And I respect that she always starts of with good quality fresh vegetables for her brine! I normally see something that looks or sounds gross to me- and my mind thinks that's all it is- gross- in every way. But! Nope, I am wrong! This, and I'm sure tons of other products out there, are a labor of love to their creators! She just showed me that. That's why instead of just trying her stinky tofu, I would rather meet and learn from her for as long as she would let me. This video was so surprising
I mean *I didn't even know that there were Tamilok in the Philippines* even tho I live there but maybe it was because of our situation right know, trees and forests just keep disappearing
But the most uncomfortable creepiest thing that I watched was those...
    *yellow...larva like... **_thing_*

I always and will always love DURIAN ..esp. here in the Philippines island of Mindanao particularly in DAVAO CITY .. 🇵🇭
The smell is sweet scent to my nose ..the taste is far more better .. It is one of the fruits that we encourage tourists to try and taste them along with other uncommon fruits that many tourist don't know about like the milky sweet MARANG, DUHAT, KAMATCHILE, BIGNAY etc.

I love eating durian and it is my third favourite fruit. I started eating it since I was one and I got spiked quite a bit (it was painful back then). I always go to my grandparents' house to eat it and me and my grandmother ate most of it. It was her favourite fruit and she said nothing could change her mind about durian. When I was 11 or 12, my grandmother passed away on a Saturday night and I didn't know. The next day, we were preparing to go out and eat (that is what I thought) but my mom told me she had passed away because the fever was to intense. I was heartbroken and my knees were on the ground. Tears of sadness rolled down my cheeks and my mum hugged me. But, before she died. She wrote a letter and it said this, " Grandson, my time has come and I have to go. Be happy and eat durian atleast once a year to remember me.
    Love Grandma."
I was actually tearing up typing this in.

I could listen to Juan Jose, the chef spreading the knowledge of Amazonian cuisine- I could listen to him talk all day! His language (not sure which language he is speaking) but it is just beautiful! I am probably one of the people who would be scared to eat the worm, but I know for sure that he could talk me into it, lol!

We have food just like amazon worms in indonesia. I think the grasshoper is to expensive $4 for such little cup. We have fried grasshoper too. It has 3 taste: salty, sweet, and spicy. It cost $1.5 for 100grams. For durians, indonesia has more than 10 kinds of durians and each kind taste different.

I had durian in Cambodia. The smell wasn't great, a kind of spoiled/rotten smell. But! The taste and texture was amazing! I had it chopped fresh in a outdoor market- amazing! I bought some fresh chopped and packaged in a grocery store- that was alright. Not as good. But try a durian shake!! Oh my my my!!! You will be amazed!! ❤❤❤
