The NX is my favourite ship in all of Star Trek. It looks like something we could build today if we somehow got our hands on a warp drive. The submarine feel of the interior is perfect too.
I get the feeling we will on eda ybuil dships like th eEnterprise. If we ever want to explore space and find out if there truly is life out there then we'll need too.
Great cover! Always when I listen to it I just imagine people of the ship Enterprise NX-01 baldly going into unknown, making foundation for the great Federation of Planets.
ent was the last great mash of classic trek and modern trek, it had a season long storyline at the end, but it was filmed in that classic trek way but widescreen. I love it!!
Permission to kill you for sheer ignorance of one of the best orchestral instruments of all time...? :P upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/27/French_horn_back.png
***** Yeah I miss playing my french horn with a full ensemble. It was a kind of intimidating instrument to switch to from trumpet, especially seeing how the fourth lever switched it to a completely different key and my hands basically switch sides on top of that... Not to mention hand/bell placement. But it is a beautiful instrument... visually and aurally. Though sometimes the music for it can be written kinda bleh. I remember playing marches in High School that were pretty much nothing but up-beats.
Marches are a French Horn player's worst nightmare. xD And yeah, I also played on only the Bb side of the horn itself once I discovered how much easier I could hit notes with it. :P
Oh and btw, epic video of yours! This instrumental version is so beautiful, words cannot describe it! I think if Enterprise had a proper last episode, this should have been played at the end.
I still think "Archer's Theme" is a perfectly adequate title track for "Enterprise", but this is by far the best version of That Song I've ever heard. Or, to rephrase, it's the first *good* version.
0:49 It's been a long road, getting from there to here. It's been a long time, but my time is finally near. And I will see my dream come alive at last. I will touch the sky, and their not gonna me hold down no more, no their not gonna change my mind. Cause I've got faith, of the heart. I'm going where my heart will take me. I've got faith, to believe, I can do anything. I've got strength, of the soul, no one's gonna bend or brake me. I can reach, any star. I've got faith, faith of the heart.
Star Trek Enterprise is my most favourite show of Star Trek Universe. I wish there could be next season, so they could depict Romulan Wars and the foundation of the Federation
"Star Trek: Enterprise" is an awesome "Star Trek" show. Not like that 2017 crap they call "Star Trek: Discovery!" I really love watching "Star Trek: Enterprise." It's a real shame we never got to see the Earth-Romulan War in the cancelled Season 5 and 6 of "Star Trek: Enterprise!"
Enterprise was truely the best trek show I didint like it at first a lot of people did but at the episodes came u would get drawn in the story it also cleared a lot of holes as well the last episode at the signing of the alliance was not as good but when that episode ended we all waited for another episode or season but that never happened I feel u about them cancelling the show and the song hits u deep it makes teary when u hear the song because I loved it it was the best fitted song at the best trek show
still_guns I think vocals are a bit better. Rip me tho cuz I loved the whole series and i wished they didn't cancel the show so early. Wish there was season 5 and rip commander Charles tucker the 3rd.
"Star Trek: Enterprise" - "Faith of The Heart" Lyrics: It's been a long road Getting from there to here It's been a long time But my time is finally near And I can feel the change in the wind right now Nothing's in my way And they're not gonna hold me down no more No they're not gonna hold me down Cause I've got faith of the heart I'm going where my heart will take me I've got faith to believe I can do anything I've got strength of the soul No one's going to bend nor break me I can reach any star I've got faith Faith of the heart It's been a long night Trying to find my way Been through the darkness Now I finally have my day And I will see my dream come alive at last I will touch the sky And they're not gonna hold me down no more No they're not gonna change my mind Cause I've got faith of the heart I'm going where my heart will take me I've got faith to believe I can do anything I've got strength of the soul No one's going to bend nor break me I can reach any star I've got faith Faith of the heart I know the wind's so cold I've seen the darkest days But now the winds I feel Are only winds of change I've been through the fire And I've been through the rain But I'll be fine Cause I've got faith of the heart I'm going where my heart will take me I've got faith to believe I can do anything I've got strength of the soul No one's going to bend nor break me I can reach any star I've got faith Faith of the heart It's been a long road
From 0:29 - 0:49 you have a theme on par with TNG/DS9/VOY themes if you slow the track down to - 0.75 speed. That was what I came here looking for. Sadly this is so close but just off for what I need. Despite being a lovely arrangement just the same.
this version of the ST:E theme would have been great for the show and in keeping with the previous Star Trek shows. as with almost everything with ST:E it got close but still missed the mark. ST:E had so much potential. Its last season was starting to make a 360 in the right direction and then the disappointing series finale.
*makes movie with time travelling daniels going back in time to save trip from dying but he accidentally fucks up the timeline* *insert outstanding move meme*
While I do associate this with enterprise, I want you to close your eyes and tell me that you can’t see this be an opening to some kind of western. Like herds of buffalo running across a plain.
Thought they cannoized the Ent. novels where Trip was still alive, his death only being a cover?! Not sure, but would be great! I hate cannon anyway, I like to think that's how it went down!
I think everything about Star Trek Enterprise was great. Sure, the first two series were extremely unoriginal, but they could still hold up to Voyager, TNG and TOS. The third season wanted to be like DS9 and succeeded partially. The fourth season was truly original and Star Trek at its best. Such a wonderful show, cut off right when it started to overcome its problems. What a shame.
+Star Trek Theory Ugh, I swear, I've read into that book you have listed here, and much like everyone else here says, it's nothing short of irrational, biased, and emotional fluff disguised with the pretense of being deep and highly intellectual. For some people, nothing is ever enough. For racial activist groups, there is no true peace until the white man is destroyed or subjugated. For LGBT activist groups, there is no true peace unless they become the majority and get the likewise ostracize people for their straightness. I'm sorry, but we in the modern United States are closer to absolute equality in our time than any other time in human history, and as my very own girlfriend put it best, people like First-World feminists and similar groups have NO reason to exist. Yeah, she hates misogyny, but she hates misandry more. Someone showed me this video down below, and I'd like to think more people need to see it to help keep my age group in check when it comes to outrage (I'm 21, and I'm assuming you're somewhere around my age): ua-cam.com/video/FZo2hhvvlpw/v-deo.html
You're sounding more like a Maquis, if you ask me. Starfleet got less and less strict as the years went on about the open cultural expression of various races within their ranks, and stricter and stricter about the Prime Directive and its application so as not to interfere with non-member races. I think of the Federation like I think of the United States - a nation made up of immigrants of a multitude of nations who each give up the worst of their heritages, contribute their best, and together create a whole new culture of heterogeneous people who contribute strengths and new perspectives while making up for each other's weaknesses, constantly adapting to the inevitable changes of life. Neither the fantasy of the Federation nor the actually-existent United States are perfect by any means, nor are their ways of doing things always better, but when you up their all-around scores, they are simply the best factions around. Better doesn't mean perfect or elitist, even when a minority of either may show it. This is only marginally-related, but watch this >>> ua-cam.com/video/FZo2hhvvlpw/v-deo.html
The take-home message is that even an ideal organization like the Federation isn't perfect, but it's not all about conquest, either. It simply wishes to learn the best from everyone while discarding the worst or less ideal from them. What separates them from the Borg is that they don't seek puristic perfection - they only seek the improvement of both the individual and society, and ultimately, the universe.
+Star Trek Theory How is the Federation white, Western culture? Firstly, it consists of a number of different alien species, and secondly, it explicitly criticises the consumerist and capitalistic culture of the West (the Federation has abolished currency, for instance, something that the capitalistic United States would never do, unfortunately) and its reliance on fossil fuels (see the ENT episode Carpenter Street, for instance) and criticises both racism and sexism on a multitude of occasions. It's, all in all, extremely sympathetic to social justice movements and even animal liberation.
+Star Trek Theory Yeah, I think real "other races" advanced enough to show up would look at people dressed as hot dogs and walking talking crystals and human sized beetles with a little confusion...
A little different, but still not as bad as that garbage remix they did for Seasons 3 & 4 of Enterprise. Wonder if they have this orchestral version out there somewhere mixed with Watson's vocal track. Would be a fascinating listen, indeed.
Lol I thought the season 3 & 4 remix sucked too. Felt too happy and hippy like for me, it didn't fit with the seriousness of the Xindi war. The first two seasons theme seemed more passionate, reinforcing the era of beginning of The Federation.

Perfect. I haven't words.
Wow, how have I only found this beautiful instrumental version of this now!
It's beautiful!
Thank you for putting this song on youtube. I really like listening to it every time I come to youtube.
Oh finally found a good one. When the horns came in... that's a good feeling.
This is the perfect soundtrack to listen to when you're down or want to find hope. Thanks for making this!
A beautiful instrumental for by far the most beautiful Star Trek series, Thanks!!
I love Enterprise!
Been humming this all day.
I love this version
This is amazing and nostalgic
You are right, it is lovely. Thanks so much for sharing.
Wunderschön
This is indeed beautiful. So thank you for sharing.
So beautiful!
I hope everyone goes out and purchases it, if not, there will be no more orchestras to record or have a reason to record great music like this.
I love the horns
I myself was a French Horn player in high school, so I love 'em, too. ;)

Stratagem LMAO, actually that's savage because later archer signs the charter and a federation is made with the xindi, andorians, vulcans, etc.
Give them time, they will like it eventually.

"Star Trek: Enterprise" - "Faith of The Heart" Lyrics:
It's been a long road
Getting from there to here
It's been a long time
But my time is finally near
And I can feel the change in the wind right now
Nothing's in my way
And they're not gonna hold me down no more

I'm going where my heart will take me
I've got faith to believe
I can do anything
I've got strength of the soul
No one's going to bend nor break me
I can reach any star
I've got faith
Faith of the heart
It's been a long night
Trying to find my way
Been through the darkness
Now I finally have my day
And I will see my dream come alive at last
I will touch the sky
And they're not gonna hold me down no more
No they're not gonna change my mind
Cause I've got faith of the heart
I'm going where my heart will take me
I've got faith to believe
I can do anything
I've got strength of the soul
No one's going to bend nor break me
I can reach any star
I've got faith
Faith of the heart
I know the wind's so cold
I've seen the darkest days
But now the winds I feel
Are only winds of change
I've been through the fire
And I've been through the rain
But I'll be fine
Cause I've got faith of the heart
I'm going where my heart will take me
I've got faith to believe
I can do anything
I've got strength of the soul
No one's going to bend nor break me
I can reach any star
I've got faith
Faith of the heart
