Hello from Oregon, USA -- Thank-you so much for the well-produced and fun video walking tour of Bhaktapur. For 2 1/2 years in the mid-1970s, I lived and worked about 5 hours walk NW of Pokhara and would always look forward to a trip to the Kathmandu Valley and Bhaktapur once or twice a year. At the time, the population of Kathmandu was only 160,000 people and the city center was surrounded by agriculture. There were few private cars and no motorcycles at all in that era, but many more bicycles and rickshaws. Thanks again for evoking nice memories of an adventurous and wonderful time in my life. @@SilkyRonTheRoad -- I have returned to Nepal 4 times over the years, and would stay 3-6 months each visit. By the end of the 80s, Kathmandu was starting to get a bit crowded, so I would go straight to Bhaktapur from the airport upon arrival. Good to see Bhaktapur has recovered from the 2015 earthquake.
