Such a Touching Song written by a 15 yr old teenager with a beautiful Soul. Dany and her lovely Sisters all have such beautiful Warm Hearts. 😢 😢😅😅 Automatic Suns. 😢
I find myself tearing up a lot when I watch any of The Warning's videos. I think it's due to following them for almost their whole music career and seeing how much they've grown musically and matured. They are like three sisters the we've all adopted.
That makes so much sense! I look at it through the eyes of a mother and since my eldest is 25... it feels like these girls are my daughters (I have 3 as well! 😁)
@@MrsRealistic I always wonder how much the fact that we only have 3 daughters (in my case, the eldest and 2 twins) like DPA's parents have to make us feel more deeply emotional about TW? 🤔 There must be something extra, right?!!

I was at this show. All three girls were very emotional. They were performing in their home country in front of a home crowd. The Mexican people adore these ladies and the love in the room for them was palpable. They were overwhelmed with it. It was an amazing experience.
These ladies have an amazing ability to come at you from so many different directions. Whether a ballad or a Rocker, they’ll produce a response from somewhere inside you.

15 years and older. Ale and Pau were to young and had to go through additional applications and live performance videos to qualify. The 10 and 13yr old sister made the cut, and the rest is history.

Others have told you the history of the song. I think it’s important to know every iteration of this song from the studio version through the live performances. Now it has evolved into a deeply personal song that Dany performs individually on stage - just her and her audience. It has become more than what it was about when she composed it. It is incredibly relatable to every one who hears it, everyone who loves Dany, and everyone who sings along - even if they don’t speak English. Dany was away from home and her friends. She was in Boston with her sisters and her parents. So, what she missed back home was her friends, her cats, her own bed. Having experienced homesickness when I was away at a boarding school when I was around the same age she was, I can tell you I missed everything about home, not just my folks and my sisters. I even missed my chores around the farm. I just wanted to be around all the familiar things. It doesn’t go away no matter how much to put on a show that you’re big and it doesn’t bother you. I still remember that feeling as I’m sure Dany does, but what she did with it -and continues to do with it - is what makes Dany so special.
Thanks so much for that! Yes, I know that feeling all too well. I was on my own at 17... and all I wanted was to be safe back at home with everything I knew. But I never got to. If I would have known my last family Christmas would have been in 1991...I probably would have treasured it more.
Yep. Tears along with you. Second time today. This always gets to me. Her face tells the story and to hear the audience singing back to her in English is pure magic. Dany is an absolute angel.

*When I'm Alone* *When I'm Alone* is Dany's song... Dany wrote this when the girls were at Berklee College of Music (aka BCoM) in Boston back in 2015 attending the summer session they offer(ed)... she got very homesick and also had a homework task to write a song... she hadn't any ideas, time was running out, and being homesick was devastating... she recorded a teary vlog about it... afterward she realized she could harness the emotions and pain she was feeling to write her song... i haven't heard what grade she got for it but many of us hope it was an A+... This version is absolutely beautiful. A very personal song by Dany. 100% written by her. When the whole band plays this, there are no backing vocals. It is all Dany.
I'm speculating here because we really don't know anything about their private lives. I think this song has gained additional significance since it was written. Dany was isolated from everyone she knew except for her sisters (and probably dad and/or mom) when she wrote this song at Berklee. I think they understand that they sacrificed their social lives for their success. This was a decision that they made at a young age (with the blessing of their parents), and I don't think they really regret it, but they must inevitably reflect on the the loss of what some would call a "normal" life. It was the price. Either or, one or the other. Now they know that there are many, many people out here who absolutely adore them, but even though they meet a few of them personally (briefly), with very very few exceptions they are isolated and can never really get to know them. They are surrounded by guardians. There are necessary barriers in place. But they will always have their sisters, mom and dad, and the rest of the team.
The Warning's "Keep Me Fed" hit # 1 on Billboard for Emerging Artists. They are at # 4 for Hard Rock Album and # 6 for album sales. When Dany wrote this song she was a homesick little girl at music school. Now she is a Rock Goddess, but that little girl is still alive inside her. I have never known of a band that unabashedly shows us so much of themselves. Dany, Pau, and Ale are a gift to everyone who loves music.
They are either melting your face or breaking you emotionally both are powerful and appreciated. These ladies are amazing loved your reaction thank you. 🔥⚡
When someone hears this song for the first time, and was wrote by a very young homesick teenager years ago, and it is still relevant to the time they watched it without knowing the story behind it, just tells me how great a song it truly is. To stand the test of time, still be able to connect and resonate as it does, is simply amazing. With the post pandemic world, living alone and on the internet, it has just strengthened it's grip too.
I loved your reaction, very heartfelt and natural. and to think that Danny composed it when she was a child in that summer program at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, a gift that Ellen Degeneres gave to each of them for USD$10,000 dollars so that they could study music. According to the girls, everyone at that university was a great student and they were the only girls.
I think this is part of why I love reaction videos. I didn't get emotional at the performance as much as I did your reaction to it. Proof that a connection is made even if it is only virtual.
This song hits hard. In fact, many of their songs have the same effect on me, which I find weird because lyrics never really do that. Lol ... I know that you already reacted to the fancam of Pau doing "Breathe," but you should check out the official video of it from this concert. Also, make it a twofer by reacting to "Black Holes" right before "Breathe." And bring tissues this time. Haha
@@MrsRealistic The Pepsi Center versions hit much, much harder. The strings, the audience reaction, PAU'S reaction to the audience reaction ... the fact that Breathe wasn't even on the set list.
Wonderful choice Mrs. R. Pau and Ale have caught up with Dani so fast they are now shining their own sunlight very brightly, so it's super to see Ale back in the spotlights again. OK people, you want to know what talk-singing should be like - you just saw a perfect example of this here. I don't think I can ever tolerate the cr@p that rap dishes out, when it can actually be done as well as this.
@@MrsRealistic Hope I didn't offend you, I guess I just have bad experiences with rap. You are so right there with "connecting with fans" - that is one of their key attributes so often taken for granted. People notice when it is not there (eg. Tina S), but not when it is nurtured as well as the Warning do. And true divas like Angelina Jordan and Lucy Thomas don't have the CRM skills of the 3 Mexican donnas. Though what comes to mind is this Russian (living in Spain fortunately) pianist called Gamazda - watch her recent Vienna recital, have a look how she has the audience in the palm of her hands. I've watched a bit of REN, mostly through reactions (though I did watch his trademark track on his own site) - so that's not really rap in my opinion, it's more like guitar ambiance to his human interest stories.
The only song she sings by herself, even when the rest of the band plays. She also is the only writer. The look on her face before she starts talking is Priceless.
@@MrsRealistic Yep, you can see her eyes shining with tears as she gives a little smile and shakes her head in disbelief at the sight of 8000 people who have come just to see and celebrate them on their 10th anniversary (about half of whom are waving cell phones the way we waved lighters years ago). I'd never forget that sight from the stage, either!!!
Thank You for the heartfelt reaction. I was gonna request the Monterrey version initially because it’s even more emotional but I decided on the Pepsi Center version due to the high quality. I’ll try to find more of my TW favorites that you haven’t seen yet for donation requests. Thanks again! Mike Coughlin Jr.
Great reaction! Thank you Mrs. Realistic! Daniela es un ser especial, siempre tiene la sonrisa más genuina y alegre, cuando Dany sonríe, todos queremos sonreír, cuando Dany llora, todos lloramos. The Warning, rock auténtico por músicos auténticos.
Thank you for the Awesome Reaction, and thank you much Micheal Cofflan Jr. My Favorite Song by any Artist. Crimson Queen from Lanario CDMX is Dany with an acoustic and Pau w/ a Shaker Ali with nice soft bass lines. So Beautiful.
This song is from their first album, *XXI Century Blood*, released in 2017. Dany wrote it in 2015 when she was just 15 years old. There are several versions of them playing this live over the years. The most recent, besides this one, was at Teatro Metropolitan in 2022. Another great version is from their 2017 TEDx talk when they were 16, 14, and 12 years old. They also performed the song at a storytelling concert in 2018 at Agua Fría, San Pedro Garza García, Mexico, where Dany shared this about the song (translated from Spanish): "With your permission, I'm going to sit down to tell you a little more about this next song. Well, this next song is very, very, very special for me because, to be honest, I struggled a bit more when I first started as a composer. I remember being in Boston-we were studying at Berklee College of Music-and we had a composition class. It was a group class where each of us had to bring a composition. We would analyze it and see what could be improved. We had the task of writing a song. I remember that one day before class, I still had absolutely nothing. I was thinking, 'What am I going to do?' It wasn't because I was lazy or had forgotten the assignment-I just hadn't found inspiration for a song. In that moment of despair, I missed my home and my friends a lot because we had been away for a long time. I also felt like nobody understood that I didn't work the same way as others when it came to composing. That's when this song, *When I'm Alone*, was born."
This is fantastic, but the version from Monterrey is even better. Dany is always more emotional when shes playing in her home town. I'll let someone else tell the story behind this song. Also, if you want to see the full band version, watch the video from the Teatro Metropolitan.
Hello there. I'm back for more. I just watched you react to Dany's performance, and watching you watch her had me practically bawling. This is why you're one of my faves. Keep it up. Here's my request. Please react to "Error" from the Pepsi Center concert. About two thirds of the way through, watch Dany's passion peak. It gets me every time. One more thing, I just saw the Warning Tuesday and Wednesday night in Pomona and Los Angeles. I wish you could have been there! Next, im seeing them in Guadalajara. Then in Cologne, Germany and London, England. Yes, I'm a fan, AND I'm celebrating my retirement. I noticebyiu have not reacted to their Enter Sandman video from when they were kids yet! You should do that one with your daughter. Thank you in advance, and sorry fir the book! Lol Charlie
Thank you so much! Yes, my daughter and I will be doing a few videos together probably next week... so I'm saving that one for her! You sound like you're having a wonderful retirement! That's the way to do it!
I just saw a video where the young ladies of The Warning hit #1 on the Billboard Emerging Artists charts with "Keep Me Fed", #4 on the Hard Rock chart, and #7 on the Rock chart. 🤘
...Ale in an interview actually said she doesn't like performing it because it wasn't challenging...she jus stands up their n twangs...I've always enjoyed each performances ...so makes sense...as usual...banger reaction 2 our ladys...thank U...
The only thing missing in this beautiful acoustic version is the guitar solo, one of Dany's finest. Speaking of guitars, that thing is not just an instrument, it's a piece of art. When Dany said "you are not alone, you've got me, you've got my sisters" that's when I realized that the reasons to love these people are getting way too many to count, at this point. And I hope they know they've got us too. 4:12 That little headshake, and the smile, she can't believe her eyes, or her ears. But you better believe it Dany, you really are that loved. They really are a credit to their parents, Luis and Monica.
@@MrsRealistic Yes, and Pau was very affected during Black Holes and Breathe. As a bassist who doesn't like to sing, Ale doesn't get the same opportunities to be alone with the crowd like Pau and Dany do, but I am sure she too has a soft and emotional side, like her sisters. All three of them seem to be amazing people, that's for sure. Have you done Black Holes from this show? If not, hop to it 😁 It's also an emotional one. And then Dust To Dust, together with Dull Knives (Cut Better).
The glint in her eyes tells it all, she is such a beautiful soul that 'Automatic Sun' should be her soundtrack! Allways pulling her elder sister duties and trying to make everyone feel better no matter how she feels herself.
I've loved music my whole life, but it wasn't until I found The Warning that my core inner emotions would be truly touched, by three innocent young Artists... They Are A True Gift!!!
Your analysis is 100% correct, even as the song is older then you think. It comes from the times they were at the summer program at the Berkley College. But it is exactly about feeling alone and lost even as in reality she had there her sisters and even mother (because of Ale's age at the time). But the feeling (and probably a depression bout) was certainly authentic. You can hear it in the song.
I wonder what Mini-Realistic would think about this since she's around the age Dany was when she wrote it. Thanks for another great reaction MR! It's hard to confront these feelings sometimes but the way Dany invites us to see that while we can feel alone with others around us, when we sing together it lets us know deep inside that we aren't alone with our loneliness!
Debatable... I'm usually a blubbering mess...I can't watch anything about children growing up and getting married... or songs about children growing up... they used to be your baby etc. Those are the ugly cries 😢 😆
Their ability of writing that kind of lyrics when They were teenagers is unbelievable. I would love to listen Them performing now whole QOTMS album - with Their present skills and experience that would be breathtaking show. I`ll be repeating this again and again: The Warning is one in a generation experience. They make our life better. :)
i recently recieved hand written lyrics by Dany for this song and i was crying before i got it all the way out of the envelope because of how she accentuates and emotes even in her writing. first lyric i ever recieved was crimson queen written by Dany and the same, very powerful stuff. Dany also inspired an 11yo Quinn to learn guitar to Queen Of The Murder Scene LP and now at 17yo Quinn guitar/vocals now has a band called Freeze The Fall with 16yo Aria on bass/vocals and 16yo Jonah on drums. be good to one another and ROCK ON !!

This song and Crimson Queen are Dany's songs. Most of the songs are began by Pau and brought to the group to refine, but those two are all Dany.
They are either melting your face or breaking you emotionally both are powerful and appreciated. These ladies are amazing loved your reaction thank you. 🔥⚡
I feel the same way 💯
When someone hears this song for the first time, and was wrote by a very young homesick teenager years ago, and it is still relevant to the time they watched it without knowing the story behind it, just tells me how great a song it truly is. To stand the test of time, still be able to connect and resonate as it does, is simply amazing. With the post pandemic world, living alone and on the internet, it has just strengthened it's grip too.
I think many people can relate!
Nice reaction, we all fans cried, you are not alone 🫶🤧
Dany just gave the entire world a hug. ⚡⚡⚡
🙌
Wowww.. que Mexicanas tan Chingonas !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Queens of the Rocker Scene TW...🤟🖤😎♨️🇲🇽⚡
I loved your reaction, very heartfelt and natural.
and to think that Danny composed it when she was a child in that summer program at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, a gift that Ellen Degeneres gave to each of them for USD$10,000 dollars so that they could study music.
According to the girls, everyone at that university was a great student and they were the only girls.
yes,, we shed tears of love together,,every time..and there will have been many telling you how this came to be,,
Dany's the best.❤
Thank you for not holding back your emotion!!! it is such a rare thing these days to find human humans!!
Yeah, I'm not very good at holding it in 😄
@@MrsRealistic 🫂
I think this is part of why I love reaction videos. I didn't get emotional at the performance as much as I did your reaction to it. Proof that a connection is made even if it is only virtual.
Very true!
One of the saddest but most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard ❤⚡️ Daniella’s voice is like magic and so pretty and emotional here
Really glad their music is gaining notoriety because they are amazing artist!
Haha
I did black holes acoustic a while back... in case you didn't see it 😊
@@MrsRealistic The Pepsi Center versions hit much, much harder.
Well I am a fan of rap (certainly not all of it) but Dany did such a beautiful job "talk singing"... it's such a lovely way to connect with the fans!
She's truly the most beautiful woman on Earth.
The only song she sings by herself, even when the rest of the band plays. She also is the only writer. The look on her face before she starts talking is Priceless.
You could see how much it affected her!
Thanks for picking it out! I rely on all of you guys to tell me which are the best versions! 👌 😊
Great reaction! Thank you Mrs. Realistic! Daniela es un ser especial, siempre tiene la sonrisa más genuina y alegre, cuando Dany sonríe, todos queremos sonreír, cuando Dany llora, todos lloramos. The Warning, rock auténtico por músicos auténticos.
Dany una verdadera maestra de la interpretación ,su rostro demuestra que vive los temas que interpreta wow
⚠️ ⚡ 💛 ⚡ ⚠️
This was so beautiful. I'm not crying, you're crying!
I was just cutting some onions for dinner...I like to multi task.
Excellent my friend... excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That sounds heavenly!
My friend: ¡Siempre acompañada, y tan sola!
They also performed the song at a storytelling concert in 2018 at Agua Fría, San Pedro Garza García, Mexico, where Dany shared this about the song (translated from Spanish):
"With your permission, I'm going to sit down to tell you a little more about this next song.
Lol
Charlie
Thank you so much! Yes, my daughter and I will be doing a few videos together probably next week... so I'm saving that one for her! You sound like you're having a wonderful retirement! That's the way to do it!
@@MrsRealistic Lol, I really gotta proofread my posts.
I just saw a video where the young ladies of The Warning hit #1 on the Billboard Emerging Artists charts with "Keep Me Fed", #4 on the Hard Rock chart, and #7 on the Rock chart. 🤘
great reaction!
Thank you!! 😁
Resonating so very strongly in my loner sensibility of being alone in a crowded room., that compatibility is electrifying .
...Ale in an interview actually said she doesn't like performing it because it wasn't challenging...she jus stands up their n twangs...I've always enjoyed each performances ...so makes sense...as usual...banger reaction 2 our ladys...thank U...
You could see how much it affected her...😥
@@MrsRealistic Yes, and Pau was very affected during Black Holes and Breathe.
One thing to say :
All Hail to Mr. and Mrs. Warning, You are Never Alone !!!!
⚡Viva The WARNING⚡
NWSU/FloorFan/Epican/Ayreonaut/TWA/PauFan🤘😎🤘.
Love these musicians/entertainers
You made my cry all over again to this song, the best version yet! See you on the next one!!😊⚡️
🙌😊
Daniela is just so Beautiful both inside and outside.. Such a loving beautiful person...Mexican family values on full display 🇲🇽
These ladies are great musicians and songwriters they are so unbelievably talented
Love, admire, adore
WOW! ANOTHER DANI MASTERPIECE ❤
I'm not sure... Phoenix is very emotional, like I am, so she might get choked up as well!
@@MrsRealistic Well you usually hold up better than me as a dude!
Debatable... I'm usually a blubbering mess...I can't watch anything about children growing up and getting married... or songs about children growing up... they used to be your baby etc. Those are the ugly cries 😢 😆
@@MrsRealistic Aw, it warms my heart that we aren't alone in being blubbering messes! Thanks for all!
It's true... not many teens are able to write with such talent and emotion!
I’m not crying! You’re crying 🥺 wtf….. 🕊❤️⚡️
Right?! Who's cutting onions?!
@@MrsRealistic ❤️😁🤘
Thanks ❤❤❤
i recently recieved hand written lyrics by Dany for this song and i was crying before i got it all the way out of the envelope because of how she accentuates and emotes even in her writing. first lyric i ever recieved was crimson queen written by Dany and the same, very powerful stuff.
What wonderful people they are! Never too busy for their fans!
