Shay! The rock Emmi found is a kindness rock. We do that here in our community. We paint rocks and then hide them, labeling our county on the back. There are facebook pages per county, so when we find rocks we have a place to post our pictures of them, as well as ones we paint. It is a very neat activity to do as a family. My kiddos love to sit and paint rocks..not to mention the delight of finding them, and the amazing feeling when someone else finds yours and you see just How happy your creativity made them....priceless! I'll bet you Butlers could make some AWESOME rocks to spread around your community!
My son is 5 days older than Daxton. I remember giving birth to my son and just coming home from the hospital and was able to watch Daxton's birth vlog. And it's funny because my son is just like Daxton is every way lol.. the whining, and crying and the cute sayings like 'vlog me not him" lol.. my son the other day as I was leaving the hosue. "dad stay and mom you go" this age is such a great age for our children.. not that any age isn't great but they are just learning so much and discovering who they are. I love it!
I feel like appreciating nature definitely comes with age. I am a sucker for sunrise and sunset and I always has been, I swear I have at least 100 photos of just sunrise and sunset in my phone. But I noticed in last couple of years I really appreciate things like fall and everything changing colour, snow and frost. For example last week when I was travelling from uni back home by bus I was watching the clouds and I haven't seen anything like that ever in my life, or maybe I did but I didn't notice. It's magical.
