@@user-mk3el8pz6q Hello there. Look these days with big companies in our sport should have the decency to be able to give us some information on pricing information as regards to each individual rod on offer including the oz tips, eg are they supplied with the product etc etc.
Maybe like Dan if the price tag is £200 ish he probably isn't going to make the journey to the Tackle shop to look at them.
I do use a Preston innovations 11ft 2 carbon active which an angler sold me brand new on the bank but my old man was using one and it's brilliant for the job it's built for but the price of the actual rod at the time was £180 which I know that you are paying for quality there were also other rods less than half the price with the same performance. The Tackle industry is undoubtedly flooding the market for 1st position as they are a business and need to be able to cover overheads.
Take a look at Matrix. They haven't been around for all that long but have taken the Tackle available by storm including the amount of very well known anglers that are now sponsored by them.
I was very shortly sponsored by a well established tackle company appearing on the front cover of an angling publication and other centre pages until I unfortunately was very ill and stopped the match scene. Admittedly it was made possible by a very good and famous angler who I thank very much (although there was a reason behind it lol 😂)
