I love what Pastor Drew said about finding out what God wants you to be doing. Start by asking what you can do to help others. Its pretty much the basis of "love your neighor as yourself" and the connecting Good Samaritan analogy.
I can't say I share in the religious side of things, but it's always wonderful to see people coming together to help families survive and ultimately remain together. As someone who spent some time in foster care myself, (albeit six months that felt like a whole year), I can find great appreciation in groups helping out like this. Hope they will continue to be able to provide much needed help to those familes that surely need it. 🙂
