    Very nice thorough video. You started with my favorite. The CP88! I have the blued version with wood grips. I actually took a paint pen and added white dots to the front and rear sights. It is an excellent and fun shooting gun. I also replaced the front slide stop pin and spring with an after-market stainless steel one.
    Thanks for sharing your collection.

    Happy to say I bought one today in black. First ever co2 pistol. Was hesitant about the belt fed mags of other guns and fell in love with the style of the Beretta. Thanks for the video!

    I have owned - from new - one of the very first CCP88’s. I bought it in 1996 and it has been in my possession ever since. What’s unusual is that at the time they also made a “competition” kit consisting of an additional 6” barrel and an extra pice of top slide which is vented. I also have this and it’s complete instructions too! The blue plastic box has seen better days and the foam insert has started to crumble away, but after almost thirty years I think it’s entitled to!

    The lock back on last shot is accomplished (in the real steel and BB replica versions) by the magazine follower going fully to the top of the magazine, it lifts an arm that catches the slide as it travels back into battery.

    If you'd just open the video with "CO2 replica revolvers are the best pellet firing replicas that you can get", you would have saved yourself quite a bit of time, been totally truthful and had my undying respect, lol. All of my auto replicas are BB versions, the full size drop free magazine, the lock back on last shot, the ability to field strip it like the original and the blowback make them stand head & shoulders above the plethora of non-blowback, ring mag, crunchy & heavy trigger pull, no lock back on last shot lookalikes (a replica should replicate the action of the original as well as look like it, as far as I'm concerned).
    The original SIG P226 (made by KWC) is a great gun, okay it's a BB firing replica but I think that once you had a go with one you'd not want to go back to the pellet version, the full size drop free mags (which are still available to buy, I've got three), the lock back on last shot, fully open ejection port c/w internal cover and the fact that you can field strip it put it in a far higher category of a quality replica than I think you'd realise.
    You did miss out quite a few honourable mentions when it comes to CO2 replica pellet revolvers though; the iconic Colt SAA, the wonderful Webley mkVI, the 7 shot Nagant 1895, the powerhouse that is the Schofield, the dual ammo Remington 1875, the Dan Wesson 715 (obviously, lol) and then there's the 'go ahead, make my day' S&W model 29....But I do agree with you, the S&W 629 Classic is an absolute stunner !
    But all that aside, another great video buddy 😁

      Cheers mate. I get that there are a lot of great pellet revolvers out there but I can only really speak for the ones in my personal collection if you see what I mean? Yeah I’d have to say the closest replicas outside of revolvers are all bb shooters. Thanks for watching!

    Great video. My favourite pellet airgun replica is definitely the Umarex Colt Peacemaker revolver (pellet version). My Umarex M29 (8" barrel) comes close (even though it's a BB version with a smooth bore, it can shoot pellets quite precisely). My least favourite pellet airgun in my collection has to be the Sig Sauer M17. I hate this thing. I hate the notchy trigger on it, I hate the useless slide, I hate the design of the magazine, I hate the plasticky feel of it. I also hate the very low FPS of it (much lower than the advertised 430 FPS on the box). I wish I had never bought it. It now sits in its original packaging. The only thing going for it is the looks.

    Didn't you mention in an earlier video that the Sig We The People 1911 was your favorite pistol ?.....lol. No matter, too many nice ones to choose from as of late. I'll agree the silver/black 92FS pellet is likely the "Best Of Show" replica going . Revolver goes to the classic Colt SAA, with kudos to the 715 & 629/29...😄

    The whole point of having these guns is shooting them, and if they can't shoot straight or aren't reliable, then I'd take a pass. My Colt Umarex nonblowback was wonderful until the middle of the Covid thing when Germany stopped making them for a while. I got a Sig that had fixed sights that didn't shoot to the point of aim and I have a shotgun that threw tighter patterns. Oh yeah, the point. You should test the guns to see how they shoot.

    Question:
    What is the cheapest BB gun in USA…CO2 needs to pass my test 5 CO2 cartridges without leaking or falling apart.
    In Kenada I think XBG $39.99+tax is the cheapest, maybe I am wrong but..Chinese rifle same price until year ago and it went to $65? Are you crazy insane or insane crazy, one store asking $278 for Crosman SR 357…Crazy times and prices, have to stock up on CO2 getting low low low….

    what about the Glock 17 gen 4? it has everything as you would expect, unlike the gen 5 which honestly feels like a downgrade in comparison to the gen 4.

    • @airgunreplicas77
      @airgunreplicas77  Рік тому

      I haven’t seen a dedicated Glock Gen 4 pellet gun other than the hybrid one that shoots bb’s also. Also I can’t really voice a valid opinion if I don’t own that particular gun if you get my meaning. I can only talk with any credibility about the pistols I own. I love my Glock Gen 4 bb version but mine doesn’t shoot pellets which is why it didn’t feature in this video. Thanks for watching.
