@@Karl-tc7iz Its different for every person. One example is someone has 2 days to play then they are going on vacation for two weeks. Thats their reason to speed level. So when they get back they can focus on end game content.
But there's definitely no need to rush to 80. We have plenty of time before season 1 launches. Personally ill be rushing to 80 so i can start gold making. The first day/couple days will yield the most gold.
ok so: -do the entire campaign in the first zone -do the entire campaign in the second one -do all the campaign and side quests in the third zone, do delve quests if you are still missing stuff -do everything in the 4th zone something something professions
It turned out to not be a proper guide for me at least. I did everything mentioned, ended up wasting a lot of time doing side quests at hallowfall and did everything mentioned, bar from a couple of dwelves and iam still needing to somehow grind a whole level from 79 to 80 doing god knows what. Blizzard dropped the ball hard on the campaign, it should have awarded a lot more xp in its current state. I can only imagine what would happen had i not done all those side quests (which felt slow and buggy) i would probably be 78 or so.
i will be leveling my Tailor later on, my Main Ret Pally will be first, then all my Tanks, then my Crafters and then any other toons in my Roster. i also want to make sure to do all the Rep Grinding on my Ret, this is what i bought Early Access for. just love how people are whining pay to win when all we can do is farm and level during that time. i get why it's frowned upon and not arguing that one bit, but it's hardly an issue the way that the expansion is being implemented, as we'll still only have minor stuff to do for the first two weeks anyway.
Very nice! Sounds like you have a massive alt army ready to storm the new zones! And I do agree with you, there really isn't much advantage to early access other than farming herbs and getting your characters to level 80. And even still Season 1 doesn't start from 3 weeks after the official launch. We will be sitting around waiting for the season to start, even the folks who don't have early access.
@@Cloudyhazey yup, and an Army is exactly what they are, literally 4 toons away from Max Cap as of right now. i have at least one of every Class, Spec and/or Race, with my own spins on some, like Fire Ele Shaman, Shockadin, Imp Mistress and Fistweaver Monk.

Nice and practical tips. I'm a slow leveller, partially because I read all the quest text the first time around, but this will help me get a decent start of the expansion. I'm viewing early access as just some extra time to, well, take my time on my main (baer). My thought was originally to level my first alt (HM tauren warrior) through mining and herbalism alone, but maybe it's better to max him out first? Thoughts?
That would make sense, BUT when you FIRST unlock adventure mode, it says "Your future characters can complete zones in any order". To be honest, I'm not 100% sure but I'm pretty sure you cannot. I could be mistaken but I think on your first character the zones are still level locked until you hit 80. Or unless you swap to a different character.
Adventure Mode becomes available "For all future characters" as soon as you complete the campaign. So you could finish the campaign at level 76 and start a new character. That second character would be able to start in any zone. But your first character has to continue to hit 80. All the quests in the Isle of Dorn will still be green for that first character.
Neither do. You only get rep from world quests the first time you complete it. But the rep builds up for all of your characters. So if you do a world quest, get 500 rep for it. Then log onto your second character and do the same world quest you will still get the quest rewards but no rep.
@@Cloudyhazey so really no benefit from it at all. They are preaching ALT friendliness, but in actuality they are nerfing the benefits from having alts do same content as Mains. What benefit/time saver do i incur from having multiple toons leveled, that's different from any other expansion? The only real benefit i see is for Profession recipes acquired from Renown, although the renown is still only gained from 1 toon, so not any faster than ever before. They share rep, they just cant add to it. It's the catalyst behind them removing this Tuesdays World Quest bonus event. Every toon does 10 world quests and adds 1500 rep to a faction? I would have dozens of Paragon chests when all said and done. Microsoft is doing what retailers do at xmas. Boost the prices 1 month before and then say there's going to be this AMAZING sale during the holiday!! It's not near as great as it sounds.
I took all 9 inches from blizzard and got heroic expansion 90 dolly version. Yes I’m excited for early access and much more. Please don’t shit on me in the comments
I understand what you mean! Even tho tons will disagree and say that its much slower. Yes its slower but there is nothing like being able to hover around looking for quest items, Swoop in grab the item and swoop out to drop combat to avoid engaging.
It's a WeakAura called "Ultimate Mouse Cursor" You have to have the WeakAura addon for it to work though. Just import the WeakAura string to your addon in game. Here is the link to the WA: wago.io/ZbjlsgMkp
Many reasons. Sky riding is definitely faster but there's plenty of times when steady flying comes in handy. You can't hover over places when looking for things like treasures or maybe a Herb Node or other things. Or if happen to run out of vigor (which doesn't happen a lot, but it does happen) I switch between them all the time.
That depends on what your play style is. If you're looking for that fastest way to hit 80 then don't gather until you're 80. If you're looking for a more laid back approach, then yes gathering whiling leveling is great. And you can be one of the first people to post herbs on the Auction House. You get experience from gathering too.
It's a WeakAura called "Ultimate Mouse Cursor" You have to have WeakAura addon for it to work though. Just import the string to your game. Here is the link to the WA: wago.io/ZbjlsgMkp
Thats totally fine to do. But you will be killing mobs that give little to no experience after a while. You will hit level 75 and still be in the Isle of Dorn if you do all the quests there. The quests and mobs will give little experience at that point. But that is the way a lot of people will be doing it. Thats the super chill mode leveling route :)
Awesome video. Couple clarifications, if you don’t mind. First, you are ONLY doing campaign quests for both Isle of Dorn and Ringing Deeps? And also, my understanding is that you say campaign quests -> side quests -> delve quests in that order for Hallowfall. You explain that delve quest exp scales with level, but I’m curious why you don’t do side quests while campaigning, or is that also due to exp scaling? Lastly, are dungeon quests worth going for if you have quick queues? I’m planning to level with a tank. Thanks!
Thank you! And thanks for watching! Okay so to clarify for you. Starting with...... *Isle of Dorn:* Strictly do the Campaign quests. No side quests, No delves exception of the first one since you have to. *Ringing Deeps:* Strictly do the Campaign quests. No side quests, Pick up delve quests and hold onto them. *Hallowfall:* Finish campaign in the zone and pick up ALL side quests and quests of any kind. Once you complete the campaign in Hallowfall and you're supposed to head to Azj-Kahet for the Campaign, DONT head to Azj- Kahet but instead do EVERY SINGLE quest you can in Hallowfall. Once the entire zone is complete, go around and do every single Delve quest in Hallowfall, Ringing Deeps and Isle of Dorn. *Azj-Kahet:* After completing all your Delve quests and hallowfall is completly done including the Hallowfall campaign (Chapters 7,8, & 9) and side quests THEN you want to head to Azj-Kahet and continue to follow the LAST 3 chapters of the Campaign until you finish the Campaign. Pick up all side quests as you're doing the LAST parts of the campaign. Do side quests and campaign. If you finish the campaign and you're not level 80 then just continue side quests in Azj'Kahet. You will get more experience from EACH delve at level 77 than you would if you were level 71 or 72, so basically, you're getting the best bang for your buck. Whether your level 71 or 77 its going to take a similar amount of time to complete each delve, so you might as well get the most experience you can out of them. As it goes for dungeons. During early access we can't que for Heroic dungeons and get that nice bonus of experience that we normally get. If you have a dungeon quest, you can definitely run it but I wouldn't recommend running dungeons unless you have a quest for it. But once heroic dungeons are out, totally will be decent to do as long as were getting that bonus experience for completing the dungeon.
During the campaign you will do 1 Dungeon. The rookery. It will be set as a follower dungeon. You can run more dungeons if you wish thats up to you! Personally Im waiting until im 80 then im going to run a bunch of dungeons.
@@randomhuman19 Well during early release, there won't be Heroic dungeons. Which means there won't be bonus XP for completing dungeons that you normally get when you que to a Heroic dungeon. If you're leveling with a skilled 5 man team of geared players and can clear dungeons in just minutes, then it could potentially be faster. But as it sits right now you don't get TONS of experience from completing dungeons UNLESS you have a quest for one. When heroic dungeons open, the experience you get will be a lot more and will make dungeon spamming viable for leveling.
Yes, but it is different than it used to be in BFA. You have to spec into it on the specializations tab in your Alchemy professions book. Under the tab "Fantastic Flasks" you can unlock 50% increased duration of flasks and phials by spending 5 knowledge points into Fantastic Flasks. Then if you spend another 10 knowledge points for a total of 15 you can unlock an additional 50% increased duration of flasks and phials for a total of 100%. Unfortunately, it's not a baseline or default buff alchemists get anymore, and you will have to spend your precious knowledge points to unlock it.
Since there isn't much time between remix ending and early access, will the 467 item level gear they are giving remix characters be an issue with leveling?
Absolutely not. You won't even replace your 467 remix gear until level 73-74. If you have any level 70s now you can farm the Warband Bound Pre-Patch event gear and get a full set of 480 gear in just a few hours. If you don't have any 70s now, then during those 2 days you have when the remix ends you can farm the Pre-Patch event for that 480 gear. But you don't need to. It won't make a huge difference.
The more gear you have going into leveling just means the faster you kill mobs. I was one shotting everything at 515 item level from levels 70 to 73. Any spell I pressed on my action bars 1-5 would one shot any mob i targeted. So, at 467 it will take a few extra hits to kill things, but things will still fall over. You could potentially start the new expansion with 408 gear and be okay.
thankfully Blizzard made sure the leveling experience wont be a bother if you're not geared to the bone, it will be just as easy getting into TWW content as it was in Dragonflight.
Charged Phial of Alacrity Item Level 385 Use: Increases your Speed by 619. Lasts 30 min and through death. Consuming an identical phial will add another 30 min. Requires Level 61
Good question. Putting Warmode on will increase your experience by 10%. So you can do what ever you enjoy more. When I was testing the beta, I had warmode turned off, But i will turn it on for live.
@@CloudyhazeyHey!! Add a section to all your videos that has a bulleted list of all your add-ons and weakauras used. This would help people wondering what they are. You can always add a comment to your videos to remind people to look there if they are curious :)
Steady flying is so fking pointless now that they changed it into a 5 second cast. The reason you wanted to steady fly is to efficiently get to places that are close by without having to spend vigor charges in dragonflying. Or if the charges are empty but you don't want to be grounded for like a minute. Such a dumb change imo
@@UltimateGamerCC that's because you adapt to it in your playstyle and you don't do stuff like fly from mob to mob or item to item anymore in order to be quicker. Now you know you're gonna be grounded if you do that a couple of times with dragonflying so you just walk. In the current setting Steady flying is completely pointless across the board. Only in highly niche situations would you wanna use it now for example if you feel like afking in midair or smth..
@@drakebane9527 nah, i'm usually good with that, it'll only be like that at first when i'm hitting every node i see rather than every special node, the difference is really night and day in that regard. not to mention Skyriding is still way faster than TBC Flying.
Did you run it with a quest for it? Or just the Delve itself? If you don't have a quest attached to it, then you will just get basic experience for the mobs inside plus a small bonus at the end.
@@Cloudyhazey I did run with a quest yes, but all in all it was less then 2 1/2 bars. But that's ok, my understanding is that is already nerfed once the realms are back up in a few minutes. I appreciate the guide though Cloudy
@@Cloudyhazey But really thank you, I was just about to start looking this up and your video popped up and answered all the questions I had for leveling plus extra useful info (5% stacking xp buff per lvl 80 is sooo dope). As my plan is to level all 6 tanks.

@@FeelSoClose7 why do you care what other people are interested in? Also it's a fairly weird question considering the myriad of common sense reasons people speed level.
yeah they changed it since Cloth floods the AH in no time flat, moreso than Skins, Herbs and Ores combined, since Cloth can be obtained by anyone killing mobs. this change makes sense and will combat the overflow of Cloth mats hitting the AH.
For the most part yes. You will find cloth as a non tailor but far and in between. I found a total of 3x cloth from my entire leveling journey from 70 to 80 on a non tailor but as a tailor, I was getting 2-3 cloth from every other humanoid.
It still boggles my mind how people who are not even remotely close to playing in a Top 20 guild or even lower could stress themselves out to reach 80 on 10 characters within the early access weekend. Holy shit chill tf out you're not gonna be accepted into Echo even if you level 50 characters
The correct pronunciation of “route” is “ROOT.” It comes from the French language, and that is the way it is pronounced in French and English. In addition, root is a homophone of route (which can be pronounced \ROOT\ or \ROWT\).
There's no point in leveling fast, M+ doesn't open for a few weeks yet. Also, there's actually value in enjoying the world, the story and the process. Wow players obsession to doing EVERYTHING as efficiently as possible if freakin gross., so I get why that would be an outlandish idea to many.

just like with Dragonflight you have to complete the opening patch Campaign and hit max level. then Adventure Mode is unlocked Account Wide.
@@Cloudyhazey That would make sense. Thanks, it would've been a nice method to speed to 80 if it worked like that :D
Will you have a full quest log to turn in on release or not worth it?
To be honest, I don't have a full quest log, But I do have a handful of quests i will be turning in that are in valdraken.
So, world quest rep stacks, but main/side quest rep doesnt?
Neither do. You only get rep from world quests the first time you complete it. But the rep builds up for all of your characters. So if you do a world quest, get 500 rep for it. Then log onto your second character and do the same world quest you will still get the quest rewards but no rep.
I just tested it out minutes ago to make sure I gave you an accurate response.
This is a great change, You will no longer have to farm dailys on all your alts! This will also make it so you build up rep much faster!
@@Cloudyhazey How is it faster? You just said a WQ only offers rep ONCE. How is that any faster than any other expansion?
I took all 9 inches from blizzard and got heroic expansion 90 dolly version. Yes I’m excited for early access and much more. Please don’t shit on me in the comments
Whats good! Hell ya, gotta get that early access in! I know its BS we have to pay for that but nothing we can do besides rage in the forums..
As a Druid I wish the flying was reversed, Pathfinder unlocks dynamic. So much easier to quest with regular flying!!
I understand what you mean! Even tho tons will disagree and say that its much slower. Yes its slower but there is nothing like being able to hover around looking for quest items, Swoop in grab the item and swoop out to drop combat to avoid engaging.
@@Cloudyhazey YES!! Gathering quest are super easy with Druids, lol.
Got my sub, thanks for the information. Also, what mouse pointer is that?
It's a WeakAura called "Ultimate Mouse Cursor" You have to have the WeakAura addon for it to work though. Just import the WeakAura string to your addon in game. Here is the link to the WA: wago.io/ZbjlsgMkp
And thank you for the sub! Means alot!
ill stick to doing every quest, but that usually only puts me a day behind for those that just did campaign.
Fair enough! Thanks for watching the video and enjoy your time leveling up!!
First things first, log into all alts and put them in inns
Yes! That will totally help out! Good suggestion!
yo do u need to be a tailor for cloth to drop?
Pretty much. From 70 to 80 i got 3 cloth in total on a non tailor. With tailoring it drops from humanoids all the time.
why would you wanna try to unlock steady flying early when skyriding is faster? :S
Many reasons. Sky riding is definitely faster but there's plenty of times when steady flying comes in handy. You can't hover over places when looking for things like treasures or maybe a Herb Node or other things. Or if happen to run out of vigor (which doesn't happen a lot, but it does happen) I switch between them all the time.
if yopu have early access and plan to play professions for gold would you then advise gathering as you lvl
That depends on what your play style is. If you're looking for that fastest way to hit 80 then don't gather until you're 80. If you're looking for a more laid back approach, then yes gathering whiling leveling is great. And you can be one of the first people to post herbs on the Auction House. You get experience from gathering too.
You forgot to mention to turn on warmode for the extra xp!
Good suggestion! Thank you!
Yes please!!!! More pve heros for me to eat!!!!!

What is the circle around your mouse? An addon?
It's a WeakAura called "Ultimate Mouse Cursor" You have to have WeakAura addon for it to work though. Just import the string to your game. Here is the link to the WA: wago.io/ZbjlsgMkp
Ima just do all quests as I go so I don’t have to back track. If I hit 80 before I finish campaign oh well. Beats having to back travek
@@Cloudyhazey Wount be that bad for gatherers, gathering mitigates exp loss greatly, i think
I've done 70-80 in 2:42h do isle of dorn sidequests, and hollowfall, and tailoring crafitng 👍
Thats fast as hell!

@@Cloudyhazey thanks for the detailed response! Much appreciated. And thanks for the reminder to re-enchant for speed and get flasks!
@@Donovanlefferts No problem! If you have any questions what so ever, I'm always around and I'll try my best to get an accurate answer!
Do dungeons have any role in leveling 70-80?
During the campaign you will do 1 Dungeon. The rookery. It will be set as a follower dungeon. You can run more dungeons if you wish thats up to you! Personally Im waiting until im 80 then im going to run a bunch of dungeons.
@@Cloudyhazey so it doesn’t make leveling to 80 faster?
@@randomhuman19 Well during early release, there won't be Heroic dungeons. Which means there won't be bonus XP for completing dungeons that you normally get when you que to a Heroic dungeon. If you're leveling with a skilled 5 man team of geared players and can clear dungeons in just minutes, then it could potentially be faster. But as it sits right now you don't get TONS of experience from completing dungeons UNLESS you have a quest for one. When heroic dungeons open, the experience you get will be a lot more and will make dungeon spamming viable for leveling.
Do alchemists still get longer flask duration?
@@Cloudyhazey So it's the same as in DF
@@Telados pretty much
Earned a sub from me 😊
Thank you so much! Means a lot!
@@Cloudyhazey ok that's good to know. The pre-patch event is what i was wondering if i needed to do.
thankfully Blizzard made sure the leveling experience wont be a bother if you're not geared to the bone, it will be just as easy getting into TWW content as it was in Dragonflight.
7:00 after the enchants you mention a speed vial / file? what is that?
Charged Phial of Alacrity
Item Level 385
Use: Increases your Speed by 619.
Lasts 30 min and through death. Consuming an identical phial will add another 30 min.
Requires Level 61
I’m going to level up from questing. I think you need to do that anyway to unlock earthen
Yea there is a few different questlines you need to complete. Questing is definitely the best way to level up!
Question: Is this with PVP ON or OFF ?
Good question. Putting Warmode on will increase your experience by 10%. So you can do what ever you enjoy more. When I was testing the beta, I had warmode turned off, But i will turn it on for live.
what nameplates addon is this? i dont think it is Elvui nameplates. if possible pls mention the settings.

@@nabbrusc Thanks for this! Probably a good idea for me to do this!
I am kind of mad that they changed the druid mount to do the same. I can no longer go from Sky riding to instant steady flying anymore either!
honestly TBC Flying is overrated and i'm fine with Skyriding, didnt need it once in all of Dragonflight.

@@FeelSoClose7 why do you care what other people are interested in? Also it's a fairly weird question considering the myriad of common sense reasons people speed level.
Wait. Only toons with tailoring can pick up cloth?
yeah they changed it since Cloth floods the AH in no time flat, moreso than Skins, Herbs and Ores combined, since Cloth can be obtained by anyone killing mobs. this change makes sense and will combat the overflow of Cloth mats hitting the AH.

It’s not, “root” it’s (r out e)

In addition, root is a homophone of route (which can be pronounced \ROOT\ or \ROWT\).
Wrong. It can be either.
There's no point in leveling fast, M+ doesn't open for a few weeks yet. Also, there's actually value in enjoying the world, the story and the process. Wow players obsession to doing EVERYTHING as efficiently as possible if freakin gross., so I get why that would be an outlandish idea to many.
