- After some brilliant rides in Sumbawa, what better way to finish up than to have a pleasant surprise from local villagers for my last camping morning on the island. It made it that much harder to leave the island but, I was also looking forward to finally making it to Flores. Overall a great journey from West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) to East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) and I also got to meet nice people on my first evening in Flores. You have some iconic phrases. 'We are starting a little later this morning' is one of my favorites. Love the relaxed vibe of your trip. I am sure there are some challenges, but I love the attitude. How often did you leave your bike unattended? It would be a shame to have your equipment taken. It a good thing you speak the language.

I was on that ferry before from labuan bajo to sape.

That beach looked really good and the people were very welcoming. Your shooting and music choice were spot on. I have ridden both the northern route to Maumere that goes via Reo and Riung and the main route that goes via Ruteng, Borung, Aimere, Bajawa and Kelimutu. The main route is more spectacular
There's a great bakery in Borung called the "Bougainvillea ". It's closed on Sundays though. Flores is a pleasure to ride. The memories you compile there will stay with you forever. Enjoy.
