So as the seasons move from Summer to fall, firewood again tops the list of priorities. AND time with friends as well. Gives an opportunity to run saws that might otherwise sit on a shelf. I happen to enjoy running the vintage saws of ALL brands, but the Swedish ones in particular. Maybe because of their history that I find interesting or maybe because I have more than a little of that Scandinavian heritage as well. Never a logical thing, so trying to define in a quantifying way why I prefer one vintage saw over another is impossible. Just like them... then spend a lot of time talking about their "positives" to rationalize that? But who cares, it's the smiles not the performance that matters with these. And with Fall and firewood the "smile" factor is the top priority. My favorite time of the year..
