To behonest , she has the voice that is really rare and not much people has this type of voice !! It is calm , clean , soft , soulful , and a perfect tone !! Lot of artist use auto tune or other program to help with their singing but she has that kind of tune in her voice so that her singing is perfect as the record one zz She should be the international artist not just the competition for the program !

What does it matter that she doesn't sing it 100% exactly like the original melody! The most uniquely talented singers, make old classics their own & sing a version of it their way! This woman, has one of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard. There's so much beauty in her voice, just pure beauty. These judges are just stupid. She had no reason to cry. The judges should be so lucky to have her sing for them.

They should have been! She was hurt and the judge that started to sing right away was being such an unprofessional jerk. Her voice was not that good either...as a judge! Yet that beautiful and sweet young LADY took it well and kept going! I give her tons of credit for that courage. It was plain rude for a judge to sing along with one that is performing. She was a couple of beats too early, and if you are musician, you can hear that and you can see her being lowkey lost at the beginning, and the judge stepping in to help. General public can’t see that. Just as general public can’t hear each instrument when a song is playing, while a trained musician can hear what the bass is doing, what the guitar is doing etc if no one helped her it would prob been a mess by the end, with her having to restart again or making a fool out of herself.

Her timing was perfect. It sounded just fine. I was a professional singer. Artists WANT to sing songs their own way -- the way they FEEL them. They are not parrots trying to imitate other singers. Singers always change small things like that -- even on their own songs.

I just stumbled upon this goddess of a woman a little while ago (the video where the judges thought she was lip syncing). I've been captivated listening to one after another of her... she makes me weep! God I love the Ukrain for bringing her to us. I can't stop crying for joy, wishing I were the one she sings to. And what did the judge say to her??? HE MADE HER CRY! Was she actually rejected??? UNBELIEVABLE! I truly love you Aida. I don't know what's wrong with those judges, but something is.

But I tried to compare it to Whitney's, that's exactly how she sang it. Not sure if it's Aida came in too fast, or the arrangement was too slow. But no one would have noticed if that female judge didn't interrupt her, it was so uncalled for. Nonetheless, I enjoyed Aida's singing and I found her voice very soothing.

moterek1 Cenię uczciwość, ale uczciwość w tym przypadku jest głównie domeną osób, które mają w portfelu za dużo, ja jeszcze do takich ludzi nie należę i jak bym chciał jej słuchać to wolałbym, albo skonwertować na mp3 z youtuba, albo pobrać gdzieś w sieci gotowe.
W Polsce na takie rzeczy pozwoliłbym sobie gdybym miał na własność fajny dom i dużą działkę, do tego dobrą robotę, a na razie to nie ma sensu jeszcze bardziej ubożeć.

Aida Nikolaychuk has an uncanny ability to sing with compassion and commitment. Her voice is strong, delicate, and moving all at the same time. She's a really beautiful woman and totally humble. The way she sings "I Wanna Run to You" would've made Whitney Houston proud.
I think delicate is a good choice of word. She seems to be able to sing with reading-point emotion and just loudly enough for us to make out every word. She's not a screamer. I really appreciate that.
Was it just me, yet I thought her voice was so beautiful and clear. Well I do not know what that first judge said to her, yet it did not look very professional at all.
Why did the other judges say anything about how amazing she was. She even got a standing applause
Stephen Nicholas The thing is that this song it's very difficult and she missed a couple of notes and fell a bit flat at some points. It stills sounds well but she didn't sing all the notes correctly like in the original song. Either way, her voice is beautiful and that song is extremely hard to nail so I applaud her for trying.
Um and you say this without considering her situation. Of course their can be tiny imperfections when it is only your nerves holding you together on a stage. She has probably been dreaming this moment over and over every day for months.
Yet I was simply too stunned by the "quality" of what we herd at face value, she touched hearts and filled the moment with a breath of fresh air that does not happen too often in my opinion. You only need to look at her to understand that she was singing with her heart. She did not try at all, she created something better than what was hoped for.
There is no doubt about what you are saying. But the judges are professional singer/musicians and they catch those tiny imperfections and they have to judge what is presented to them. They can't judge based only on emotions because it wouldn't be fair for the other contestans. But in the end she won the competition so this was just a low moment

I know this clip is years old, but what the judge said at the end burns me up. Reminds me of my art teacher telling me I was drawing or painting wrong. Art is expression in just about any form, and she's got it in spades. This being the second video I've watched of her. Gonna browse more vids and check the internet for more of her.
