      buy a Roland TR909 and sell tr8s and tanzmaus. You'll live happier.

    very nice! I came here coz I am cosnidering getting a tanzmaus myself, and am trying to understand what the sequencer can do. What are you doing at around the 2:40 mark to trigger the kick fill?

    wow, incredible. seems like i should dust off my tanzmaus and get some more into jamming with it, rather than just sequencing it with my octatrack.

    Hi - would you mind sharing why you stopped using the Acidlab Bassline 3? That seems much easier to program than any Roland. Thanks

      Thanks for your comment!
      I don’t stop to use Acidlab Bassline3. Actually I made some tracks with Acidlab Bassline3 this year (not yet released). Easy to program, I think so too. realtime edit is very nice.

    Hey ! I have a pretty hard time to work with the Maus kick, did you remember if you post edit the sound of it ? Awesome sounding jam :)

      just in case, whats your problem wit it?

    • @javiceres
      @javiceres 5 років тому

      By the way, i use the Tom lots of times as a 2nd or even main Kick (make sure it's panned accordingly)

      @@javiceres HI !! Sorry I didn't saw your comments earlier ! I have a hard time tunning it, some days it works but not always, and it's not that stable...it depends on the pitch env, the decay, ect...also I have to do a lot of EQing (like bass boost) on it...On which note do you tune it ? I tune it on F#, and f# is a sweet spot that is sometimes hard to get ;

      @@LouisSerieusement make sure the "data" knob over on the right is in the right position also, as this controls the drive when kick is selected and has a big effect on the sound

    • @LouisSerieusement
      @LouisSerieusement 5 років тому

      @@tylerneely3475 ah thanks :) but yeah I know the data entry knob of course :p ;
      since my comment I figure that it depends a lot on room temperature, someday it's way more stable than other , also I use the pitch env to fine tune rather than the tune, I find it's more practical that way !
      And I also power it 20minutes before playing it I think it helps XD
      How do you set the drive knob ? I put it at max in the begining but now I'll rather set it just over the threshold because the timber is better like that imo ; however I enhance a lot the bass frequencies using an external EQ
      Thanks you for sharing :) !
