Kambry and Keeley Ewoldt (USA) were born on 24 November 2018 at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa, USA, at a gestational age of 22 weeks 1 day, or 155 days, meaning that they were 125 days premature. The estimated date of delivery for the twins had been 29 March 2019.
At birth, Keeley (Twin A) weighed 490 grams (1 pound 1.3 ounces) and Kambry (Twin B) weighed 449 grams (15.8 ounces).
The twins were discharged from hospital and permitted to return home in April 2019.

I’m 19 weeks pregnant and I CANNOT imagine giving birth in three weeks! I hardly even have a belly, I look like I had a large dinner. So glad it worked out for this family. Prayers to all the pregnant mothers out there 💕
I am a mother to 2 sets of twins. My first set were twin girls at 22 weeks and 5 days and was told because they weren't 24 weeks there wasn't nothing they could do for them and it broke me because they didn't make it. 12/07/2018 and then I. 2019 I found out I was pregnant again this time with twin boys and still went into preterm labor twice and around 20 weeks I had to have a cervical cerclage put in. We made it to 33 weeks and my water broke and I had my boys 24 hours later. Born at 4lbs 4 oz and 4lbs 5 oz NICU for 2 weeks and my boys our 2 years old. God is good and God bless to all ♥️♥️♥️♥️
I'm also a prem twin but I was born at 24 weeks. Unfortunately my brother didn't make it..but 24 years on I'm still going strong 🙏 growing up knowing nearly could have died at birth really makes everyday feel like a win

I was also a premie baby. I was in NICU for 9 days in my hometown here. I had low oxygen levels in my birth and the doctors predicted that if the baby is not phototherapied, it's life will last only 48 hours. I was born on 19 December 2005. But now I'm a 16 year old teen.
My son was born 4 1/2 weeks early that was 30 years ago he's now a healthy 6' 4" 204 lbs man doing very well. There's nothing too hard for God and I believe it with all my heart. ❤️
Incredible. I was 3 months early, 1 pound 12 inches. Came home with a breathing tube/oxygen as well. Its a miracle we're alive
That had to have been so scary. My daughter was born at 28 weeks and that was scary. She’s 24 now and amazing.
My youngest is a 28-weeker, as well. She weighed 2lb 5oz. She’s now a healthy 7 year old.

I dont have twins, but my first born was only 3.5 weeks premature and weighed 4 pounds 15 ounces, and believe me...that seemed so tiny at the time! Her legs were like toothpicks and changing her diaper was scary because I was afraid I'd break her leg. I couldn't even imagine having babies this tiny! They sure are precious girls though! Happy Mothers Day to this amazingly strong mother, and to all the other mothers out there!💜

My brother had been born prematurely. He was in NICU for 26 days at Corniche Hospital, Abu Dhabi. He was only 1.4 kg in weight at birth.

Happy mothers day to all the premie moms. My mom delivered me at 8 weeks early and my brother who passed a year later was born at 22 weeks.

I also have a twin sister and we were born abbout 1 month earlier lol. It's crazy how those two little creatures that existed only since a few weeks were that strong, wow❤️

I was approximately 23 weeks, a little over 1 lb, spent 3 months in the hospital.
Grateful to be here, God allowed me to live. As far as I'm aware, I have no complications (was blessed to receive a post-secondary education).
Babies are resilient this includes preemies. I am so glad to hear these girls are doing so well.
That is amazing! It makes me very thankful my kids at least made it to 27 weeks before delivering them. (Not twins. Two separate pregnancies) although my kids are now 8 and 6 and healthy the journey of having a premature baby is something you carry with you forever.

My dad wasn't a twin but he was born week 23 or 24 weighing 900 grams when he was born and just after 600 g and thats a very little baby. My grandfather gave him, his name right after because it was unsure if he would make it. The amazing thing is that this was 1969 😊

I was supposed to be a twin. I was born at 26 weeks gestation and at one point I weighed under a pound.

Although my nephew was not premature, he was so tiny when he was a baby that when my sister was performing a first birthday ritual for him, she had to get the special clothing custom made. By the way, he is now the size of most other boys his age.
I also was 1 month premie and was the one who wasn't gonna come out alive due to twin to twin transfusion, I am glad to hear they are ok.
My mom told me I weighed 9 and a half pound, born by Caesarian birth, I'm 19 y.o. and this made me grateful! ❤️

I and my sister are non-identical twins. I was healthy while my sister was weak but I would like to thank God for saving her and now she is also healthy!

My twin and I also born too early, in our case 1 month. My sister was too dominant and took away all my nutrients which made me extremely weak and dangerously close to death. If they didn't do surgery 1 month early I'd die. Luckily I, and also my sister, recovered 😊
Hearing the story of them, I think I am very lucky to be living right now (I was a giant baby).
Thankfully they surviced

I was a premie, but only 1 month before my mom’s due date. I was in the NICU for about a month because I had bronchitis. My lungs weren’t functioning properly. Luckily, I only had asthma growing up. And it’s been about a decade since my last asthma attack. My parents were so worried about me because we had COVID. And obviously, it attacks the lungs. Luckily, my lungs are fine and didn’t suffer from any other pulmonary complications.
