Do you want to know something kind of freaky?
The vast majority of things we do all day every day are habits. That means they're unconcious. That means we're not really thinking about almost everything we do every day.
    Crazy pants.
But guess what that means? If we consciously choose and create habits that will lead to the kind of life we want, we're golden!
When it comes to our financial lives, the same thing applies. We do things unconsciously day in and day out that are either making us wealthy or keeping us broke.
If you want to create an abundant life, financially and otherwise, you've got to do things every day that will give result in abundance.
But what if you aren't aware of the financial habits you already have that are keeping you stuck?
Luckily, I've identified the top 3 habits that might be keeping you in debt, with no savings, in financial avoidance, or [insert alternative kind of financial stuckness here.]
And since it's Financial Freedom Friday I'm going to reveal what these 3 habits are in today's video. Plus, I'm going to give you habits to replace your bad habits with so that you can get on the road to financial peace and wellbeing stat.
Watch the video below to get unstuck and learn how to break your habits.
    Over to you:
What financial habits do you have that you'd like to replace? What new habits will you replace them with?

The "I cant afford this" statement is so true. Off first hand experience I once srambled together $1000 to take a trip with 0 in the bank and i didnt have a job at the time, but i really wanted to take this trip so i found a way. When the will is strong enough, you will find a way

Just discovered you on UA-cam and bought your book. Never thought being broke at 48 was related to my thoughts of low self worth. Thanks for sharing your wisdom.

I can so relate! I am def a hide the bills person. MAYBE twice (usually once) a year I sit and open my mail (which is taking over my office by this time) while my anxiety level and amygdala are in high gear.
Any way, you and the Financial Freedom Fridays videos are helping me with my goals to "Cowgirl Up" to my finances and get things moving more positively. I already pre-ordered your book and devour all you have to say on finances.
    Thanks for your support!

Thank you Kate! I have loved your videos every Friday, but this one takes the cake. So many ah, ha moments for me. Just the other day I found an old check that I have never deposited..yikes! I really like the action step of paying loving attention to the money I already have and the placement of it in my wallet. Brilliant.

I almost wish there was a church of money where Kate Northrup was the preacher.
    I'd go to that church.
I know I just made a reference to worshipping money.... calm down christians... I didn't mean it that way.... it's gonna be fine. Keep calm and pray on.

Thank you so much for your work Kate. I've also noticed for me that another sneaky form of "I can't afford it" came as "When I have the money, I'll ____" or (this one is the same that my parents' repeated) "When I win the lotto..."

Super smart observation! I've started saying to myself "I could do that with my money, but I choose to do this with my money instead".

Jack Lalanne never cared about money. He grew up poor, but as he got healthy he learned how to value people. His passion was helping people. He got rich financially without doing anything you're talking about. His wife had to manage his money because he would not do anything with it. He cared about people, and that should be first priority when it comes to making money. Care about people and the money takes care of itself.

Sounds like She took care of the money. It certainly didn't take care of itself.

    1. Avoidance, 2. Can’t afford➡️I’m just choosing not to buy that right now, 3. Not respecting the money you have right now.
