not sure if any of ya knew of my uncle ... Dick Imohlte ... he fought in a tank also in that war ... he died a few years ago with the burden of leading a tank team into an ambush only to be one of a few that survived ... great man ... a hero in my world along with all that went through that war ... y'all have my respect for what ya did ... This Video covers Marine use of tanks, but most tanks were in Army units. Several Cav units with tanks 1-1-4CAV, 4-2-1CAV and an armor unit. In all the time I was there they never learned. They continued to send us in first.
One of the Tanks in the video was a 1st Cav Tank. Had a Red lightning bolt on the gun tube.
To bad you didn't also address the army's premiere armored unit in Vietnam, the Blackhorse Regiment, the 11th Armored Cavalry
