Everything I agreed with until 8:27 "she is singing with almost no vibrato" Bruh, whut!? She has one of the best vibratos I have ever heard. It's the kind of vibrato that is not forced and doesn't need you to manipulate it using your jaw. She just keeps her mouth in one position and her vocal chords do it. It's the best kind of vibrato for me since it doesn't go wide and away from the root note, it softly oscillates just enough to be a beautiful ornament to any note. And she uses it quite a bit here. Other singers with wide vibrato end up sounding extremely out of tune in their later years since they lose control of it cuz it damages their vocal chord to the point where they can't even correct it, they just keep doing it or sing with no vobrato at all (and for some of them this is also bad because from doing so much wide vibrato they forget how to hold a note in tune lol) This woman has been blessed with the most gorgeous vibrato.

You can also bring your own track if you gotta sing an og or a mix. Grace Vanderwaal is a proper example for the first case. But I'm pretty sure that it's been checked before.
There is another thing that makes it look fake, she doesn't inhale a lot of air! When I watch this video, that's always what is throwing me off because I know what it would take me in air to keep the notes. So she must have a crazy good lungs capacity to hold those notes !

That means you don't move the jaw much lol did you even listen? It has nothing to do with singing hability, he just said it could be the most misleading thing for the judges
I had seen this video couple times before but couldn't understand what they were saying but had an idea.. Seeing the caption made this even more exciting to watch.. thanks for the info.
The flanger in her voice is like singing 2 notes at the same time
She just has two sets of vocal cords - a common thing in Ukraine since Chornobyl explosion :)
@@jackofthelantern1545 are you for real?
@@Ninatoro39 No, that's just irony ;)
@@jackofthelantern1545 LOL
Thank you so much for this information you’re very professional and expert.. I saw this video before but I liked it even more when i watched your reaction
I love rewatching that video cause it's so satisfying to show the judges a real deal talented women.
She's singing beautifully. She probably isn't used to singing in front of so many people.
I have seen this video years ago and always though that she has some kind of delayed echo in her voice, your explanation about flanger is more realistic..Thank you
I remember watching this back then and still love watching it today and listen to her music that she has recorded.
I only speak English so I did not know what she was singing. But this is also is my favorite audition. It's so beautiful that you dont need to know the words. I can feel what the song is about. Awesome voice and very stunning beauty. But in Ukraine there are so many beautiful woman.
Same
I've seen this video for several times before. But I've never listened such interesting opinions and explanations. Thank you it was very interesting
The judge's made her sing without the music and she sounded just the same
autotune
@@dgenaropa no auto tune. That was the point. She sounded the same.
@@dgenaropa u dumb 🤕
@@dgenaropa there was no auto tune..
@@dgenaropa i don't think so maybe the original song have auto tone than this hahaha
Aida Nikolaitchuk : The Lady from Ukraine with the natural gift ! She is just an amazing vocalist that lacks confidence on this audition however she did an incredible job . The judges were confused because her voice sounds "too good to be true" but she is the real deal .
You are a very good teacher! I learned a few things from you. Helped to hear you really explain what you were talking about with this audition. I had seen this audition before and wondered the same about a recording!
She sings in Russian.
" Please ask the clouds
To gift us beautiful, tender dreams.
The night is flowing
And we are flowing with it, into the world of mysterious dreams!"
Aida is very special. I used to get messages from her by video. I haven't heard from her in quite a while. I pray that she is doing well.
She is one of my favs to go yo ,talent wise. Thank you for proving she us legit. Hugs from Sweden.
Her audition (video) actually led me to discover polina gagarina in 2015.
6:32 russian language in this case)
Brilliant! Thank you so much for the great explanation, my friend.
This is my favorite singing ever, i can't get enough of her voice, beautiful to ear.
Excellent explanation my friend . I'm not a singer but am a guitarist snd it wasn't until i found you and you explained it perfect. Again Thank You !
I always get goosebumps when I see her sing this song. Especially this very video.
Thank you for the video. This was one of my favorite performances. Although she became extremely famous in her country it is a shame we have hardly heard of her in this country.
You missed one really important fact? she has perfect pitch.
Mr. H :::: Everything you said was right on.....I have watched Aida's video 1000 X,,,,Beautiful girl, beautiful voice, beautiful language,& beautiful lyrics .....It gives me tears each time.......
H of The Stage, 6:32 I'm glad you like it, but it's Russian language, not Ukrainian +D
Luckily she is ukrainian and not russian 😅
@@olha2415 judging by her name she's not ukrainian but rather russian jew +)
I don't know how many times I watch this audition of Aida.
Her video is at least two or three years old and yes I've watched it many times. Good vibes every time.
I loved that video since the very first time I saw it some years ago.
And now I've just loved your comments about it. Thanks a lot!
And probably the greatest mic drop of all is she won her season..
Perfect example how perfection can look fake 🤥 and ,, lazy jaw,, has nothing to do with it 🤣😭😅😳
Is it just me? She went on the show to sing. They controlled the music. How would she come on a tv show about singing, give them a tape and have them play it?
You can also bring your own track if you gotta sing an og or a mix. Grace Vanderwaal is a proper example for the first case.
But I'm pretty sure that it's been checked before.
Think about this…if the judges never stopped her, we wouldn’t have been blessed with that otherworldly, Acapella performance! 💜
Angelic look !!! Angelic voice !!!! Angelic performance !!!!
she is in effortless mode...... so judges were in doubt..
There is another thing that makes it look fake, she doesn't inhale a lot of air! When I watch this video, that's always what is throwing me off because I know what it would take me in air to keep the notes. So she must have a crazy good lungs capacity to hold those notes !
i liked this so much that even learn the lirycs to sing along on my car while driving / i'm catalonian and can't speak russian at all). i think i've been listening it 3 years already and even get it on my phone. i like it more that the version of polina gagarina
There's a lyric version of the original singer and it has it spelled out how to pronounce all the words in the way it sounds in the song.
I thought that robotic sound was poor video quality..
You just explained this so well, and much more went into this than I could imagine.
Great work my man
ok I watched an online presentation ..)) she has the uniquely throat singing ability .. when the sound originates deep inside and not in the tongue
She has angelic voice amazing voice. Iv seen it many times.. So amazing
Perfect analysis. Let me say this, she is singing effortlessly, even high pitch notes r uttered without protruding her veins out in her neck. And the jaws r moving so casually as if she is talking kindly to a person
I like how the judges look so relieved that they were wrong about her lip-syncing. They switched to the we now found a star to be.
Dude kpop, cpop, jpop, etc do their performances 100-50 % live with HEAVY professional dancing. They work their asses off to be able to do that.
I dont really like kpop but I have a ton of respect for the artists. Learning the choreography is hard enough on it's own that I wouldn't even mind them lip syncing once in a while
Thank you for this reaction. I enjoyed this video when it went viral and it was a pleasure to hear it again.
What a great video 😁 Speaking of Ukrainians, you need to react to Tatiana from Jinjer 😁
I've listened to Tatina, she's crazyyyy! I just might, thanks bro! 😁
She is NOT fake. She has perfect and absolute pitch. Only 4% of the world population has this ability.
Thanks for the reaction and analysis. She is at the Ukrainian competition, but she is singing in Russian.
So basically the coached her and in final she sung the same some very proactive and with expressions guess what auto tune gone...
So how about an update...how has her career been since this audition?
I heard she won that one!
I watch this video like 100 times ..i love her voice
That phlange sound is natural?? My gosh I always assumed it was a vocal effect
X factor is known to use auto tune on the show, so they have done the same to Aida’s voice to make it dramatic and for the ratings
She is totally self-trained at this point from listening and singing along with the original.
Bro u said all necessary things we feel during watching this video...that was making me so satisfying...thanks man
You call yourself vocal coach right then you couldn’t tell that her song sound highly auto tuned and edited you said it after hearing from the judges
Love this video! She is amazing
Thank you for this react video. I was blown away by her voice and irate that they stopped her and insinuated that she was faking it. And deliriously happy to see her prove them wrong and continue her fabulous singing. I am glad to hear now that there was actually a good reason for them to be a bit suspicious about this performance. Cool, that she won this competition, too.
Atomic Mike Drop !! Best description I have heard on this video yet...probably ever. 😁
Фух, я уж испугалась))) Обожаю Аидочку ^^ by the way, she sing on Russian
They just couldn't believe how beautiful Aida's voice.
She sings in Russian, the judge speaks Ukrainian and Russian
