Yes, that one human is gonna have their work cut out for them, but...
- At least a human will actually read the reported message and can understand context, instead of looking for a "trigger word" and banning instantly.
- At least a human will properly explain why you got banned.
- At least a human won't automatically ignore your appeal with the same automated message, thus requiring you to basically throw a tantrum until you can talk to a human.
- At least a (single) human will force Roblox to abandon their "requirement" to ban a certain amount of people within a certain time frame (no, I did not make that up)
- And so on...
One person in charge of moderating billions of people is a bit ridiculous, but I would rather see a hacker/toxic player get rightfully banned several months after a report than seeing several people get falsely banned in a day within 15 seconds of a bogus report. Just give that one person the option to ignore people who spam reports and you're good.
Obviously, it would be better to have several humans, but I'm just saying that any number of human mods is better than any number of bots.

I think the absolute funniest part about this is that every single person had only one random English letter they could say, unique to them alone so others couldn’t say it.
For me it was “uh” and for a friend it was “Soup!”, it only worked if those words were typed exactly as they are in the brackets. I have absolutely no idea what they did for this to happen

I was playing CENTAURA during this and both teams ended up speaking in broken German to communicate. This wasn't even in a European server, It was on the Singapore servers.

i was in a server once (before this happened), and apparently i couldn't say "block" so i went to the roblox subreddit and asked why i couldnt say it, and apparently roblox made it so you cant say any word with the combination "ck" at the start or at the end, so "block" was censored. they also banned any word with the combination "ass" which makes sense but it also made it so you cant say "assist" which was a very helpful word with shooters

It would be logical if they just made it at the very least, possible to write the actual words that you mean, like if you specifically say assist, then it will recognize it as that word, the way they censor it is freaking stupid.
the Roblox filter has gotten a lot worse in the last year, they simply censor the most common way Brazilians laugh on the internet (in this case "kkkkkkkk"), I know this probably has to do with that group that wears white cones and white clothing, but why? Stg the filter targets me the most out of my friend group for some reason. There’s been a glitch similar to this for about maybe half the year. Basically when you talk a bunch in the chat it sometimes starts to tag everything you say but then after a while it goes back to normal. Hopefully Roblox fixes that too! Idk if anyone else has experienced this but I have 😅
I called that phenomenon a tagstorm, it usualy stopped when i typed "TAGSTORM" into the chat, like its some magical fail safe word lol
That’s a bug where for some reason sometimes you can say something that is usually filtered but that one time it isn’t, and everything else you say for a while is tagged. For example, I once said “ass” and that happened to me. It wasn’t tagged, but everything else I said after for a while was.

Fun Fact: In the community I am in, we figured out that if you put "hola" at the start of the sentence, it would have bypassed the english filters at the time, and it ended allowing us to talk like normal until the filter got fixed.

There’s a lot of crazy people on this place that you just feel like “what the hell is going on.” Roblox continues to do something wrong and completely ignores it, which is exactly why I quit. The truth is, it’s really hard to cut this company some slack. They eventually do something good once in a while. The last thing I remember being good from Roblox, was making Stitchface off sale, but that’s about it. So, that’s the truth. You’re not gonna get anything out of me for a while.

I was playing creatures of sonaria when this happened and I opened chat and they were trying to find words that worked (a few were “YO” and “hi”) and were spamming them in chat and I wrote my username (joe) just to see what happened and low and behold, it worked so everyone started saying joe in chat and it kind of a surreal experience 😅

It just started happening suddenly while I was playing Noobs in Combat. A few minutes ago I could talk fine in one match, but then suddenly in the next match, everything I said became tags. I was like 'wait, does this map not let you communicate with others or something'. Then I noticed people had difficulting talking back in the lobby too.
So many children can learn the value of bilingualism from this.
I was playing Kingdom Tales when this happened, we all had to say Jajaja or other Spanish Words to say our sentences in English.
I was playing a game of phantom forces. Everything was going well until during the game me and my new friend couldnt speak in english. I tried my native language, Russian but it didnt work too. The people that originally talked in english figured a way around this and started talking in chinese. Yeah... Pray that roblox wont go down again for like 2 to 3 days.
So that's why I literally couldn't say things as simple as LITTERALLY BUCKET...
