      Dont forget to cook the coconut milk first + add little bit of salt . Warm coconut milk + sticky rice + durian = best food on earth

    @livethesimplifiedlife: I've never really bought much durian outside the tropics...But if you mean do I still like the durian that's picked a little bit earlier, like in Thailand, the answer is YES, I love those too!

      Molisan Tono Yep that's right. He taught us a lot when it comes to being patient and allow faith to decide what durian to eat next. You must wait for the durian to drop, but who knows when it drops? Destiny...It's magical at Bao Sheng!

    as a local, i eat durian more than 30 years, after this great video we just went 2 days ago,taking Level 3 MYR120 numb taste 5 flavour. but the durian doesn't taste good, mostly taste sweet, no numb taste!!!!!!!. we ask the son and daughter, the answer is durian is 95% sweet, the best answer is 'if you want bitter taste go other store!! that was very disappointed. sorry the video look nice but i will no recommend...

    • @sweetnaturalliving
      @sweetnaturalliving  9 років тому +1

      mp l What? that doesn't sound like something they would say? They do have bitter AND numbing durians but it all depends on if you get it fresh, as in SUPER fresh, when you're there. With durian, and fruits in general, there's no guarantees!

    • @mpl6882
      @mpl6882 9 років тому

      Sweet Natural Livingif you paid the level 3 numb taste, you should be able to get it, if no they will give you discount, same as level 2, at the end they don't pay you back as what they say it before, and keep the table as we sitting there. maybe i'm out of luck...

    heres a weird thing i notice, my cousin who is half asian/brit loved durian when she was like 1-5 yrs old and could eat tons of it. .. but now, she is 25 and cant stand the smell of it... weird

    • @sweetnaturalliving
      @sweetnaturalliving  9 років тому +3

      I think it has to do with associations a lot...we associate the smell of sulfur with things like gas and rotting proteins, even though there's nothing disgusting about the smell of durian.
      Also, it could have to do with internal chemistry. I think people who eat meat and dairy products have a tendency not to like it because they have rotting animals in their intestines (which would be releasing lots of sulfur as they rot). Not sure, just a theory..

    • @sweetnaturalliving
      @sweetnaturalliving  9 років тому +1

      ***** Interesting....tell him to try it a couple of times before he decides! If he ends up not liking it and he wants to experiment, tell him to try eating fruits only for a week and then trying it again after that!
