When I think about GWR, I always find the most impressive acts to be the ones that the least amount of people can accomplish. There may have been some people in the past who was able to do, for example, the longest distance skipped by a thrown rock on water; or there may be many people who are either capable of breaking certain records but don't attempt it or are still unaware of the GWR organisation! Since I'm just average with my best (personal) records in swimming and quickest first bloods, I can only admire these truly meaningful record breakers. I find that the rarest and most awe-inspiring acts are the "Most in 1 minute": flares (breaker population decreasing), napkins snatched from table by yoyo (i still don't get how the yoyo can pull the napkin...), spears caught (seemed like 3-4 meters away so reflex is amazing), muscle-ups (exponentially tiring), the highest vocal note (how does one even train to achieve this), quickest to solve 3 cubes while juggling (notice how this is by far, the most impressive multitasking record in this video? Definitely 1 of the most unbelievable for me after spending a cumulative 10 hours reading GWR 2020) and all the balancing records (most notably, the largest wave surfed, blindfolded tightrope walk, balancing chair on tightrope and the 2 men-hourglass ascending stairs).
