She wrote this song, it's about how her family are buried at Graceland and there's a space there waiting for her on the back lawn. This was before her son died and was buried there. We'll she's home now with them all. RIP sweet angel.
A great track of Lisa performing is Sticks and Stones live. There's also a few music videos to check out - Idiot, You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet. An entertaining interview with Letterman. Generally check out her studio albums or official music videos, as you can hear her low, sultry voice much clearer. All 3 albums are good, but her last one was fire. Musically, she had found her home.

Sad for Lisa~ she could never get out of the shadow of her iconic father. Everyone always compared her and wanted her to be just like him. Devastating. Which is why she rebelled and went total dark and rocker, taking hints from Pat Benatar, and Pink. I don't know what was worse for her, being compared, or never getting the attention for her own venture. She never really developed a musical personality that suited her beyond the media static. Crazy thing is, had she gone the other end of the spectrum and started acting, she would have forever been compared to her mom. Just like Riley is now. This is why Ben could not take the pressure anymore of being a Presley. So hopefully now Lisa is free, to just be, singing and doing whatever the hell she wants, whenever she wants, without being in a bubble under a microscope.

I have all 3 of Lisa Marie Presley's CD's, and every song is GOLD! And her duets with Elvis- tearjerkers! I only wish she and her ex Michael Jackson had sung a duet together!
I agree, Lisa Marie was the most beautiful woman in the World! So talented, so passionate! No wonder Michael Jackson wrote so many love songs about her!! She wrote many songs about him (some nice, some not so nice, as an ex will do, LOL!) She loved Michael Jackson with all of her heart and soul and he was one lucky guy in that way! She was more than a singer. She was also a songwriter. She was very much a part of the creative process for her music, but her 2012 album Storm & Grace, was in part named after her son, Benjamin Storm Keough. Now she never confirmed this but I'm of the belief she got the 'Grace' from Graceland.
Now that is just my very humble opinion.
Her life was no fairy tale. She was actually a very outspoken and very brave person.
She broke away from Scientology some years back but it was a fight. Her mother got her involved in Scientology.
If you really want to go down the rabbit hole of Lisa Marie Presley and her life struggles (and the hate leveled at her, even to this day based on rumors built on nothing but air) I'll be more than happy to provide you information. Like her father, she had more layers to her than an onion.
But she learned the same that her father had regarding baseless rumors about you: You gotta kill it and move on. And by that, what Elvis meant was, you can't let it fester in your mind. You kill the negativity in your own head and you move on from it.
That was Elvis's advice (not specifically to Lisa Marie, though): There are gonna be a lotta people that say a lotta things about you that aren't true but you kill it and you move on.
Lisa Marie may not have had her Dad for very long in her life. But she was absolutely her Daddy's girl.
There are two other songs that Lisa Marie co- wrote, one about her Dad, and one a direct message to Miscavage (guy that's the head of Scientology; it was basically her eff you song to him).
"Nobody Noticed It"- song about her Dad and about how some tried to take his dignity away from him both in his own life and after his death.
"You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet"- eff you message song to Miscavage (or however you spell that guy's name).

P.S. Riley Keough, Elvis's granddaughter & Lisa Marie's oldest daughter, plays in a new series called "Daisy Jones And The Six" based on a fictional book about a fictional 1970's band. Riley Keough actually sings in that series. But even before then during an interview she admitted she sang back up in the studio for a friend on her tracks.
Can't remember the friend's name. But yeah. Riley Keough is an actress and a singer as it turns out.

After Elvis died the corporate machine took over. The song is about the day she saw the open space (her grave plot) in the backyard of Graceland next to the graves of Elvis and his mother. One of the saddest songs written.
