That is an understatement! I have a lot of favorite bass players. Ale is in the top six. And I don't rank them within that top six group of Ale Villarreal Velez, Tal Wilkenfeld, Kinga Glyk, John Entwistle, Chris Squire, and Jaco Pastorius.
@@Leo-dd7om He's great, but I just named six. In reality, there are lots of good bass players. It's just that the six I mentioned play some of my favorite music of all time. Rush isn't on that list. Geddy IS awesome. He stood in for Chris Squire at Yes' induction into the R&R Hall of Fame.
You are totally correct when you said, "One of a kind!" They are sooo good and there is nothing else like them. You're just getting started on your journey with The Warning. There is so much great stuff awaiting you! I love your channel and enjoy your accent immensely.. plus, you're absolutely beautiful. The perfect channel. ⚡️🤘⚡️
Once you have seen The Warning live, you will want to see them again. They put on a fun and energetic show, and the sound is amazing. If I see you in April, I'll come and say hello. Great reaction, thank you very much. ❤✌🤘⚡🔥
Any song they share vocals is a fav for me this was the first song I saw by them and I have been obsessed with DPA and amazed by their talent. This show keeps eclipsing TM something I never thought could happen. Dust to Dust/Dull Knives is a must see they combine two songs from the concept album to make an incredible banger. Great reaction thank you 🔥⚡
The amazing thing about The Warning is that all of their songs are better live than the studio version. A real rarity in the music industry. I am going to suggest Dorothy and Plush. Since you enjoy The Warning think you might enjoy both of these bands. 🎸🤘
Thank you so much for saying, that all three are Equal. Yes Pau is absolutely Amazing, But so are Dany and Ali. I believe each one is masters of their crafts. And deserve attention Well said Juliette
*Disciple* *Disciple* is one of their songs about social media and how it affects people in ways they don't even know... Dany (guitar) sings the part of the "leader"... Pau (drums) sings the part of a "follower", "disciple", or maybe "soldier"... basically they're speaking about how people take what they see on social media and believe it, whatever it is... in this way, certain groups out there control the narrative and what is happening... i believe this is a cynical song telling people to think for themselves and not believe everything they see or hear... the OMV for *Disciple* was shot during the pandemic, all the extras in the video are IRL The Warning Army members... the wearing of the various masks works for the video as well as acknowledging the pandemic being a thing at the time of recording the video... there is the dichotomy of the masks, themselves... the "disciples/soldiers" wearing just cloth mouth and nose masks while the higher ranked overseers are wearing full face filter masks... and then we have DPA/TW playing the upper echelon, the untouchables, with no masks at all... this ranked depiction of status makes a huge statement about social media in addition to what is already being said in the song... *XXI Century Blood* , *Z* , and *Kool-Aid Kids* are three other original DPA/TW songs that also speak about social media... the 1st one, XXICB, has an OMV that tells a story... it and the director were nominated for (and won?) several awards when it was released in 2017 when Dany was 17, Pau was 15, and Ale was 12 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
Just for fun, watch the OMV, and then their performance of XXICB at this Pepsi Center concert! I don't know what's more cool - how good they were in 2017, or how good they were in 2023!
Dany is such an incredible singer and stage performer. The problem is that she makes it all appear easy, effortless and natural. They are all awesome but Dany deserves more attention. This band is so good. Their success is inevitable.
Hey JJ, dead chuffed for you getting to see them live, once for me last year at Plymouth when they opened for Muse three times this year, London, Birmingham (closest to home) and Nottingham, it was an absolute blast! I managed to save the live music from PolAndRock but no video unfortunately! That was a sensational concert, nearly 85k and they had them eating out of their hands!!!
It's lovely to see you smile so much Juliett! Thank you for such a beautiful reaction to such an epic band! 👍🤘 So happy you're getting to see them in April, I've already seen them twice this year (Birmingham, and Nottingham 3 months later). You're gonna love it! ❤ My suggestion is one they've never played live yet - anywhere! - the song "Apologise" (there's an official lyric video on their channel). Other than that, anything from the Pepsi Center is a fantastic option!

Hi from a subscriber. I greatly enjoyed your reaction to this tune. I've seen them live and know you'll love seeing them in person. Juliett, you are a classy lady. I vote for you to react to "Dull Knives" from the Pepsi Center. Kudos to you, and all the best.
"Disciple" is all about social media and how people get manipulated by disinformation without even realizing it. [Dany’s parts are from the perspective of those spreading hate and ignorance for power and money.] She talks about how people avoid facing their own flaws and welcome the chaos that’s created. Then [Pau plays the "disciple"], representing those falling for it, blindly following what they’re told. The chorus is cool because Dany sings about fighting the system, trying to wake people up, but Pau's part reinforces staying trapped in ignorance-like a tug-of-war between rebellion and control. By the end, the "disciple" is totally brainwashed, swimming in hate, and still following the system. It’s a warning that if people don’t wake up, they’ll stay stuck in this loop of ignorance.
Keep in mind, they didnthis when they all had the flu, especially Pau. Still, they came out and exuded the same energy that they always do. Not only are they just that good, but you can tell they like what they do as much as the audience likes seeing them, and the band and the audience feed off each other through the entire show.

Pretty sure I heard or read Paulina saying they've practiced, rehearsed, performed so much that it's all in their muscle memory now, they don't have to think about it. "Disciple" was the opener. "Z" is next.
Ale is one of the few professional bassists that actually PLAYS the bass. She is an elegant badass.
Her harmonies are really smooth. Cool bassist with the voice of an angel.
