated but I was at Hersheypark the other day and this dude rode skyrush over 40 times in that one day. He definitely needed to get his legs amputated after that

Imagine not waiting an hour for a kiddie coaster in a park full of more fun attractions. Who cares there's two intamins and a b&m when you can ride a coaster next to a six year old

Right? I just went to Six Flags Great America for my second time a couple weeks ago and I still hadn't got on Vertical Velocity, The Dark Knight, Whizzer, or Maxx Force. And I only got the one new credit - Maxx Force. The crowds were nuts the day I went and I have to drive 5.5 hours to get to the park - I'm not spending my first coaster trip of the year waiting for a clone (I've ridden Steel Venom), a dark ride family coaster, and a classic (I respect the ride but I'm an adrenaline junkie). I'll get em' next time as I have a season pass. Gotta make the most of your time at packed parks.

1) Rockit’s smoothness really varies between trains.
2) On Hagrid’s I vastly prefer bike over sidecar, but that sweeping turn over the water in the sidecar is *chef’s kiss*
3) When I was there last week Hulk was running as rough as the OG track in the back half. The first half was still butter smooth.
I actually rode Rip Ride Rocket in the front during horror nights in 2019, but had the exact same thoughts. The non inverting loop yeeted me way more than I thought, and the ride picked up speed more than I thought it would off those brake runs. I wish I could share your enthusiasm for the hulk tho. I remember finding it a lot more forceful before the retrack, last time I found it pretty lackluster
I'm happy I'm not the only person who puts rip ride rockit over hulk. That ride is awesome and that non inverting loop is out of control.
You can get some pretty rough rides on it though, and my sister grayed out on it once, which was hilarious because we watched it happen on the video after the ride.
I still regret not buying that video.
If i were ever to ride during HHN, I would probably pick #706 Just One Fix
I love rip ride rockit but hulk is incredible. I went before velocicoaster but I have gone to BGT and sea world Orlando, and to me, hulk was the best coaster in Florida. I’m not even a crazy positive g fan, I just find everything about it to be incredible
Just want to throw a sidenote (coming from a UOAP passholder for almost 20 years) if you do Pteradon Flyers you have to have a child with you that is tall enough to ride, otherwise you won’t be able to ride. Or when there’s a UOAP night and you get to ride by yourself
Edit I also wanna say a few things about Hulk. Yes between 2012-2015 it did get rough and I mean the infamous rattle and just beat you up a bit. Also you can ask TM’s at UO about getting footage of the queue and they should allow it.

While walking through the metal detectors outside Rip Ride Rockit, you must've accidentally caused a spontaneous rift in space-time which resulted in you being transported to an alternate dimension where it's a good ride. At least that's my working theory.

Yes, love that you loved Gringotts! Such a great ride experience. I’m a Universal veteran and know when to catch the ride at a low wait, and it’s always worth it. I’m a thrill junkie, but something about Gringotts is just so much fun all around.
Great video. I gotta return back to Universal one day (I went when I was a little kid), Universal genuinely looks like it has one of the best coaster collections in the Southeast. Also, as a Kanye fan myself, it’s nice that you chose Stronger on the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, as that song is a banger.
I love that you enjoyed Rip Ride Rocket! I enjoyed it when I rode it 4 years ago and was really surprised when ALL rollercoaster enthusiast hated it. It is such an underrated rollercoaster
Finally, someone that realizes just how underrated HRRR is! It's actually a really good ride once you get rid of the negative mindset people created around it. Just enjoy it for what it is; its not perfect, but it definitely doesn't deserve the hate that it gets in my opinion
My first trip there was a month ago. Loved it. The over the water finale on Veliocicoaster was AWESOME. Also rode Rip ride rocket as the last ride of the night. It was dark and a great night ride!

With Hagrids it really is all about the experience. Like personally as a huge Potter fan, this thing shot up into my top five out of like eighty

I can confirm a lot of what you say about rip ride rockit is true! The non inverting loop is bonkers and in the front half you get airtime going up into every break run, and in the back half you get it going down. I rode it three times in three different rows and was very impressed despite a bit of shakiness here and there
The Hulk is one of my favorite coasters. Intensity and and a quick pop of airtime after the mid course when I rode it last. It’s one of the most re rideable coasters I’ve ever been on
i totally agree with the Hollywood rip ride rocket opinion. I did the front row twice and i loved the non inverted loop and that helix that goes trough the buildings. When i rode hulk in the front row i was a bit disappointed but that was 3 years go so I need to re ride that. I haven't rode velocicoaster and Hagrid's yet but i can't wait to
This kind of makes me miss working at Universal granted it was a college job. I remember if I got to work early or had an opening shift I would sneak back into the park and ride the Hulk, Rockit, or Dragons. You definitely got the magic ride on Rockit because everytime I rode it, I would always have a headache afterwards.

I’m so happy someone else loves HRRR, the airtime you get going in and out of the brake runs are awesome, I greyed out on both intense moments, and the non inverting loop is great. I got two rides (1 in the front) and the airtime is so good. I still think it’s pretty smooth and don’t understand the hate and the complaints about the “roughness”
Yeah, the airtime is great, I did prefer the front, I got 2 rides one in the very back and the second row, they both have their ups and downs with the noninverting loop airtime in the back, but I did find it a tad bit rough, but not something that would ruin the ride, the second row was smooth.
HRRR is one of the most underrated coasters in the community. Don’t get me wrong. I’ve gotten bad runs and good runs. But it’s such an airtime machine that I can ignore the rattle. I have been a Universal passholder for like 5 years now and it’s one I refuse to miss. I always have to hit it.
Man, I had so much pure fun on rip ride rockit. Only scary part for me was the lift hill, but everywhere else I was having a great old time, coming from someone who’s terrified of coasters.

Universal (as well as Seaworld) is now my home park (previously SFMM) and I LOVE being able to go whenever I want. I really think all of their coasters are great for their own reasons and agree that a lot of them are underrated, especially Rip Ride Rockit! I REALLY don't see what everyone's complaint is about this ride! Unique elements, floater and ejector airtime, intensity, and on-board audio all in one ride. There are some parks that don't have all of that in their entire LINEUP! Just went back today to ride Velocicoaster again! Love your videos and envy your editing skills lol.
I got to meet some Orlando locals and its amazing they can just pop into all these parks whenever they want

After my Dec 2020 ride on RRR I remember thinking, man, Chris would love this thing for all the airtime! Turns out I’m right.
Rip Ride Rockit is my favorite at the resort, having been denied a ride on Velocicoaster. It has quite a rattle in rows 3 & 6, so you must be immune to rattles. Row 1 is definitely where it's at on this ride. The ejector going into all 473 brake runs is amazing! I don't rank it quite as high as you do, but I love it. I have Hagrids in about the exact same spot as you. Hulk's rattle bothered me a little, but I still enjoyed getting several rides during early entry.
I agree with pretty much everything you said except for Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket 😂 I remember riding it when it first came out and it was awesome! I come back in 2019 expecting it to be really fun but I got mind-eraser levels of head banging. Maybe I was on a wheel seat who knows lol

Central Floridian passholder here. Very glad you appreciate Rip Ride RockIt! Shocked at how high you rated it but not mad about it at all. Kinda sad to see how low Mummy was ranked here I absolutely love that ride especially with it being lower than Gringotts, but glad you had a good ride on it tho! Also regardless of ranks you seem to enjoy all of them and that’s great! I have a hard time ranking them myself, for me from top to bottom might be Velocicoaster, Hulk, Hagrids, Mummy, RipRide, Gringotts. I really love all of those except Gringotts, which I don’t hate Gringotts, just doesn’t touch me like the rest. Ripride deserves so much more love.
8:40 Dude I so agree. I rode Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket on Halloween Horror Nights and it was nothing but ejector. I had a super lose restraints by sliding forward in seat during lapbar check then sliding back. I thought it was fantastic. I'm with you on that one. It does have a little rattle/shuffle here and there but it's nothing.

Yeah... I think you rode "The Rockit" at the right seat, at the right time, in a good mood! I've never been that lucky. On the other hand, I never had a bad ride at the best coaster in the world: SkyRush!
The only coaster I've ridden there was The Mummy. For the lockers, they said I would have to scan my ticket to open it, but the only copy of my ticket I had was on my phone, so no Hulk or Rip-Ride Rockit. Going back in August, and super stoked to not only check out Velocicoaster and Hagrid's, but also the ones I missed before
I'm sorry the lines were so long... we went in December and the longest lines were 20 minutes! Great to hear you liked the coasters, they're really good! Not sure if anyone cares, but I'll do a "mini review" for them:
Hagrid's -- I really love this fun and exciting ride! 7 launches is great, the theming is awesome, it has fun elements like the spike and drop track, and you ride in a motorbike! (Well, if you don't get the sidecar) It doesn't go over 50 mph, but it feels faster with those rapid turns. My first ride was in January last year and we waited 75 minutes and I got to ride it at night, which is a whole different experience! The only thing missing for me is airtime, but I don't care, because it's still so good. I sadly never got to ride Dueling Dragons, but the spirit (or metal) of them lives on inside Hagrid's! Ranking: 4/58
Escape from Gringotts -- This one is meant to be a dark ride, with a bit of coaster in it. I use the term "technically a roller coaster." But the tilt track, "launches," turning, and drop in the dark are still some fun elements. The story is really good and the animations are top-notch. I don't know much about Harry Potter but it was still a super fun experience! That line goes forever, doesn't it? Ranking: 16/58
Mummy -- What do you get when you combine Rock 'n' Roller Coaster with a Mummy-themed dark ride? This! The theming is great as usual, and the story is fun too. You've got a backwards section, fire, turntable, thematics, a launched lift hill, turns in the dark, a fake ending, and that steep second drop! It may not be super thrilling, but it doesn't have to be to be great. Ranking: 13/58
Incredible Hulk -- Thank you! I've ridden Kumba and it's unbearably rough. Even if it wasn't, Hulk would still be better. 7 inversions is always a big boast for a coaster, and every inversion on the Hulk delivers. The zero-g roll out of the launch and the first vertical loop have to be my favorites. The launch is pretty sick, too. I'm not the biggest fan of positive g's, but this ride makes me like them more each time I ride it! The on-board soundtrack also adds to the "Incredibleness." Also, it's very smooth (for now). Ranking: 5/58
Rip Ride Rockit -- This ride is weird. No inversions, vertical lift but no vertical drop, non-inverting loop, choice of music, and sections with random things. But I like weird rides! The selection of music is really cool, the vertical lift is crazy, the drop is amazing, the non-inverting loop is wacky, the helices are very intense, and the other drops, hops, and pops are fun too! One time I rode it, it was somewhat rattly (not near Kumba level though), but every other time, it was butter smooth. Underrated for sure! Ranking: 14/58
VelociCoaster -- Haven't rode it yet, and probably won't get to for a while. Looks like it could be better than Hagrid's for me, and maybe even my new #1 (beating Lightning Rod), but we'll see...
Pteranodon Flyers -- Haven't rode it, you actually can't ride it unless you have a kid with you. Go figure! Looks like it provides great views.
Flight of the Hippogriff -- Pretty fun, actually. It gets long lines on busy days but I've rode it several times when there's only been a

Best part of Rip Ride Rocket is the lift hill, picking a song, and the view. The rest is just ok.
OG Dueling dragons if it still existed would still remain unmatched top coaster... Incredible ride

Agree with you about RipRideRocket. Its one of my top 10 favorites and I've never had a rough ride despite 20ish rides on it. But my parents said it was rough for them. So who knows.

Disagree with you bout Gringotts > The Mummy. Gringotts was disappointing for me both times. (I liked the queue better than the ride) but I absolutely love The Mummy.

I love all these coasters! Islands is my favorite theme park, Gringotts is my favorite ride at Studios, Hagrid’s and Velocicoaster is my favorite ride at Islands, and I just love These parks so much! Dueling Dragons just wasn’t as thrilling to me, and the ride was way to short.
Universal Team Members are amazing! Train gets in and out of the station at lightning speeds! I like the moving stations at Rip Ride Rocket and Hagrids.

I remember my family went in 2014 right when the gringots ride opened. We arrived before rope drop, went right to the Alley and the line for Gringots was already 5-6 hours long and stretched out the alley entrance. We did not ride it.

Went to Universal for the second year in a row and this time I chose to risk the rough ride on Rip Ride Rocket, chose to wait in line for Hypogriff and chose to risk the possible nausea people often complain about on the Simpsons ride. And I am very glad I did all three.
The reports of the roughness on Rip Ride are GREATLY exaggerated and the coaster is an absolute blast! That lift hill is intense and the first drop and the loop are amazing. The girl I was paired up with to ride it from the single rider line had a blast on it and so did I. Don't believe the reports of roughness for the rocket. Maybe those people didn't put their head against the seat back like you are supposed to...
Flight of the Hypogriff was a pleasant surprise. I haven't ridden a junior coaster since I was in my teens and this one was quite fun. The theming is nice too. It wouldn't be worth an extremely long line but if the line isn't to bad it's a fun little diversion.
The Simpsons ride while not a coaster was a blast! The show stopped having writing as good as what's in this ride a LONG LONG time ago and it's a very immersive experience. It's well worth the time in line.
Velocicoaster remains the best coaster I've ever ridden, Hulk remains an outstanding B&M sit down. Not sure I agree about it being better than Kumba but it's a great coaster. Ride ops on Hulk are asses about the loose item rule. It was the only coaster or ride I went on where they bellyached about my fanny pack (no problem on Rip Ride, Mummy, Velocicoaster, Gringotts or Forbidden Journey). The Mummy looks really good after it's refurbishment. You can see the money was spent well. Gringotts is a lot of fun and it's immersive but I wouldn't say it's a great coaster.
The only negatives about my trip this year was that A) it was way way colder in Central Florida than is normal for this time of year and B) I was supposed to do a day at Sea World but I had a Bursitis attack in my hip that landed me in a local med clinic on the day I had that scheduled. Fortunately I have a credit for a day at Sea World I can use within the next 12 months. I guess maybe I will get to ride the new B&M standup when I go at least. Suppose I might pick up a day at Aquatica and maybe one of the Disney Parks next year too.
Riding the Rip Ride Rocket with Sabotage blasting in my ears was a unforgettable experience.

Rip Ride Rockit, or one particular ride on it, is probably my #1 airtime moment. Being dispatched while still fumbling with my pockets, so had about three inches of play in the restraints. Utterly terrifying to ride it like that, but a real rush and something I'll never forget.
Rip Ride Rocket used to be one of my favorite coasters. It still has pretty amazing elements but I think it has gotten almost unbearably rough in some seats/trains. I went from doing laps on that ride to riding it MAYBE twice per visit. You must have gotten a lucky ride or something. I still marathon Mummy every time, though.
UOR homepark-er here. I absolutely despise rip ride rock it. I get a headache every time. I eventually just swore off riding it when it was the first thing I rode for the day and walked off with a headache, which didn't go away for the rest of the day because it was intensified by every other ride after that. Wasn't able to enjoy the other rides because of it. But I learned my lesson from that experience and remember to take an Advil in the mornings where I'm going to BGT and planning to ride kumba. Kumba has a slight rattle but it doesn't ruin the ride as much as the rattle on rip-ride does for me.
Kumba's rattle was slightly annoying for me. HRRR i didnt even notice probably because of the forces
Of all the roller coasters I've ridden, my favorite is Harry Potter And The Escape From Gringotts followed by Dragon Challenge: Hungarian Horntail, Dragon Challenge: Chinese Fireball, Incredible Hulk Coaster, Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, Revenge of the Mummy, Pteranodon Flyers and Flight of the Hippogriff. I haven't been on Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure or Velicoaster yet.
I rode it 6 times in a row expecting it to be awful but it was great I only had a bad experience in row 3 when I stapled my self and couldn’t breath
I feel like Hollywood rip ride rocket is getting a bit rough but it still is fun non the less
Universal Orlando is my all time favorite.
I’ve never been to universal but I’m probably going to Disney before my Disney cruise next year and might add universal days

Yes I love Rip Ride Rocket. Ya it can be a bit rough but the ride itself is so fun in any row and the onbaord audio makes it 10x better!
Glad I got my chance to ride dueling dragons barely tall enough.
I though HRR was awesome when I rode it in 2010 and 2011, but when I came back in 2017, it was rough, rattly, and gave me a headache. Glad it can still give a good ride. Agree that Hulk seems more intense (almost too intense) after the retrack.
