Opening roof any day please!not enough cars with opening sunroofs these days we need our vitamin D. Great detailed review as always and a very relaxing attitude you have Thomas! some may think your reviews are too long i think more car reviewers should spend more time on their reviews like you do keep up the good work!
I really like your impartial honest reviews Thomas, comes the nearest to a complete picture without having to do the review myself. Surely this one will sell on the name alone now even though it's lacking in some crucial departments.
That's pretty underrated SUV. I have S- 180D and would say I'm very happy with it. Have also BMW X4 and would say that Jag's diesel is smoother and quieter. The only cons is the weight but believe me that E-pace is extremely stable in high speeds and high side winds.I wish they had better Warranty program. Small sexy thing.
Seen it in the flesh outside a Jag dealer. Really chunky styling... looks like a proper raised SUV than the crossover styling of small BMW X cars. I reckon, this is the best looking small SUV along with the Stelvio. 😍
My cat came running to see who was speaking his language. I agree Thomas, this SUV is gorgeous but it just doesn't say premium inside. It's priced like it's the top of the field, when it's interior quality says I'm the bottom. No sale. Great review Thomas. You wore the wrong jacket for that rain though!!
Great review as usual. This segment is really not for 6 footers (or their possible 6 foot passengers), but this is the best looking unit in this segment for my money. if they would have introduced this vehicle with hybrid plug-in, it really would have been great, but a bit heavier obviously.
Good cat. Not bullied on autoroutes! Shame about 'rather loose feeling in the steering wheel', and not feeling one with the car on country roads. Lac de Saint-Cassien! No, don't like a complicated gear selector; VW & Merc do perfectly good selectors. Regards to Katharina. And Schmuzy!
The stumpy looks are growing on me. But Jaguar know how to make cars steer nicely so there's no excuse for that. I'd take the Volvo XC40 instead. Love the cat.
Not a proper Jaaaaaaaaag. I'm a big fan Jaguar in general, but Jaguar newest line up vehicles specifically the new XE, XF, and F-Pace don't quite measure up as Jaguars, except in design. Whilst they are good cars, they lack that certain X-Factor of older Jags that made them so special, with that said the F-Type and XJ still have the sparkle that make them truly special cars. Anyways, great review as always.
I would like to hear in reviews apart from consumption figures also estimated range (as I see you drive always with full tank :) ). It's interesting, because I don't like to tank often and one of the things I like most with diesel is to do a 1000km leap when traveling :) And it's also hard to believe for such big figures for all those new cars: when I traveled over 2000km with Golf IV diesel, I got 4,5l/100km consuption and it was measured with calculations from full to full. Daily it consumes 5-6l/100km combined. Recently also traveled over 1000km. with new Clio diesel, and also got 4l/100km consumption on trip computer. Also I noticed that the the algorithm for consumption is such that after reset you need to drive calm some not short distance to get figures settle down, because in the first I even say 100km. it is very sensitive to changes of driving style and can be missleading. The best way of measuring consumtion is on using full tank.
Vaidas Kazakevicius - agree, full-tank-to-full-tank is best, but imagine reviewers don't have time to do this, and rely on the car's computer - which is sensitive to recent driving style! That was good fuel consumption you were getting from your Golf Mk4 diesel. Diesel does have some advantages then...!
Great review as usual. That's a good looking car. I wonder why Autogefuhl reviews continue to film the driver's view with camera placement that is not centered. In your reviews that perspective is strange and the A pillar is in the center of the shot.
Nice review Thomas. I just bought a 2017 Jaguar XFS 3.0d and jaguar needs to step up the interior quality. P.S. Any chance to review the new Alpina D5S :) ?
Interestingly, for the first three months of the year, this segment is off to a slow "pace" of sales in U.S.. May be limited availability as they roll out, but where Macans and F-Paces are selling 1500 to 2000 units a month in U.S. each (and did so from the beginning of sales), the E-Pace has yet to break 500 units. The next three months should tell the tale. As I said, may be limited availability. However, loaded, these are not inexpensive and approach F-Pace lesser equipped models which is more vehicle for the money.
Good looking small SUV ,no doubt but what about reliability issues.I've heard Jaguar SUV's have reliability issues maybe. What do you think Thomas? Great video anyway ,keep it up Thomas!
It seems to me that you liked the Volvo XC40 as much or more than this E-PACE. Especially when you spoke of the "fun to drive" factor. Can you please elaborate some more and confirm my interpretation of your reviews for these two new models. Thank you, Thomas!
Yeah. I also recommend that u watch the following of our reviews to compare: BMW X1 / X2 Mercedes GLA VW Tiguan Seat Ateca Skoda Karoq Just UA-cam search with autogefuehl and the car model name
Very good car. Like a real sport ftype and SUV in one_ more goodest is with 20inch wheels. Look like a real sporty SUV. Dynamic is very good in roads the light's too very good seeing. This model is too very good car. Recommended absolutely. Because two car's in one car. Very good condition for Jaguar. My personal opinion 👍
I do dislike reviews were they state that a car is "not as sporty as" or "steering is better" in other rivals in the sector...is it that difficult to name the actual cars you are referring to. We all have different ideas as to which sector vehicles fall in and indeed can be dependent on specifications.
Good review as always. I prefer the F-Pace. This model is awkward looking, particularly the front with those ugly headlights and what’s with the massive wheel arches; even those 20’s look lost, it needs 22’s and they’re not even available on that model. Centre console also has rather too many buttons making it look dated for a new model.
JLR are now blaming Brexit and the diesel backlash for their poor sales. But to judge by this review, there are problems with the products. Personally I'm unconvinced by such highly tuned 4 cylinder engines and wonder about longevity and reliability
SOS10 I don't usually mind - gives the whole thing a bit more character - you know. The german doing an incredibly detailed and professional review of almost all aspects of the car - plus the accent - theres a reason i watch these videos, but I myself (german as well) like to constantly improve my english and be told when I make mistakes and how to fix them :)
Nice review as always! Unfortunately not so good for Jaguar.... + Exterior looks nice - Old chassi - Not enough room for your left foot - Interior looks awful, don’t understand how they could give you a car to review that looks like this - Strange noice when adjusting steering wheel, not an exclusive impression - Strange sound also when open the trunk - Consumption is unbelievebly high?? What happened - A lot of roadnoice?? - Heavier than FPace?? It’s a tank... ...the list goes on....
v0lterra Instead of putting fund and resource to improve JLR reliability and quality, they pay people to do reviews and worst, fake good comments. What a sad company.
I don’t know how Jaguar has managed to make such a boring looking car. That goes for the F Pace too. I saw one the other day I think the base model it looked soo boring and plain. It’s a Jaguar come on!
The jaguar that i hate the most... I mean, it's "for me" ugly (front looks like the Suzuki Swift one) and based on Evoque platform which is heavier than the Fpace one and follows this stupid SUV fashion.

Great detailed review as always and a very relaxing attitude you have Thomas! some may think your reviews are too long i think more car reviewers should spend more time on their reviews like you do keep up the good work!
Jaguar putting their best looking interior in their entry level car.
Their best looking interior is in the XJ
Agree XJ and FType too are good. But their sedan and SUV range interiors are lacklustre.
Thankfully I pace’s at this stage looks promising.
This is the type of channel I like to see the most complete cars review.
you re welcome !
Very smart looking car - jaguar are really a brand on top form right now!
Thomas is one of the most enthusiastic car reviewers
That cat part was sooooooooooooooo cute like awwwwwwwwww, I’m dying inside due to the cuteness
Do a review of that cat 😂😂😂😂😂
In full HD, full screen and full LENGTH!!
HC Li // LET'S GO!!
1 cat power and 9 lives :)
I really like your impartial honest reviews Thomas, comes the nearest to a complete picture without having to do the review myself. Surely this one will sell on the name alone now even though it's lacking in some crucial departments.
Appreciated!!
Beautiful car but I feel the cat stole the show 🐈😍
That's pretty underrated SUV. I have S- 180D and would say I'm very happy with it. E Pace is the most reliable Jaguar - because it is not built by them but in Austria 😅
Looks-wise, it's as sweet as the Audi RS Q3. Great honest review as ever, Thomas.
👌
Seen it in the flesh outside a Jag dealer. Really chunky styling... looks like a proper raised SUV than the crossover styling of small BMW X cars. I reckon, this is the best looking small SUV along with the Stelvio. 😍
Wow, was checking small SUV car and found this E Pace and so happen see a new video from Thomas and is E Pace!
welcome :)
13:54 "this is very exciting, now" Thomas on the back seat :)
What an absolute stunner!!😍😍😍
That cat though
Yeaaayy Thomas! Let’s gooooo!
😎🐆
Great review and great effort rainy condition as usual ★★★★★.
Exterior is pretty good but, I can't say same thing for interior. See you next review...
Jaguar is special premium vehicle, it should have special design, elements and materials. That segment customers expectations high ???
Great review as usual. This segment is really not for 6 footers (or their possible 6 foot passengers), but this is the best looking unit in this segment for my money. if they would have introduced this vehicle with hybrid plug-in, it really would have been great, but a bit heavier obviously.
cheers !
Yehhhhhh Thomas, WOW, you got this vid out pretty quick! I was just talking to ya.....:P Awesome as always bud.
😉

:>
Very good review as usual, Thomas, specially if we consider the weather!!! 😊 Thanks for your perseverence. It was a "Hundewetter", not for cat's 🐈 😁
I want this car , i love this car

Hello from Paris Texas! I love the E-Pace and the F-Pace
Greetings!
Tomas does the best car review.

jaguar e pace or evoke which one is better
Love the 🐈
Sign up that cat!!!😆
The smaller cat sounds more ferocious than the four-wheeled one.😊
Sir your review awesome
thanks, please recommend us =)
That interior is beautiful
One suggestion, when you talk about front design it will be more attractive to turn on front lights, regards.
Kitty for the win :3
Great review Thomas. More likely the 2.0 diesel will be popular in UK.
You had me at meow. ;)
Very smart ..luv ur work nd ur all reviews 😄😄nd tht kitty was soo cuteee 🐈
😊
Little late but, is alfa Stelvio a better car then E-Pace in test here?
The stumpy looks are growing on me. But Jaguar know how to make cars steer nicely so there's no excuse for that. I'd take the Volvo XC40 instead. Love the cat.

I think you must like the car Thomas as you said it gives you the horn.
Great review as usual. That's a good looking car. I wonder why Autogefuhl reviews continue to film the driver's view with camera placement that is not centered. In your reviews that perspective is strange and the A pillar is in the center of the shot.
We can put it center if we have panoramic roof, would have been possible here. We can do that in future. Just not possible without panoramic roof
Nice review Thomas. I just bought a 2017 Jaguar XFS 3.0d and jaguar needs to step up the interior quality.
P.S. Any chance to review the new Alpina D5S :) ?
Cheers! They dont work with digital media that much...
Great, how does it stack up against the Porsche Macan? I’m very interested to know seeing that it’s near in price to the base model macan. Thanks!
Bmw x2 or jaguar e pace which is more driving fun? Which is better?please reply
That cat
Ah I was hoping there would be a smaller version of the f pace and here it is!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Edit: cute cat! 🖤😌
=)
great review again thomas , the out going volvo s60 also shares this platform , prob comes frm ford , wth thm having ownd landrvr , jaguar and volvo ☺
Yeah..

Does anybody know how much the comsumption is by 100 % petrol driving? THX
Fuel consumption excessive for a small 4 cylinder these days . Diesel will be the default choice. Pity they couldn't squeeze the V6 supercharged in.
Does it come with yellow?
Nice but with the right optionals crazy expensive for the size ... and crazy weight for a small sportive Suv
Very good car. Like a real sport ftype and SUV in one_ more goodest is with 20inch wheels. Look like a real sporty SUV. Dynamic is very good in roads the light's too very good seeing. Hey Thomas, will you be in Geneva motor show this year???
Yes extensive coverage!!
When do we get the i-pace?
This year still i think the driving
Autogefühl looking forward to it. Thanks.
Nice cat, always have to spray the front wheel lol
Will there be a next fan-event?
I hope!
Cat part was great

I totally agree with you.
The price difference between the 250 hp and 300 hp version is around 10.000 euro. Do you know how that is possible?
cheers
Margin 😜
It looks great till you get to the front lights and then there's a distinctly 2006 Ford Fiesta look about it.
Cupra Ateca road test as soon as possible please (5.4sec 0-100)😨
nice cats

Perfect weather for a British car lol
the jaguar and the cat :)
Forget the car , I want the cat !!
A roof that can open
Me like, sike I'm up for a x2 m40i
uk car won't handle well? engine, driver, fuel all on right side.. surely it will just go in circles.

yeah thats right
JLR reliability and quality are horrendous.
v0lterra Instead of putting fund and resource to improve JLR reliability and quality, they pay people to do reviews and worst, fake good comments. What a sad company.
I’m not quite sure about the front end
Yashraj Mote looks much better in the flesh.
The evoque with a different body. Won’t touch jaguars and land rovers. Too many reliability problems
I don’t know how Jaguar has managed to make such a boring looking car. That goes for the F Pace too. I saw one the other day I think the base model it looked soo boring and plain. It’s a Jaguar come on!

MAN IN BLACK Q2 or E Pace?
No
Maybe, but boring
