If your windows setup is saying that invaded product key so don't worry just open the iso setup and after there is setup file but it will give the same problem so open the iso of windows 10 then search setup and there is one more setup which is inside the source so install by the source setup it will work trust me

I really have no clue how a laptop/computer even work and I also never did an upgrade in my life ever but then I had to coz I had no other choice than to at least try this guide coz I had no money for a new laptop and windows 7 wasn’t supported anymore. this was the easiest tutorial I could find (at least for me) - so I tried and used this step by step guide to upgrade my lenovo t420 laptop and it worked. I did not even needed the provided general product key mentioned in the video (but I still did write it down though just in case). my lenovo is still working fine and I did not lose any data🤷♀️ that’s all what I can tell from my personal experience. This happened to me too. I am still installing the windows 10 by this time and it did not even ask for the product key. I'll update when I'm done installing and see if this works on my laptop

THANK YOU SO MUCH. I have windows 7 and managed to update it to windows 10 with this video. I tried few other videos but they didn't work on my laptop. Also, it didn't prompt me to enter the generic product activation code and it still worked. I've literally just done it now so time will tell how genuine this is but I have also managed to finally update my Google chrome browser. Next step is to find Microsoft packages to get word and excel which I used to have until everything was wiped from the hard drive. If anyone has any good videos for Microsoft packages then please do send my way. Thank you
If you have small memory (I have a 1GB RAM) the 64bit version will be too big for your computer, as others already explained you'll need the 32bit but honestly I wonder if it's going to work with low RAM. 1GB is the absolute minimum for windows 10 32bit
Well it didn't work for me 🤬 Says couldn't install Windows 10. 0x800707 - 0x3000D "installation failed in the first_boot phase with an error during migrate_data operation. I also don't remember if it asked me for the product key

Thank you for making this video! It saved me a huge headache and lots of stress. I've been trying to upgrade via "The Microsoft way" and it is like a run around with errors and issues. Trying to boot form a DVD or a bootable USB drive it made me make kept giving me errors telling me that Windows had to be running in order to upgrade, but your method worked like a charm and my PC was updated! One thing to note is that if you are updating from a current Genuine Windows 7 machine and you have the Product Key for your current Windows 7, use that Product Key and it will work. In my case, it didn't even ask me for a Product Key and automatically used the key from the PC and installed Windows 10 Pro to match the previously existing Windows 7 Pro. Yes, all existing files and programs on my upgraded PC were still there. So far, I see nothing missing. Even the files deleted in the recycle bin were still there.

Wow! Worked for me!! Followed all the steps on video. However, it did not ask for a product key. After rebooting, it said “Activate Windows”, which brought me to place to input product key (which didn’t work).. read somewhere in the comments though that it might take 2-3 restarts for the message to go away. If you have small memory (I have a 1GB RAM) the 64bit version will be too big for your computer, as others already explained you'll need the 32bit but honestly I wonder if it's going to work with low RAM. 1GB is the absolute minimum for windows 10 32bit

Thank you for making this video! It saved me a huge headache and lots of stress. I've been trying to upgrade via "The Microsoft way" and it is like a run around with errors and issues. Trying to boot form a DVD or a bootable USB drive it made me make kept giving me errors telling me that Windows had to be running in order to upgrade, but your method worked like a charm and my PC was updated!
One thing to note is that if you are updating from a current Genuine Windows 7 machine and you have the Product Key for your current Windows 7, use that Product Key and it will work. In my case, it didn't even ask me for a Product Key and automatically used the key from the PC and installed Windows 10 Pro to match the previously existing Windows 7 Pro.
Yes, all existing files and programs on my upgraded PC were still there. So far, I see nothing missing. Even the files deleted in the recycle bin were still there.

Wow! Worked for me!! Followed all the steps on video. However, it did not ask for a product key. After rebooting, it said “Activate Windows”, which brought me to place to input product key (which didn’t work).. read somewhere in the comments though that it might take 2-3 restarts for the message to go away.
