I really appreciate how you broke this down. Reading about it can be so dry, but you made it easy and relatable.

Thank you and appreciate these tips. The challenge that I am finding during my initial learning phase is analyzing the details in word problems/scenarios so that I can enter the numerical data into the correct spot within the respective formula. After all, if I misinterpret the scenario and enter it incorrectly into the PV, EV, AC...then I will consistently get all the other formulas wrong. I would love to see an old school workbook broken down into basic step by step problems. Basically, something that shows 10-20 word problems. But instead of asking for everything at once. Have us read all the problems and then go and find the PV for each. Then same problems, but now provide the EV, then AC, then CPI and SPI. Basically going through and practicing each step until it becomes second nature. Using scenarios that are each worded differently to make us look for the correct answer. Are there any resources with this type of practice problems available?

Do people in government jobs know these formulas? You would make a fortune teaching this to the US government.
