Listening to this as an employee that's going to ask for a raise, now I'm going to set an upfront expectation at the beginning of the conversation if at the end of the conversation with what I'm going to lay out they think they would be able to make a decision or have an idea of what they might be able to do. If they tell me they need to think about it, I will ask what it is that they need to think about this way I clarify their thoughts. At this point it's just an objection. There is no reason he or she can't give you their thoughts after the meeting, unless they are not the sole decision maker, which I would uncover at the beginning as well.
Everything is a negotiation. So if we have to step into that role of negotiation, we have to start challenging people and letting them know what our expectations are through our questions.
my company is hijacked by employees, dealing with emotional threats daily, hurting long term projects and overall growth of the company. its a relief to hear your words, thank you!
Another great video 📼 , to the point where it needs to be.🥰 Dave would you please shed some light on the processes of stepping upwards of 100k to 500k in revenues. Or does this scenario corresponds to one of the Business Development videos?

Check out the video about going from Sox figures to seven in business. That is similar to what you’re asking.

If people are _asking_ for a raise, you've already failed as a manager. Clear goals/schedules should have been in place beforehand.
