    Sitting on the outside aisle to hang a leg out... I totally relate to that !!
    I'm a runner and I've stopped doing the hip exercises, and after six months my hip impingement is starting to make itself felt again. After a run, the sorness is right along the area of the hipflexor muscle you showed with the rope on the skeleton model. And a small pinch/poking in the groin when sitting up straight. Thanks for all the videos to get me motivated again.

    God bless you for addressing this!!! I’ve had awful groin pain on right side…appeared prior to hip replacement and still existed for four years now. Have gone to many many Physical therapist and doctors. None of them have been able to figure it out. I remain very active but that pain is getting worse and it seems like it’s starting on the left side as well

    I have a groin pain for over a year. I believe it started with a groin pull but now it is a lasting constant dull pain. Sometimes its still a very sharp pain if i move to fast or repeatedly engage the muscle for to long. The pain is at my inner thigh just off the pubic bone next to the scrotum.

    Hello,I am watching this video on skin rolling ,pelvic tilts, I will try but need an appointment with you , PT helped for 4 months ,and now my Right upper hip continues to hurt ,former tear of these gluteals,piriformis and soas about 1996.This comes back and can not ever get rid of it.I dance and it starts up again 71 y/o,Thanks for help

    I play soccer and have had groin pain for about 8 months and now on the right side of my abs. I stopped playing 3 months ago thinking it would go away on its own but I was wrong. Would these exercises work for me? I’ve been to the doctors and they said it’s a strain and recommended PT.

      We have used them for people with adductor strains but we should probably program something more specific for your problem to give you the maximum healing in the least time

    Yes it’s definitely in my groin or the bottom tip of the psoas /it band in that exact area where they all tie in. I have been rolling on a hardball to message the effected area that oddly enough feels to be moving as I try to chase the tissue while rolling on the hard ball? This trigger point is behaving very elusive as I chance it around.

    I have insane pain on my left groin and it extends to my lower left back. It’s hard to walk if I don’t use my tiptoes and sometimes the pain shoots up in my groin. I don’t know what to do since my doctors appointment is in a week, is there a name for the pain I’m going through? I’m unable to find it

      Also it feels like one of my let’s is shorter as my right knee usually comes out and I have to basically use my tip toe on left foot

    I hear "pop" on my back but without pain almost every time when sitting back while doing the side bridge exercise. It only happens when the unaffected side of the Groin is on the upper position. Is it ok to continue the exercise?

    I don’t know what pain I have but it’s in there in the crease. I also have sciatica. I don’t know it can be also one area hurts and it’s effecting other areas

    I’m sitting here trying to figure out exactly where I hurt and try to explain this. Basically when I walk. If I just make one bad lunge (step) I pull that groin muscle. So of course if I try to do a small squat it’s uneven. No rotation if I try to do a leg raise. Then I feel like I have pinched nerves or something on my backside. I do get treated for bursitis in my hips w cortisone shots which helps, but damn I want this muscle pain to stop. I just want to make a good walking stride. I want my motion in my right leg 😢

      Hi Amy Sorry to hear about your situation. For many people their pain and tightness tends to move around. One day it may seem like the hip is more painful, in the next day it may feel like the adductors are more tight, and the next day it may feel like it’s in your back.

The sad reality is many people just take random exercises and stretches from UA-cam and assume that is a one-size-fits-all model. When the truth is that exercise and stretches are used as specifically as a medication for a certain type of medical condition. They can be very helpful but also they can carry side effects when used improperly.
